"What secrets were hidden between them?"
Just then, Tatiana spoke. "Keep what you heard just now to yourself. If another person finds out, I won't spare you."
I turned around, took off my earphones, and asked in confusion, "Ms. Wilson, did you call me just now?"
She furrowed her brows. "You didn't hear our conversation just now?"
I shook my head. "No, I was listening to music with my earphones on."
I appreciated my quick thinking.
Tatiana relaxed her brows. "I don't care if you really didn't hear it or not. Remember, keep the secret."
I nodded with a smile. "Ms. Wilson, the medicine is running out. I'll go call the nurse."
Leaving the ward, I sighed, disappointed that I didn't hear anything useful this time.
At 8 p.m., I drove Tatiana home.
She tossed me the keys. "Come pick me up at 7 a.m. tomorrow."
I nodded and drove off in the Range Rover.
