Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 – The Exiled Berserker: Recruitment Arc VI

In the outskirts of Bhopal, where cracked highways ran through ruins and fallen beasts turned to dust under the weight of time, a man fought a swarm of iron-scaled wyverns with nothing but his fists.

His knuckles bled.

His grin widened.

And every punch sent shockwaves through the air.

Aditya "Rageborn" Malhotra

Soul Weapon: Fleshbound Gauntlets

Class: Close-Range Brawler | High Regeneration | Berserk Trait

Formerly known as the Butcher of Floor 1—exiled from three factions for being too unpredictable.

Now, he was unclaimed, unchained, and, possibly, Ankit's next storm.

🥊 A Guild Built on Challenge

Ankit, Kaido, Riya, and Aanya stood before the arena-like crater Aditya had made while fending off thirty beasts solo.

"I don't join teams," Aditya growled, slinging a wyvern head over his shoulder.

Ankit didn't flinch. "You'll join us."

Aditya scoffed. "Why would I follow anyone weaker than me?"

Ankit calmly stepped forward. "Then test me."

Kaido's jaw dropped. "Ankit—are you sure?"

Riya smirked. "He's doing it again."

Aanya, ever silent, notched an arrow but didn't raise it—yet.

⚔️ Duel of Fire and Will

The fight was short but volcanic.

Aditya charged like a cannonball—each punch splitting the ground. Ankit ducked, parried with his twin talwars, and countered with surgical precision. Aditya healed through damage using his regeneration trait, but Ankit's movement overwhelmed brute force with intelligence.

Then, for the first time, Aditya laughed.

"You're the first to dodge my Rage Chain without blinking."

Soul Art Unleashed: Wildheart Overload

Temporarily doubles strength and pain resistance for 10 seconds. At the cost of defense.

Ankit countered with Twin Edge Form: Dragon Fang Bloom, slicing through his rage-fueled charge and stopping his fists with crossed blades at Aditya's neck.

"Still think I'm weak?"

Aditya panted… and grinned.

"No. I think I finally found a pack worth fighting for."

⚙️ The Shadow in the Tent

That night, as Blackhunt made camp and Aditya helped cook by roasting boar on his gauntlets, Kaido approached Ankit.

"Still no word from Toni?"

Ankit shook his head. "He said he'll arrive after he finishes something."

🎯 Somewhere in Varanasi…

A young man sat calmly atop a rooftop, staring at ten enemy climbers surrounding him. His black overcoat fluttered in the wind. A bow case was strapped to his back.

"You should've studied your exit routes."

The enemies moved in.

He raised his hand—not even reaching for the bow.

Ten mana sigils flared on the ground.

Boom. Boom. Boom.

None of them even touched him.

"Phase 7 complete," he said, writing calmly in a notebook. "Ankit, the groundwork's done. I'll join you soon."
