(Meanwhile, Misty and the others, including Miss. Priscilla's class are at the tower, watching the beam sway.)
Brock: "I see what you mean. That beam sways just like a Bellsprout,"
(Brock says.)
Misty: "It's really amazing,"
(Misty says.)
Tomo: "It's pretty cool,"
(Tomo says.)
Jen: "Wow,"
(Jen says, amazed.)
(Outside, Team Rocket lands on the roof of the tower.)
James: "Where are we?"
(James asks.)
(Back inside the tower.)
(Miss Priscilla says.)
Miss Priscilla: "There's another reason why this is called the Sprout Tower."
Brock: "Really? What's that, Miss Priscilla?"
(Brock asks.)
(Miss Priscilla explains.)
Miss Priscilla: "Lots of trainers who come to Violet City are on their way to the Johto League, and they stop here because that swaying beam reminds them of themselves when they were just starting out as Pokemon trainers."
Misty: "I get it! I guess trainers are like sprouts, aren't they?"
(Misty says.)
Miss Priscilla: "Right!"
(Miss Priscilla replies.)
Brock: "That's a good thing to always keep in mind. No matter how experienced a Pokemon Trainer gets, there's always room to grow!"
(Brock says.)
Misty: "Hmm. We both know a certain Pokemon trainer who is always growing and learning,"
(Misty says.)
Brock: "Yeah! We'll tell Mew all about it as soon as she gets here,"
(Brock says.)
(Unknown to them, Team Rocket is spying on them.)
(James says.)
James: "Hear that? The twerp must be on his way over."
Jessie: "That's right. And Pikachu's with him,"
(Jessie says.)
(Then Meowth says.)
Meowth: "Yeah, but we'll take care of dat, won't we?"
(Meanwhile, Mew, Pikachu, Eevee, Chikoirta, Lucario, and Zackie are walking through the woods to get to the Bellsprout.)
(Zackie is looking awkward at his new Bellsprout walking aside.)
(He then turns away from the Bellsprout, not too fond of his new Pokemon.)
(Bellsprout does the same.)
(Zackie angrily screams.)
Zackie: "QUIT COPYING ME!"
(Bellsprout gets surprised to hear it.)
Mew: "Zackie, I know you caught your Bellsprout by accident, but don't you think you ought to try to make the best of it?"
(Mew says.)
(Zackie begins to sulk.)
Zackie: "I wanted Pikachu! Not some wobbly little Bellsprout!"
Mew: "I think it's kind of nice..."
(Mew says.)
(But Zackie complains.)
Zackie: "I WANT PIKACHU!"
(Mew sighs, seeing Zackie is not going to change his mind.)
(Meanwhile, at the tower, Team Rocket sneaks in.)
Meowth: "Okay, first we gotta get outta here!"
(Meowth says.)
James: "Just leave it to me,"
(James says, and calls out his Pokemon.)
James: "Go, Weezing!"
(Then Weezing comes out of the Pokeball.)
(Then James says.)
James: "Smoke em out with your Smokescreen, Weezing!"
(Then Weezing performs its Smokescreen attack, and the smoke travels down to where the group is down below.)
(Misty is the first to notice.)
Misty: "There's smoke coming from upstairs!"
Miss Priscilla: "There must be a fire!"
(Miss Priscilla says.)
(Brock calls out.)
Brock: "Quick!"
(Miss Priscilla calls out.)
Miss Priscilla: "We've gotta round up the children and get them out of here, right away!"
Brock: "Right!"
(Brock says.)
(Soon, everyone begins to evacuate the tower, unknown that this is Team Rocket's work.)
(Meanwhile, still in the woods.)
(Zackie says.)
Zackie: "Hey, I know! How about if I trade you? My Bellsprout, your Pikachu."
Mew: "Nooooo way!"
(Mew denies, instantly.)
(Zackie begins to sob.)
(Then Mew says.)
Mew: "Oh, come on, Zackie. Bellsprout could be really fun."
(Soon, Bellsprout says.)
Bellsprout: "Bellsprout, Bellsprout, Bell! Bell bell, sprout sprout, bell bell, sprout sprout. (I may not be the actual Pokémon that you're after, but I suggest that you at least give me a chance to get to know me.)
Mew: "Bellsporut says that he may not be what you expect, but won'ts you to give him a chance,"
(Mew says.)
(Soon, Bellsprout begins to dance and act funny, making Zackie laugh.)
(Suddenly, Lucario says.)
Lucario: "Mew, the Sprout Tower!"
(Everyone looks to see smoke coming out of the tower.)
Mew: "Oh no!"
(Mew says, shocked.)
Zackie: "The Sprout Tower's on fire!"
(Zackie cries out.)
Mew: "Let's go!"
(Mew says.)
(Then Mew and her Pokemon hurry off.)
Zackie: "Wait for me!"
(Zackie calls out and follows. Bellsprout follows as well.)
(At the tower, everyone is able to evacuate out to safety.)
(And soon, Mew and the others arrive.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Misty, Brock, Tomo, Jen! What's going on?! Are all the kids okay?"
Misty: "Yeah, we're all fine,"
(Misty answers.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "I choose you, Squirtle! Wartortle!"
(And Squirtle and Wartortle come out of their Pokeball.)
(Then Misty calls out.)
Misty: "Poliwag, Golduck, I choose you!"
(And with that, Golduck and Poliwag appear.)
(Mew and Misty call out.)
Mew and Misty: "Use Water Gun!"
(All four launch their attack to put out the fire, nothing happens.)
(Soon, Brock says.)
Brock: "Hey, Mew. I don't think this is just a regular fire."
Misty: "Brock's right, the water isn't helping!"
(Misty says.)
(Then Misty calls back her Pokemon.)
Misty: "Poliwag, Golduck, return."
(And calls them both back in their Pokeball.)
(Soon, Tomo looks up to notice.)
Tomo: "Look up there, on that balcony!"
(And what they see is Team Rocket.)
Jessie: "You've heard the expression where there's smoke there's fire!"
(Jessie says.)
(Then James says.)
James: "Well fire's no match for our Weezing!"
Meowth: "It's sssssmokin'!"
(Meowth adds.)
Mew: "What are you doing in there?!"
(Mew demands.)
(Jessie calls out.)
Jessie: "The Sprout Tower's closed for renovations, but why don't you twerps come in and see what we've done with the place?
(Meowth laughs.)
Meowth: "We've got sometin' inside dat'll send it an' you to da stratosphere!"
(Inside, Arbok, Weezing, and Lickitung are sawing on the support beam, there's a rocket attached to it.)
(Mew and the others rush inside to see what they've done.)
Misty: "Oh no!"
(Misty says, shocked.)
Mew: "Knock it off!"
(Mew says.)
(But Jessie laughs.)
Jessie: "Our Pokemon love a nice piece of timber."
Meowth: "Yeah, and when they get done sawing it, I'll send the whole joint into orbit!"
(Meowth says, and holds out the remote.)
(Miss Priscilla cries out.)
Miss Priscilla: "No! You can't! This tower's very important to our Pokémon students!"
Jessie: "If you want to save the tower, all you have to do is hand over Pikachu and Eevee,"
(Jessie says.)
Mew: "Forget it!"
(Mew refuses.)
Meowth: "Den you can say goodbye to dis tower!"
(Meowth says.)
