Back in the study room...
Mu hoa stood frozen in the study room, his neck slick with sweat as Lui Chen's piercing gaze bore into him. The air was thick with tension. Mu hoa's eyes remained fixed on the floor, his head bowed in submission, as the silence between them stretched out like an eternity.
After a long time Lui chen finally opened his mouth to speak, "what has she been up to" he asked after ruminating for a while, he had been quiet for so long because he didn't know what to say, after much thinking he decided on that.
My hoa licked his dried lips, calming herself down he opened his mouth reporting all her activities, from the day she left the hospital till this day.
Lui chen frowned hearing what he said, although he had made research about her, he wasn't this conclusive and had only scratched the surface, he didn't go as far as where she lived and what she did on daily basis.
'She had visited an abandoned company building?, hat was she planning to do' he voiced out in his head with a deep frown.
He was scared to his witt seeing the frown on his bosses face, 'had he said something wrong' he thought scratching his head nervously.
The room fell into another long silence with Lui chen lost in thought.
"You can leave" Lui chen said finally breaking the suffocating silence, Mu hoa spunned around, scurrying out of the room, he ran for his dear life.

Taking out his phone, Lui chen dialed an unknown number and waited for him to pick, after ringing for a while the person on the other side finally picked.
Lui chen opened his mouth giving some instructions to the other person before hanging up, falling back unto the chair with his eyes closed, he sat there lost in thought.
"Li yunxi his wife, interesting..." he thought his eyes still closed.

The rays from the sun disrupted Li yinxun peaceful sleep, blocking the sun with her hand she turned to the bed side table picking up her phone, she checked the time.
"9:32.. how could I sleep for so long" she complained in her heart standing up from the bed, she walked to the toilet freshening up then headed downstairs.
On getting to the living room she realized it was empty, she only saw a few maids dusting the couch while some others doing different chores, not being a shy person she walked straight to the dining table only replying 'hmm' occasionally to whoever greeted her.
On getting to the dining table she sat there and watched the butler walk up to her, "good morning miss Li, are you ready to eat, should I serve you breakfast" the butler asked respectfully with his head slightly bowed.
"Yes.. but first of all, your master..." she paused not knowing how to continue .
"Ohh young master Lui went out to early, he said he would only be back late, that you should take care without him" the butler replied raising his head up slightly, looking at her expression to see if he could get any emotion from her, but her face remained emotionless, the Butler sighed in his heart 'what kind of woman had his master gotten married to' he thought still looking at her.
She made an O gesture with her mouth gesturing for him to leave before going back to what she wanted to do, taking out her phone, she browsed through the Internet checking the entertainment news, since she had decided to enter the entertainment industry once again she had to be up to date with this thought, she kept scrolling down but she couldn't find anything interesting so she put down her phone and coincidentally the butler came back with a tray of food, alongside him were two maids who had a haughty look on their facs, and as soon as they reached the table they began serving the dishes.
Li yunxi salivated at the sight of such yummy delicacies, she didn't even wait for all the dishes to be placed on the table before diving into the food, before her were some, steaming congee,steamed buns,egg tart,youtioa and soy milk.
She ate them all with relish not stopping until the last drop of soy milk entered her mouth, after finishing her food she stood up and left the dining table leaving the disgusted maids and butler behind, she headed upstairs to her room.
Back in the dining table, the trio face contorted in disgust, working for the prestigious Lui family for so long they had gotten used to seeing sophisticated people around but now seeing such an uncultured and vulgar person with the title of their mistress they felt utterly repulsive at the thought.
'Had their master really married such a woman? how can she be so crude, she lacked the basic manerism, she was in no way suitable for their master' they thought in their heart packing the plates and returning to the kitchen.
Back in the room, Li yunxi smiled at herself knowing fully well what she had done, she had long noticed the dislike the maids had for her, she didn't know why but from the first day she walked into the house, she had always felt they looked at her with repulse, like they looked down on her and she being her kind of person would never prove herself to anyone, in contrast she would do what they hated and let them suffer in their agony of hatred.
And that was exactly what she had just done, 'they disliked her? sure' she thought with a sly smile on her face.
