(Soon, Brock finally notices one Sunflora who isn't happy.)
(In fact, she looks down in the dumps.)
(Borck happily says.)
Borck: "HEY! A pretty young Sunflora shouldn't look so blue!"
(Brock tries to make funny faces to make Sunflora laugh.)
(Nothing works.)
(Pikachu and the Wild Sunflora try to do the same, but the Sunflora Sonrisa has isn't smiling.)
Mew: "Poor Sunflora, it looks down in the dumps."
(Mew says.)
Jen: "It looks sad."
(Jen says.)
Sonrisa: "That's my prize Sunflora, the one I was planning on entering into the competition tomorrow. But lately it's been so sad."
(Sonrisa says.)
(Then Brock suggests.)
Brock: "Hey! Why don't you let us try and cheer it up for ya?"
Mew: "Yeah, you helped us when we needed some help. The least we can do is to help make your Sunflora smile again!"
(Mew says.)
(Misty likes the idea.)
Misty: "Good idea."
(Even the Pokemon agree.)
(Just then, the Sunflora let out a call and hurry into the greenhouse.)
(The Wild Sunflora follows to be with its friends.)
Misty: "Why are they going back into the greenhouse?"
(Misty asks.)
(Sonrisa answers.)
Sonrisa: "They're just getting ready for the sun to set, Sunflora go to sleep as soon as the sun goes to sleep."
(In the greenhouse, the Sunflora settle down and fall into deep sleep.)
Sonrisa: "Now close your eyes and sleep tight. Pleasant dreams and I'll see you in the morning,"
(Sonrisa says, and closes the door.)
(Later in the night, Mew and the others are walking through town, and the Pokemon are starting to get sleepy.)
Misty: "We're going to have to find a place for OUR beauty sleep."
(Misty says.)
Tomo: "And I could use something to eat."
(Tomo says.)
Jen: "Me too."
(Jen says.)
(Looking at the guide book, Brock says.)
Brock:"Maybe there's a Pokémon Center around here somewhere."
(Moments later, Mew and the others find a Pokemon Center, have something to eat, and later, they all drift into a deep sleep.)
(Meanwhile, Team Rocket have arrived in town and are picking the lock to one of the greenhouses.)
(Soon, James unpicks the lock?)
Meowth: "Beautiful!"
(Meowth whispers.)
(Impressed, Jessie says.)
Jessie: "You're awfully good with locks."
James: "I know how to pick 'em!"
(James says.)
(Team Rocket soon enters the greenhouse, filled with sleeping Sunflora.)
Meowth: "Look at this! There's gotta be a zillion Sunflora in here."
(Meowth says, amazed.)
(Then James says.)
James: "Let's grab as many of them as we can put our hands on!"
Jessie: "Then we'll sell them and make a fortune!"
(Jessie adds.)
(But Meowth says.)
Meowth: "Under normal coicumstances I'd be 100% behind ya on dat idea. But I got someting cooking dats even better!"
(Jessie and James kneel down.)
(Suspicious, Jessie asks.)
Jessie: "What are you planning, Meowth?"
Meowth: "We're gonna enter a Sunflora contest."
(Meowth answers.)
(Jessie asks.)
Jessie: "Why in the world would we do that?"
Meowth: "No reason, cept that the grand prize is a year's supply of instant noodles!"
(Meowth answers.)
(James gasps in surprise while Jessie replies.)
Jessie: "HUH?"
(Then the two say in excitement.)
Jessie and James: "A whole year's supply of instant noodles?!"
(Meowth shushing Jessie and James.)
Meowth: "Hey! Don't wake up dem Sunflora."
(James dreaming about food.)
James: "What would it be like to win those delicious, nutritious instant noodles, Jessie?!"
Jessie: "It'd feel like winning the instant lottery, only with noodles!"
(Jessie excited agrees.)
(Then James says.)
James: "We've got to find a Sunflora that'll win that contest!"
Meowth (grinning): "I got just This thing to help us look!"
(He pulls out a device that looks like a flashlight.)
(Meowth laughing Says.)
Meowth: "A Sunlight Simulator!"
(James eyes wide.)
James: "Ahhhhhh."
(Jessie determined says.)
Jessie: "Let's get to work, Meowth."
(Meowth aiming the device.)
Meowth: "Rise and shine, now!"
(He shines the light on a group of sleeping Sunflora.)
(The Sunflora wake up, smiling.)
(Jessie confused and asked.)
Jessie: "Is it just me, or do all these sappy, smiling Sunflora look the same?"
(James say with confidence.)
