A newborn baby slightly opened his eyes just for a second then closed them again.
The soft hum of fluorescent lights filled the quiet room as the door creaked open gently.
A nurse in a pale pink uniform stepped in, her expression kind and practiced. She moved quietly to the crib where the newborn lay swaddled in a light-blue blanket, his chest rising and falling in tiny, steady breaths.
She smiled warmly, checking his vitals with delicate hands. "Strong little guy," she whispered, brushing a finger lightly across his cheek.
With the utmost care, she lifted him into her arms and walked to the bed, where a woman lay propped up against the pillows, her chest rising with slow, tired breaths. Sweat clung to her brow and her long brown hair stuck slightly to her cheeks, but her eyes — warm, honey-colored and gleaming with emotion — lit up the moment she saw her baby.
The nurse gently placed the child into her arms.
Delia Ketchum, despite the fatigue etched into her face, radiated a natural beauty that was impossible to miss. Her features were soft and feminine — high cheekbones, full lips, and long lashes framing those expressive eyes. Her hair, though tousled from labor, flowed down her shoulders in thick waves, giving her a raw, earthy allure.

Held close against her chest, the warmth of her body wrapped around me like a soft flame. Her heartbeat echoed in my ears — steady, strong, comforting. Her scent, a mix of gentle florals and something uniquely hers, flooded my senses. I couldn't fully move, couldn't speak, but somehow… I knew.
This is her.
This is my mother.
It was a strange feeling — being so small, so fragile, yet carrying the full awareness of another life lived. I couldn't lift my head, couldn't form words, but my soul stirred with recognition. Her voice — low, affectionate, trembling with love — reached into something deep inside me.
Delia… Ketchum.
I remembered that Ash's mother was sweet, caring, and fiercely protective. She was beautiful on the screen, sure — but now, here, up close? She was radiant. Exhausted, but still glowing with that natural beauty that made her seem like something out of a dream.
It was a strange feeling being held like that after all I was a orphan before reincarnation.

Sunlight filters gently through sheer curtains.
A warm golden light began to stretch across the nursery floor, slowly creeping up the sides of the crib. The rays, soft and glowing, brushed against the tiny face of a sleeping baby curled in a fluffy blanket.
With a faint squint, the baby's eyelids fluttered—once, then twice. A quiet yawn escaped his little mouth, his hands twitching slightly before balling into tiny fists.
The sunlight danced across his cheeks, warm and gentle, nudging him awake like a mother's whisper.
A baby suddenly opened his eyes.who could it be but our baby mc Ash(Alex).
Ash's eyes slowly opened, glistening slightly under the golden glow. He blinked in slow confusion, the blurry shape of the Pokemon toys above his crib slowly coming into focus—little stars and clouds spinning silently in the morning breeze.
A soft coo slipped from his lips.
'Mmm… it's morning already?'
The faint scent of clean laundry, the distant clatter of someone making breakfast in the kitchen, and the warmth of the sun all wrapped around him like a promise of a peaceful day.
He lay there quietly, blinking at the ceiling as the system softly chimed in his mind. And a interface appeared infront of him.
