The voice did not come from any precise direction, yet it seemed to envelop the entire space, as if it had always been there.

He was in no condition to search for its source, but there was no need to. The voice felt familiar, so familiar that he was almost certain he had heard it not long ago.
And indeed, as if answering his doubts, another change occurred in the environment, and soon a line appeared in the sky, close to their position.
The line expanded vertically for about two meters before tearing apart the very fabric of reality and opening up like a chasm.
That sight sent chills down the headmaster's spine, as he understood what that technique could be, and precisely because he understood it, he knew how difficult it was to accomplish something like that.
