Shen Mu spent a good part of her day in Xiao Xiang Xuan and finally managed to make a plate of beef and scrambled eggs that looked barely passable. She picked up her chopsticks, took a bite, and nodded in satisfaction. "It's good!" she said.
Shen Mu wasn't particularly picky about food. When she was on a mission, she ate whatever was available, so anything that was barely passable tasted good to her.
After leaving Xiao Xiang Xuan, Shen Mu met up with Cheng Yuan at the artist apartment building and the two of them went to Tang Yu's villa together. When they entered, Tang Yu was playing a video game in the living room, and the sound of intense fighting filled the air.
"Let him finish the game, and we'll sit for a while," Shen Mu said.
Cheng Yuan obediently sat down, and Shen Mu asked, "What do you want to drink? Juice?"
Cheng Yuan nodded and watched as Shen Mu walked into the kitchen with ease, rummaged through the refrigerator for fresh juice, and poured her a glass.
