(Continuing to make their way to Azalea Town and the next Johto League Gym, Mew and her friends find themselves in thick, dark woods.)
(They are trying to find their way to get to the town, and even try to use the guide book and Pokenav for it.)
Misty: "Is there anything the matter, Brock?"
(Misty asks.)
Brock: "There's nothing the matter with me, but there's definitely something the matter with this map."
(Brock says.)
Mew: "Hmm, my Pokenav says that we're getting close to Azalea Town, but I'm having trouble from our location of which we need to go."
(Mew says.)
Jen: "Sounds like we're lost again."
(Jen says.)
(Suddenly, someone calls out.)
???: "Hey, you!"
(The group turns to see a boy with purple hair, dark teal shirt, a red vest, light blue pants, and dark shoes.)
(The boy asks.)
The boy: "Have you kids seen any Cyndaquil around here?"
Mew: "Haven't seen one."
(Mew says.)
Tomo: "Nope."
(Tomo answers.)
Jen: "Not a one."
(Jen says.)
boy: "Beats me. I heard there are supposed to be wild ones all over the place."
(The young boy says.)
Mew: "I see."
(Mew says.)
Jen: "Maybe if we keep walking we'll find one, or they'll find us."
(Jen says.)
Mew: "Probably."
(Mew says.)
(However, the boy says.)
the boy: "Listen here, kid! You better stay away from the Cyndaquil if you know what's good for you!"
Mew: "What's that supposed to mean?"
(Mew asks, not liking the boy's attitude.)
(Brock steps forward.)
Brock: "Look, kid! What makes you think you have the right to tell her what she can and can't do?!"
Misty: "Whoever happens to find the Cyndaquil first has the right to catch it fair and square!"
(Misty says.)
(The boy angrily says.)
The boy: "Says who? Just stay out of my way and keep away form the Cyndaquil!"
(and walks away.)
Misty: "What an attitude."
(Misty says.)
Jen: "I feel sorry for any Cyndaquil he catches."
(Jen says.)
Brock: "You can say that again."
(Brock says.)
Tomo: "If you ask me, he shouldn't be catching it if he's not going to be nice."
(Tomo says.)
Mew: "Yeah."
(Mew says.)
(Misty turns to Mew.)
Misty: "Hey Mew, if you want, you should go find a Cyndaquil."
Mew: "Really? Are you sure?"
(Mew asks.)
Brock: "We're sure. Besides, I'm sure you want to catch one before that guy does."
(Brock says.)
Mew: "Okay, we'll try not to be gone for too long."
(Mew says.)
(Then turns to her Pokemon.)
Mew: "Come on, Pikachu, Eevee."
(The Pokemon agree.)
(Then the three head off into the woods to find a Cyndaquil.)
Misty: "Personally, I hope Mew finds a Cyndaquil. Even if it isn't a water type, it's really cute."
(Misty says.)
Tomo: "I hope she finds it before that guy does."
(Tomo says.)
Jen: "Me too."
(Jen says.)
(Meanwhile, Team Rocket spot the group from a top a large hill.)
Meowth: "Bingo! They're right in our line of fire!"
(Meowth says.)
James: "Our patience and planning is about to pay off."
(James says.)
(Then Jessie says.)
Jessie: "Not to mention our scrimping and saving."
(With teary eyes, Meowth says.)
Meowth: "About time! This Meowth has had enough of the rat race!"
Jessie: "We took jobs that were beneath us. Said demeaning things."
(Jessie says, thinking of her time as a cashier at a fast food restaurant.)
Jessie: "Just to save money for our latest secret weapon!"
(James thinks about the time he worked as a road worker.)
James: "There were times when I thought the time clock wasn't the only thing that would get punched."
(Meowth also thinks he works at handing things out to people.)
Meowth: "It was manual labor for you and Meowth-ual labor for me."
James: "And when the sun sank low and our spirits sank with it..."
(James says.)
(Then Meowth says.)
Meowth: "We'd look away from our humdrum existence and into the night sky."
Jessie: "Knowing in our hearts that one of these fateful days, we would finally be rewarded."
(Jessie adds.)
(James adds.)
James: "By tricking the twerps and catching that Pikachu and Eevee for ourselves!"