James: "Jessie, each one of these Sunflora is different, and their unique characteristics are obvious to a trained observer like me."
(Meowth curiously asked him.)
Meowth: "How do you know so much about Sunflora, Jimmy-Boy?"
(James nostalgically said.)
James: "I learned from the gardener at Grandmama's estate! When I was a tot."
(Meowth excitedly said )
Meowth: "So What you Waiting for? Get on the stick and pick us out our little meal ticket!"
(James analyzing Sunflora one by one.)
James: "Hmmm..."
(Pointing to each Sunflora in turn.)
James: "The leaves on this one are out of proportion with its petals! This one has a nice smile, but its shape leaves something to be desired. This one's physically nice, but it lacks personality.
There's something insincere about this one's smile. This one just doesn't want to win badly enough! You can tell by the look in its eyes!"
(Jessie peering at them.)
Jessie": "I'm afraid every Sunflora looks just like every other Sunflora to me."
Meowth: "They all got that same dopey grin."
(Meowth says as he begins to walk.)
(Meowth accidently trips and bounces sideways, trying to keep his balance.)
(And by accident, he presses his paw at a button which sets off the alarm in the greenhouse.)
(Meowth yelping out.)
Meowth: "HEY! THAT BUTTON JUST RAN INTO MY PAW!"
(An alarm blares.)
(A net falls on Meowth's head, trapping him.)
(Jessie panicked.)
Jessie: "Now what are we supposed to do?!"
(James shouting.)
James: "RUN FOR IT!"
(Jessie and James dash off, leaving Meowth behind.)
Meowth calls out, "Hey guys, where're ya going?!"
(Meowth struggling calls out.)
Meowth: "Hey, guys, where're you going'?!"
(As Jessie and James rush right out, Cyrus spots them.)
(Cyrus calls out.)
Cyrus: "COME BACK HERE! COME BACK HERE, YOU THIEVES!"
(In the Pokemon Center, Mew and the others are soon Awaken by the sound of the alarm and Cyrus screaming.)
(Tomo rubbing eyes asked.)
Tomo: "Did you hear something?"
Mew: "It sounds like an alarm."
(Mew says.)
(Soon, Mew and the others rush to investigate.)
Brock: "What's going on?"
(Brock asks.)
Cyrus: "I heard a bell go off in the greenhouse. And when I came to check it out, I caught this cat-burglar!"
(Cyrus says.)
(He points his flashlight to reveal Meowth who is tied up.)
Meowth: "Is That supposed to be funny?! Because I ain't laughing."
(Meowth says, offended.)
(Mew and the gang reply in shock.)
Mew: "IT'S MEOWTH!"
Meowth: "I can't believe Jessie and James left me there, like I was yesterday's kitty litter!"
(Meowth says, depressed.)
(Suddenly, Mew and Misty then have an idea.)
Misty: "Hey Mew, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
(Misty whispers.)
Mew: "I think so. And it's worth a shot. Let's do it."
(Mew answers.)
(Misty then says to Cyrus.)
Misty: "I beg your pardon, but we have the feeling that this Pokemon is just... an innocent victim. It must have been corrupted by the two who ran away!"
Meowth: "REALLY?"
(Meowth asks, surprised.)
Misty: "If you release it into our custody, we'll make sure it stays out of trouble!"
(Misty says.)
(Cyrus thinks a bit and says.)
Cyrus: "Well, since it didn't actually steal anything, I guess it's okay."
Misty: "Do you really mean it!"
(Misty says happily.)
(Then Mew turns to Meowth.)
Mew: "Say thank you."
Meowth: "Thank you."
(Meowth says, quietly.)
Misty: "Now come along."
(Misty says.)
(With that, Mew and the others take Meowth to the Pokemon Center, and Snubbull unties him.)
Meowth: "Wow. Wait'll Jessie and James hear the twerps sprung me! You losers ain't so bad, after all."
(Meowth says, amazed.)
(But Misty says.)
Misty: "You don't think that we rescued you for nothing?"
(Mew then kneels to Meowth and says.)
Mew: "We were hoping that since we help you, you can help us."
Meowth: "I should?"
(Meowth questions.)
Misty: "And if you don't, you can go back to the greenhouse to stay!"
(Misty sternly says.)
Meowth: "Fine, What do I gotta do?"
(Meowth asks.)
(Snubbull answers.)
Snubbull: "Snub Snubbull Snub Snubbull Snubbull." (We need your help to talk with a Sunflora who's been feeling down.)
Meowth: "A Sunflora?"
(Meowth says, confused.)
