Clementine:
"We've already told them to gather in the royal garden in a few hours," Ian said. "We've already made the announcement."
However, it seemed this was the first time anyone had come to speak to them since their Alpha and Luna had disappeared.
"Yeah, no. These people want answers right now. They're scared, panicked, confused—they're completely lost," Leysa explained.
As we reached the front door, we heard them chanting for us.
Almost the entire pack had gathered outside the mansion.
They were calling out to us, asking if we were there to get rid of the monster.
They wanted to know what would happen if we failed, if we angered it, and if it came out and attacked their children.
There was a lot going on.
"Okay, we need to leave right now and head to the royal garden. We can't address them here. They won't be able to hear us," Ian said, still holding my hand tightly.
"Okay then, I know a way to get us out of here."
Of course, Leysa did.
