I slowly begin to open my eyes while feeling a heavy weight on my chest, I then rubbed my eyes and open them to my surprise it was Thessia.
She was Laying on my chest fast asleep as I raise my head off the comfortable pillow as I softy push Thessia off my chest.
I take in my surroundings, the window ended up catching my attention, hearing the birds chirping.
It must be morning I said to myself in my head, I must of been unconscious after falling onto the ground last night I said to myself.
While looking at the window seeing the sunrise over the horizon.
I look down at Thessia sleeping with her sword at the end of the bed, I smiled.
She's beautiful sleeping like that I said out loud quietly, as soon as I said that she ended up waking up.
She began sit up, she started to rub her eyes looking at me while I look at her, there was a moment of awkward silence as she hugs me tightly hard to breathe.
She put her hand on my the back of my head while hugging me tightly saying, "I'm glad ur okay"
You were lucky she said, I then respond.
What do you mean lucky? I said to Thessia. As she begins to stop hugging me and backs away.
Thessia then begins to speak in a serious tone she then tells me everything.
Thessia then begins to explain.
You were unconscious and all ur mana was drained from ur soul somehow you were able to live.
Thessia then explains whenever a person has their mana drained from them, they end up dying but somehow you didn't.
it's actually unprecedented that something like that happens she said while looking serious as she comes closer and starts holding my hand tightly.
There was awkward silence in the room nobody saying a word while not making eye contact and staring at the dusty floor.
I have a bunch of thoughts running in my head right now, not even knowing which one to say out loud first, my head becomes overrun with thoughts and questions.
Thessia then begins to speak again, you are currently at the clinic, the doctor had a look at you, ur mana levels were extremely high the doctor told Thessia.
For someone to take all that mana it couldn't have been a normal human, it must of been the work of the Demons she said out loud.
The only people to have high mana powers are the Demon King and the Hero she says to me.
She then looks at me directly and stops holding my hand…
She has a serious look on her face as the room gets darker as clouds start passing by blocking the morning sunlight coming through the window.
She then said....
Are you a Demon somehow yourself? Or the Hero by chance? she said.
As soon as I started to open my mouth the door opens slowly. It was Nyra she looked like she was about to burst out in tears as she drops the bag of apples.
She ran towards me and jumps on me hurting me in the process crying, while Thessia try's to speak over the crying from Nyra she just sits and smiles at me while Nyra hugs me tighter.
I thought you were gonna die said Nyra, don't ever do something like that again dummy, as I replied, I promise it was a one time thing. I didn't even realize that was something going to happen.
As the door was wide open a lady with purple hair walks in wearing a nurse uniform.
Nyra gets off me rubbing her eyes as water is still coming out of them with her eyes red.
The Nurse walked over towards me and stared at me and introduced herself to me.
Hi there she said, I'm Elira the local underground nurse around these parts and this is my clinic I run.
I then said the local underground clinic? Why am here? I said while Confused scratching my head.
They all look at me as kinda worried and nervous.
The awkward silence of the room creeped back in as the only thing you can hear is the birds chirping and the wind blowing against the window.
Elira then starts to speak,
Well the reason you're here is because what happened to you is unusual, these two lovely lady's were going to take you to the local clinic that everyone uses.
But you were still breathing and Nyra over here if you hadn't notice can do magic and can sense magic in someone if they're alive.
Woah you can do that I said out loud to Nyra.
Nyra then responded, yup I can! She said cheerful smiling, it's a specialty of mine.
Anyways back on topic said Elira as she gets the topic back onto me.
You lost all your mana but somehow you were still breathing which was unusual so they took you here and not to raise suspicion.
I then say to Elira, I understand now it's because it's unheard of for someone to still be alive with no mana right?
Elira then says yes indeed while pushing her glasses back up.
The only people that can live with all their mana depleted are Demons, The Hero, Demon King, or people born without mana.
Meaning you're either a Demon or...

So which one are you Elira says as she starts to walk over towards to me even closer, she then gets up in my face.
I then sweat and start to laugh nervously while scratching my head.
So what are you Elira? says again.
If you're a Demon we are gonna have to execute you or jail you for spying on Eastern Continent.
Nyra and Thessia looked worried and scared clearly hoping that I'm not a Demon.
Elira steps back out of my face and begins to walk towards to the door and closes it slowly, as she shuts it she turns around walking towards me slowly with a serious look on her face.
She then says... You have until the count of five to give us an answer, she says firmly.
I look around while hearing Elira count in the background. I breathe in deeply and breathe out slowly as I hear Elira count in the background.
Two....three...four..... As I clinched my fist slamming against the bed, I then said fine you want to know the truth?
Elira and Thessia leaned towards me looking at me with their eyes glowing of curiosity to know the answer about me, Nyra pulled up a chair from the table.
She still looks concerned as ever, about my well being and hoping I'm not a Demon.
The Room darkens in the early morning hours..
As the clouds start to roll in and block the sun, the birds stop chirping and the wind starts to pick up.
As soon as I say "I'm Actually The Hero..." a rain drop hits the window and it starts to pour outside.
All 3 of them looking surprised and confused.
I continue to speak and told them the whole story of how I ended up here.
Thessia then speaks after I told them the whole story to them.
So you were summoned as the Hero but The Demon King got to you...
Nyra then speaks.. but only the courts can summon The Hero..
They all have to be together to summon it so someone did it behind their backs...
Elira as she starts speaking she says.
It makes sense.. The Hero hasn't been summoned yet supposedly that's what The High Courts are saying to the public as the public grows concerned.
What do you mean concerned? I said to Elira.
Elira walks away from the bed and walks towards the window looking out of it as rain drops hit the window.
She then pulls her glasses up, she starts to speak.
Well The Courts know someone is working with the Demon King or their working for their own selfish gain.

I then began to speak, what does the date have to do with anything? I said to Elira confused but curious.
She then speaks.
That's when the summoning was supposed to take place but it didn't.
What most likely happened is that it went on without no interruptions but as they all met together they did the summoning but nobody appeared.
That means that someone already did it because only The Courts have the Power and mana for it...
I then ask another question to Elira, how does someone join the High Courts?
Thessia then began to speak and said "I can answer this".
You have to be born into their family and it's passed down from bloodline every generation will have one person with the gifted god ability to summon people.
Every Kingdom has three of them.
Why only three? I said as my eyes light up in curiosity.
Well it's rare genetic trait passed down from the nobles.
You have to undergo years of training and school just to be able to summon someone.
It can take up to 25 years just to learn the basic knowledge and start using summoning skills.
As I intake all this information I'm confused and don't even know where to begin... I then asked, what are the High Courts?
Elira then steps away from the window while brushing her hair and starts to walk over towards Thessia.
She then pats Thessia's shoulder as Thessia blushes while fidgeting with her fingers.
Elira then says, this person right here should know everything about the High Courts as she smiles lifts her hand off her shoulder.
Hey now yelled Thessia I told you not to tell anyone she said embarrassed and frustrated.
Elira then starts to walk away from Thessia and opens the door slowly while saying this before she leaves.
I think it's better this kid knows, he seems to be telling the truth.
Look at he's clothing compared to ours, he's obviously not from this world and I don't know everything about The High Courts but you do.
Since you were a guard for them at one point even if it was short term said Elira.
She begins to close the door slowly as you hear her footsteps getting quieter as she walks away from the room.
