Sakura Valentine's POV
It was during one of the days I was sitting and talking with girlfriends, who surrounded me like moths circling a lamp. Their laughter, their chatter, and their endless silly arguments about makeup, boys, and food always filled the air.
Honestly, I loved spending time with them… they were the only reason I could happily spend my time in this school without going insane from boredom. They were loud, dramatic, and ridiculous, but that was exactly what made them feel like home to me.
Everything went as usual, just as it was supposed to… the bell rang, class started, and the girls scattered back to their desks. My maid, Luna, who insisted on following me everywhere, gracefully sat down in front of me, pretending to be just another ordinary student.
As I leaned lazily on my desk, listening to the teacher lecture on equations or whatever... a sudden flicker of movement caught my eye.
