(Soon enough, Brock comes down with the Hoppip in hand.)
Brock: "There. Sorry it took so long."
Mariah: "Brock, you're the best."
(Mariah says, pleased.)
Brock: "Well, I don't know about that, but you could be right."
(Brock says.)
(Jen kneels to Oddish and says.)
Jen: "Good job, Oddish."
(Then Misty says.)
Misty: "Now we only have six more to find."
(The group continues the search and come across a river.)
(Oddish points into the river to see one of the Hoppip hanging onto a branch for its life.)
Mariah: "There's another one! It's stranded!"
(Mariah says, shocked.)
(Misty says.)
Misty: "If we don't save it fast, it'll get washed away!"
(Oddish tries to jump in, but Mew catches her and says.)
Mew: "Not so fast, Oddish! We don't want you to get washed away, too."
Brock: "I'll get it!"
(Brock says, and jumps into the river.)
Mew: "Be careful Brock. The rapids seem rough!"
(Mew says.)
(Brock manages to free the Hoppip and brings it out to safety.)
(Brock says.)
Brock: "Easy now. I gotcha. Don't worry, you're safe with me."
Tomo: "Now we have two!"
(Tomo says.)
(Hoppip quickly dries off.)
Misty: "Water's not gonna drown this little Hoppip's spirits."
(Misty say)
(Mariah happily says.)
Mariah: "Well, that's a relief."
(Later, Oddish starts looking around for something.)
Misty: "Oddish seems like it's looking for something."
(Misty says.)
(Oddish soon starts hopping up and down.)
Mew: "It sure is all hopped up."
(Mew says.)
(Then Brock says.)
Brock: "Oddish may not be able to fly like your Hoppip do, but it's just as good a hopper as they are."
Mariah: "That's true."
(Mariah replies.)
Tomo: "Hopping isn't gonna help us find the other five Hoppip, though."
(Tomo says.)
(Jen looks around.)
Jen: "I wonder where they could be?
(Soon, Oddish and Shiny Hoppip spot something in the sky.)
(Everyone looks to see another one of Mariah's Hoppip flying overhead.)
Brock: "Hey! There's one!"
(Brock says.)
(Oddish and Shiny Hoppip quickly follow.)
Mew: "Let's follow it!"
(Mew says.)
(Then everyone else follows Oddish and Shiny Hoppip.)
(Meanwhile, up in the sky, Team Rocket's balloon drifts along.)
(Not only Team Rocket are in the basket, so are the four of the five remaining Hoppip.)
(James chuckles.)
James: "That tornado had a silver lining. Who could've guessed it could blow those adorable, little Hoppip right into our beautiful balloon?
Jessie: "You might say we've had an unexpected windfall."
(Jessie says and laughs.)
(Then Meowth says.)
Meowth: "I say we start small and only use em for overnight delivery!"
(But James says.)
James: "Oh, give it up, Meowth."
Jessie: "I've got a more artistic suggestion."
(Jessie says.)
Jessie: "Give each Hoppip a little, tiny pinwheel. What do you two think of that adorable idea?"
(and fantasizes about them having pinwheels and they float in the air?)
(However, James and Meowth disagree.)
James and Meowth: "Hate it."
(Soon, Jessie spots another Hoppip.)
Jessie: "Another Hoppip! And it's headed this way!"
James: "Let's get the net!"
(James says.)
(Soon, Team Rocket catches the floating Hoppip)
Meowth: "Great! We got one more!"
(Meowth says.)
(Soon, Mew and the others arrive.)
(Everyone shouted.)
Everyone: "Team Rocket!"
Mariah: "That's mine! Give it back to me!"
(Mariah demands.)
(Team Rocket spots the group, but smiles slyly.)
(Meowth is the first to say.)
Meowth: "They're ours, now!"
James: "The Hoppip no longer belong to you!"
(James says.)
(They then stick their tongues out and begin to tease them.)
Mew: "Oh, yeah?"
