The four of them heard me cry out as the creature clawed me and slammed me against the wall.

They looked confused so I decided to help them with an explanation.


The moment I finished speaking, one of the building doors swung open, and the drifters rushed out with full force.


"I really don't like this place," Leysa complained as she ran behind us.


"Get into the building on the side, hurry," I shouted.


I reached the building first and pulled the main gate open.


The three of them rushed inside ahead of me, and I followed right after.


We slammed the metal fence shut. I had barely secured it when the drifters threw themselves against it.
