(Now that the mysterious GS Ball has been delivered to Kurt, the Pokeball expert, Mew and her friends are now making their way to the Azalea Gym for Mew's long awaited match.)
Mew: "It can't be far now."
(Mew says.)
Brock: "The second gym in the Johto League, the Azalea Town gym."
(Brock says.)
Tomo: "I can't wait to see."
(Tomo says.)
Jen: "I can't wait for Mew to win."
(Jen says.)
(Mew giggles in reply.)
(Just then, Misty holds her canteen and uses it as a microphone to ask.)
Misty: "Mew, do you have a prediction about your upcoming Pokémon match?"
Mew: "Well, I predict that it might be a tough battle, but I'm sure to win."
(Mew says.)
Eevee: "Eevee," (I agree.)
(Eevee says.)
Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (You betcha!)
(Pikachu says.)
Misty: "You're right about that. I think this'll be a tough one for you, if you haven't come up with a plan yet."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "How come?"
(Mew asks.)
Misty: "You don't have your star battler anymore. In your other gym matches, you could count on Charizard to use its fire power to win during tougher matches."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "That's true, but I have my other Pokemon with me who are just as strong."
(Mew says.)
(Then she brings out Cyndaquil's Pokeball.)
Mew: "I do miss Charizard, but I know he's training hard at the valley. And I have my other Pokemon, like Cyndaquill who has plenty of firepower."
Misty: "That's true, it might be tough, but I'm sure you'll win if you have a plan."
(Misty says.)
(Soon, Mew and the others are standing in front of the gym.)
Mew: "Well, this is it."
(Mew says.)
(Then Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Hello? Anybody here?"
Misty: "Are you positive we're in the right place? Cause this looks more like a garden then a Pokemon gym."
(Misty asks.)
Brock: "Well, it may look like a garden, but according to the guide book, this is the Azalea Town gym."
(Brock says.)
Mew: "Come on, let's have a look around."
(Mew says, and walks inside.)
Misty: "Uh, guys. Maybe we should wait here."
(Misty says.)
(Soon, everyone begins to walk inside the gym to find the gym leader.)
(Mew looks around.)
Mew: "The gym leader's gotta be around here, someplace."
Brock: "I know we're inside, but it feels like we're in a forest."
(Brock says.)
Mew: "Yeah. Kind of reminds me of the forest just outside of Pallet Town."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "Or the Viridian Forest."
(Misty says.)
Tomo: "Or the forest at the Pokemon Nature Preserve."
(Tomo says.)
(Then Jen says.)
Jen: "Or the forest at Jurassic Island."
Misty: "Well, to me, it feels like something creepy is gonna jump out at us any second now."
(Misty says, growing uneasy.)
Mew: "What kind of something, Misty?"
(Mew asks.)
Misty: "Like, something that could sneak up behind you and..."
(Misty says, but interrupted to feel something on her head.)
(Misty screams and runs around in a panic.)
Misty: "Something's on my head! Something's on my head!"
(Mew stops Misty from running.)
Mew: "Calm down Misty, it's only a Caterpie."
(Misty stops panicking and looks up to see that it is a Caterpie on her head.)
Misty: "Oh, so it is."
(Misty says.)
(Then turns to Mew.)
Misty: "Can you get it off of me?"
Mew: "Sure."
(Mew says, and picks up Caterpie from her head.)
(She places it down on the ground.)
Mew: "There you go."
(Then Caterpie crawls away.)
Misty: "That really scared me for a minute there."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "Is this really a gym? It's more like a forest or Bug Type, which is a good environment for them."
(Mew says.)
(Suddenly, someone says.)
???: "Wrong, miss."
(Everyone soon looks up in the tree to see a young boy with purple hair, and wears a safari like outfit.)
(The boy says.)
???: "This is definitely a Pokémon gym, the Azalea Town Gym, and in a way, this is a forest, for my Bug Pokemon anyway. Because everyone knows that bug Pokémon are the best Pokemon in the world!"
Mew: "Um hello, who might you be?"
(Mew asks.)
???: "I think it will be more proper if you tell me who YOU are."
(The boy says.)
(Mew then says.)
Mew: "My name is Mew, from Pallet Town, and I came to challenge the Azalea Town gym leader."
???: "Oooooh! You're another challenger!"
(The boy says.)
Bugsy: "I'm Bugsy, the Azalea Town gym leader. Bug Pokemon are my specialty. And I know just about everything there is to know about them."
Mew: "Okay then, let's battle."
(Mew says.)
Bugsy: "I accept all challengers, that's the job of a gym leader."
(Bugsy says, determined.)
(But then says.)
Bugsy: "But before we start..."
Mew: "Yeah?"
(Mew asks.)
(Then Bugsy asks.)
Bugsy: "Could you get the ladder? I'm stuck up here."
(Everyone stumbles in disbelief.)
(Later, Mew helps bring the ladder against the tree, and Bugsy climbs down.)
(Climbing down, Bugsy says.)
Bugsy: "Thanks, guys."
Mew: "You should be more careful, Bugsy. If we weren't here, you'd still be stuck up there."
(Mew says.)
(But Bugsy says.)
Bugsy: "The only reason I knocked the ladder over was cause you guys yelled and surprised me. It was your fault I got stuck in the first place."
Misty: "OUR fault?!"
(Misty exclaims in anger.)
(Brock tries to calm Misty.)
Brock: "Settle down."
Mew: "He's right, Misty. It might have happened when the Caterpie landed on your head."
(Mew says.)
(As the group talks, Team Rocket spies from outside.)
James: "Those kids must be here to win another badge."
(James says.)
(And Meowth says.)
Meowth: "And from de looks of dis place, dat gym leader's gonna use bug Pokemon!"
Jessie: "Perfect."
(Jessie says.)
Jessie: "We'll wait until the twerp gets caught up in his match then we'll catch Pikachu and Eevee."
(And James says.)
James; "But we'll have to disguise ourselves to blend in with the décor."
Meowth: "Why not go with the classic garden motif?"
(Meowth suggests.)
(Soon, Team Rocket is in the gym disguised as a tree.)
(Dressed as a Sunflower, Jessie muffles.)
Jessie: "I'll be a beautiful flower."
(James is disguised as a tree.)
James: "I'll be a sturdy tree."
(Disguised as a weed, Meowth says.)
Meowth: "I'll be a pesky weed."
(Then Victreebel comes up and spooks James from behind, catching all the Bug Pokemon's attention towards them.)
(Jessie muffles.)
Jessie: "They've spotted us."
James: "Don't move."
(James muffles.)
Meowth: "Just act organic."
(Meowth muddles.)
(However, Victreebel lets out another screech.)
(Then all the Bug Pokemon web Team Rocket and Victreebel with String Shot.)
