Shu Yan's face turned ugly as she was mocked. "Shen Mu! How dare you talk to me like that!"
Shen Mu raised an eyebrow. "Why not? Can't someone from your family's ancestors crawl out of their graves and strangle me?"
As he spoke, Shen Mu seemed to imagine a scene and chuckled. "The Shu family is high-born, even if someone crawls out of their ancestors' graves, they're probably high and mighty, just like you, right?"
However, this remark made Shu Yan's face change slightly, and she gritted her teeth and said, "Shen Mu, stop arguing here. The Shu family is not something you can talk nonsense about!"
Shen Mu chuckled lightly and said, "Shu Yan, what are you nervous about?"
Shu Yan was taken aback and became angry and embarrassed. "Where am I nervous? You're talking nonsense!"
Shen Mu stared at Shu Yan's eyes, and the meaning of his scrutiny was too obvious, with a hint of oppression, forcing Shu Yan to unconsciously turn her eyes away.
Shen Mu asked, "What are you hiding from?"