Meowth: "And then the tree of us..."
(Meowth says.)
(Jessie says.)
Jessie: "Would be stars in our own right. Shining brightly and triumphantly for the boss in the Team Rocket sky!"
(And break down in tears.)
Jessie: "So sorry. I don't know what's come over me."
James: "It's okay, Jess. This heat must've gone to your head."
(James says, reassuring Jessie.)
Meowth: "Someday we'll worry that our success will do the same thing, but until we do something right, this'll just have to do."
(Meowth says.)
(The three nod their heads together.)
(Meanwhile, the group keep together and decide to walk around and find Mew, since she is taking a little longer.)
Misty: "How far away did she get?"
(Misty asks.)
(Suddenly, they hear rustling in the bushes, followed by a familiar motto.)
Jessie: "Lost in the woods? Prepare for trouble!"
James: "Hand over the goods, or we'll make it double!"
Misty: "Not them again!"
(Misty says, annoyed.)
Brock: "Team Rocket!"
(Brock says.)
Tomo: "Here we go again."
(Tomo says.)
(Soon, Team Rocket's latest robot lands in front of the group.)
Jessie: "To protect the world from devastation!"
James: "To unite all people within our nation!"
Jessie: "To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
James: "To extend our reach to the stars above!"
Jessie: "Jessie!"
James: "James!"
Jessie: "Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of Light!"
James: "Surrender now or prepare to fight!"
Meowth: "Meowth! That's right!"
(But Meowth notices someone's missing.)
Meowth: "But this ain't!"
(Jessie notices it as well.)
Jessie: "Where are Pikachu, Eevee, and the twerp?!"
Misty: "Neither of them are here right now!"
(Misty says.)
Jessie: "Whoops. In that case, we take all that back. Let's go."
(Jessie says.)
James: "Roger!"
(James replies.)
(Team Rocket ducks back into the mecha Meowth.)
(Then James says.)
James: "Meowth-inator Impersonator, preparing to launch! Ignition!"
The robot: "Meowth that's right."
(The robot says.)
(Soon, Team Rocket takes off looking for Mew.)
(Meanwhile, Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee are still searching for a Cyndaquil.)
Mew: "Have you got any idea where this Cyndaquil might be, guys?"
(Mew asks.)
Pikachu: "Pika." (Sadly, no.)
(Pikachu answers.)
Eevee: "Eevee." (We don't.)
(Eevee says.)
Mew: "Too bad."
(Mew says.)
(Suddenly, Jessie's voice appears.)
Jessie: "Hold it right there, you two!"
(Soon, Team Rocket's Mecha Meowth lands.)
Mew: "What is that thing?!"
(Mew asks.)
Jessie: "You won't believe your eyes when we open the hatch!"
(Jessie says.)
(Then James says.)
James: "You're in for a surprise, cause you met your match."
Meowth: "It's us, twerp! You know, me and my big Meowth!"
(Meowth says.)
(Mew says, irritated.)
Mew: "Team Rocket!"
Eevee: "Eevee." (Oh great.)
(Eevee replies, annoyed.)
(Then Pikachu replies.)
Pikachu: "Pi Pikachu!" (Not you again!)
Meowth: "Not a chance. Things may be the same except that only, today, we ain't the same old Team Rocket you're used to."
(Meowth says.)
(Then Jessie laughs.)
Jessie: "That's right!"
(Then Team Rocket ducks into the robot.)
(Then Jessie says.)
Jessie: "We decided that, to be successful, we'd have to build a better mousetrap!"
James: "Or in this case, a better Meowth trap. So we pooled our savings and built this one!"
(James says.)
(And Meowth says.)
Meowth: "Now hand over that Pikachu or else!"
Mew: "Why should I listen to you, you giant fur ball?!"
(Mew calls out.)
(Then Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Pikachu, Thunderbolt, now! Eevee, use Swift"
(Pikachu and Eevee both use their attacks, but to no avail.)
(Team Rocket laughs it off.)
(Then Meowth says.)
Meowth: "The twoip don't know that electric energy just helps us power this ting."
Jessie: "Attack!"
(Jessie calls out.)
James: "Time to make this trouble double with our bubble gum bombs!"
(James says.)