(Mew angrily says.)
Misty: "We'll see about that!"
(Misty says.)
(She then calls out.)
Misty: "Staryu, I choose you!"
(and throws her Pokeball.)
(And Staryu comes out of the Pokeball.)
(Misty says to Staryu.)
Misty: "Staryu, Tackle attack that balloon!"
(Staryu flies over and one of its points hits the balloon, puncturing it, and sending it crashing into the woods.)
Mew: "Come on!"
(Mew says.)
(Everyone heads towards the woods where Team Rocket crashes.)
(In the forest, the three are recovering, and their faces on the ground.)
Jessie: "That Staryu, certainly does have a point."
(Jessie says.)
(Suddenly, Mew's voice appears.)
Mew: "Let's have em!"
(They lift their heads to see Mew and the gang.)
Misty: "Give us back those Hoppip!"
(Misty demands.)
Meowth: "Not without a fight, twerps!"
(Meowth says.)
(Then James throws his Pokeball and calls out.)
James: "Go, Victreebel!"
(Victreebel comes out, and tries to swallow James again.)
(James cries out.)
James: "Don't go after me!
Mew: "I know who I'm gonna choose."
(Mew says, and calls out.)
Mew: "Go, Heracross!"
(Heracorss comes out of the Pokeball.)
(Then Jessie throws her Pokeball.)
Jessie: "Let's get em, Arbok!"
(Arbok comes out of the Pokeball.)
Misty: "Get in there, too, Staryu!"
(Misty calls out.)
(Staryu leaps into battle.)
(However, Oddish and Shiny Hoppip get in front of Staryu and Heracorss, catching them both by surprise.)
Mariah: "What are you both doing?"
(Mariah asks.)
Jen: "I think Oddish and Hoppip want to battle!"
(Jen says.)
(Oddish and Shiny Hoppip nod their heads to confirm it.)
(However, Jessie and James begin laughing at it.)
James: "My Victreebel is finally going to have a victory!"
(James says.)
(Then calls out.)
James: "Go, Victreebel! Tackle attack, now!"
(Victreebel tackles the attack, but Oddish retaliates with her own Tackle Attack with a strong kick.)
Misty: "Oddish has a super strong kick!"
(Misty says, amazed.)
Jen: "It must be from all that hopping!"
(Jen says.)
(Soon, Oddish begins to perform Stun Spore at Victreebel.)
Brock: "Oddish is using Stun Spore!"
(Brock says.)
(Victreebel quickly becomes paralyzed, allowing Oddish to knock it out with another kick.)
Tomo: "And Oddish is the winner!"
(Tomo cheers.)
(However, Jessie says.)
Jessie: "Not yet. Arbok, try a Bite attack!"
(Arbok then charges to bite on Shiny Hoppip, but Shiny Hoppip quickly jumps and spins the leaves so it can fly.)
(As well as Oddish leap super high.)
Jen: "Wow! It's almost like it CAN fly!"
(Jen says, amazed.)
(Hoppip and Oddish then begin to use Sleep Powder on Arbok.)
Brock: "And now they're using Sleep Powder!"
(Brock says.)
(Soon, the Sleep Powder has taken effect and soon drifts off to sleep.)
(Jessie tries to wake Arbok up.)
Jessie' "Wake up, Arbok! This is crunch time, not naptime!"
Tomo: "You're doing great, Hoppip!"
(Tomo says.)
Misty: "Keep going, Oddish!"
(Misty calls out.)
Meowth: "This is embarrassing. Okay, twerps."
(Meowth says.)
(He spits in his paws and charges for an attack.)
Meowth: "Scratch attack time!"
(Oddish then gathers some sunlight, and launches a powerful Solar Beam attack, sending Team Rocket blasting off.)
James: "It seems like we're doing much more flying than those Hoppip are,"
(James says.)
Meowth: "Hey, maybe we should start an express delivery service ourselves! We already got the sharp looking uniforms!"
