I thought to myself, 'Helping her is just for that thirty thousand dollars.'
I turned off my phone and hurriedly took the elevator down to the third floor. After waiting for a few minutes, I put on an anxious look.
Pushing open the fire exit door, I exclaimed. "Ms. Wilson, I finally found you!"
Tatiana was surprised. "William, how did you know I was here?"
She was too shocked and even forgot to cry.
"Ms. Wilson, why were you crying? And why are you sitting on the ground?" I pretended not to know and asked.
Tatiana flashed a hint of panic, quickly wiping her tears. "No, I just came over to smoke and accidentally fell."
She did smoke, but it was the kind of scented lady's cigarette, imported, costing one hundred dollars per pack.
I pretended to understand. "So that's it!"
Reaching out my hand, I said, "Ms. Wilson, let me help you up."
"Let me rest a bit!" She frowned, her face full of pain.
"Ms. Wilson, where did you hit? Should I help you massage it?"
