Chapter 46 - CH. 46 : Tokyo S-Rank Dungeon Break Pt.?

Min-Jae stood for a moment, about to engage in what was possibly the last fight against the last of the giants, when someone approached from behind.

"Hunter Min-Jae, you're finally here."

A woman's voice.

Min-Jae turned slightly. Two female hunters were walking toward him—one with blonde hair styled in a sleek, fashionable way, and the other with dark hair tied back in a practical ponytail.

The blonde one spoke first, her tone confident and businesslike. "I'm Camille Moreau. S-Rank hunter from France." She gestured toward the woman beside her. "This is Ayaka Tanaka. S-Rank hunter from Japan. We've been waiting for your arrival."

Ayaka gave a polite bow. "It's an honor to meet you, Hunter Min-Jae. We heard about what you did in Jeju Island."

"I see," Min-Jae replied simply, his attention already drifting back toward the giant.

Camille looked him up and down, then tilted her head slightly. "You really walk around wearing a blindfold? How weird." She paused, then added with a smirk, "Do you get more money for doing that?"

Min-Jae ignored her.

Ayaka quickly interjected, speaking in Korean. "The other hunters are on their way. We should wait for them before engaging—"

"If I've taken down twenty-seven of them already," Min-Jae interrupted calmly, "I don't think I'll need help for this one. You two should stay back and watch."

Camille muttered something in French under her breath. "Quel arrogant."

Min-Jae turned his head slightly toward her. "I'm not arrogant. Just realistic."

Camille blinked, clearly surprised. "Wait, you know French?"

"I know many languages," Min-Jae replied evenly.

Camille stared at him for a moment, then let out a short laugh. "Well, that's convenient." She crossed her arms. "Alright, fine. But at least tell them I supported you, okay? I'll get extra payment for that."

Min-Jae gave her a flat look—or at least the impression of one behind his blindfold. "Sure. Whatever."

He turned back toward the giant, which was still standing motionless in front of the gate, watching him.

"Stay back," Min-Jae said over his shoulder. "This won't take long."

He started walking forward.

Camille and Ayaka exchanged glances, then stepped back to a safer distance.

"Is he always like this?" Camille asked quietly.

"I... don't know," Ayaka admitted, watching Min-Jae approach the giant. "But if the rumors are true, we won't need to do anything."

Camille smirked. "Good. Less work for me."

---

Min-Jae closed the distance between himself and the giant, stopping about fifty meters away.

The giant roared again, its massive sword raised high above its head.

Then it charged.

The ground shook with each step, and the air itself seemed to tremble from the sheer force of its movement.

Min-Jae stood still, hands in his pockets.

The giant swung its sword down with devastating force—

And it stopped.

Inches from Min-Jae's head, halted by Infinity.

The shockwave from the impact rippled outward, cracking the ground and sending debris flying in all directions.

But Min-Jae didn't move.

He looked up at the giant calmly.

"Your turn."

Saying that, Min-Jae immediately teleported forward, appearing just above the giant's chest level. He landed a powerful punch square in its chest — a blow strong enough to have severely damaged any of the giants he had taken down before. However, this one didn't even flinch. It didn't move an inch from its spot. Instead, its massive hand began to lower toward Min-Jae. But before it could get close, Min-Jae teleported away, reappearing on the ground a short distance away.

"Hmm… I know it wasn't a Black Flash, but still — it wasn't weak either. Even one of those punches could've hurt the other giants. This one really might be the boss… maybe."

Before he could launch his next attack, the giant made its move. It swung the enormous sword in its hand downward with full force, aiming a devastating slash at Min-Jae.

Min-Jae didn't move from his spot. As the sword came crashing down, it suddenly stopped just short of his body — slowed infinitely, frozen in motion. Still, the sheer power of the swing shattered the ground beneath Min-Jae's feet, tearing apart everything within the massive weapon's range.

"It's definitely strong. If I didn't have Infinity, I'd be toast right now," Min-Jae thought with a smirk. "But I do have Infinity… so bad luck for you."