(Meowth says.)
(But Jessie shouts at him.)
Jessie: "It's all over, Meowth!"
(All three scream.)
Team Rocket: "We're blasting out of business!"
(Soon, everyone celebrates.)
(Later, everyone all has the Hoppip together again.)
(Mariah is very grateful.)
Mariah: "I can't tell you how happy I am that you all made it home safely."
Misty: "And it never would've happened if it wasn't for Oddish and her Hoppip friend."
(Misty says.)
Oddish and Shiny Hoppip: "Oddish/Hoppip," (Thank you.)
(Oddish and Shiny Hoppip says.)
Mew: "If you ask me, any Pokemon that battles as hard as you do has a lot to be proud of, even if it can't fly."
(Mew says.)
Oddish: "Oddish?" (Really?)
(Oddish asks.)
Jen: "That's right, Oddish,"
(Jen happily says.)
Jen: "And there wouldn't have even been a battle if you hadn't done such an excellent job of finding Mariah's Hoppip in the first place."
(Hoppip talks and says that she agrees.)
(Oddish is proven to be a great Pokemon)
Oddish: "Oddish," (Golly.)
(Oddish says, embarrassed.)
Brock: "Pokemon are all different and they're all good at different things."
(Brock says.)
(Then Mew says.)
Mew: "Some Pokemon have super hearing like Marill and Zubat, some have great electric attacks like Pikachu. And some have great singing voices like Meloetta and Jigglypuff."
(The Pokemon agree.)
(Then Misty says.)
Misty: "One Pokemon might be great with Water Gun, and another might have a strong Razor Leaf or Quick Attack. But nobody's good at everything."
(Then Jen says.)
Jen: "You're not a Hoppip, and you'll never be able to fly, but you sure can kick."
(Then Tomo says.)
Tomo: "Plus, you get to use Stun Spore and Sleep Powder and even real powerful attacks like Solar Beam.
Brock: "Just remember, it's what you can do and not what you can't do that counts."
(Brock says.)
(Mariah asks.)
Mariah: "Are you listening, Oddish?"
Oddish: "Oddish," (Sure am.)
(Oddish says.)
(Then Mariah says.)
Mariah: "You're special just the way you are, Oddish, and you'll always be special to me."
(Oddish then leaps into Mariah's arms.)
Mariah: "Of course I do! And from now on, we'll think of you as an honorary Hoppip that's a little oddish."
(Mariah happily says.)
(Everyone soon laughs.)
(Later in the evening, Mew and the others help Mariah fix her home.)
(Mariah is grateful.)
Mariah: "Thank you. You've all done so much for me. You even helped me fix the house."
Misty: "We wanted to Mariah."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "We were happy to do it."
(Mew says.)
(Then Tomo says.)
Tomo: "Yeah, that's what friends are for."
(Brock goes all lovey dovey again.)
Brock: "Oh, Mariah. My heart is flying higher than any Hoppip ever could! Say the word and I'll stay here with you and share the weather together forever!"
(Misty pulls Brock away by the ear.)
Misty: "Time to go, Romeo."
Mariah laughs.)
(Soon, Mew and the others begin their departure.)
(It's also revealed that Shiny Hoppip likes to tag along with Jen and is riding on Amura's back with Snubbull.)
(Everyone says their farewells.)
Mariah: "Good luck on your journey!"
(Mariah calls out.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "See ya later!"
(Then Brock says.)
Brock: "You know how to reach me!"
Tomo: "Goodbye!"
(Tomo says.)
(Then Jen says?)
Jen: "Take care, everybody!"
(Mariah, the Hoppip, and Oddish all wave goodbye.)
(Jen ends up with a new Pokemon companion, and Mew and her friends learn about the Hoppip and the weather.)
(Most of all, although she can't fly, Oddish has proved that if we work hard to improve the talents you can do, you are able to allow yourself to soar.)
(And so, Mew and her friends will continue traveling through the Johto League to their next destination.)
