Chapter 119 - Chapter 119: I'll Take It All!

In just a moment, Qingque seemed to have grasped the message's contents. Trembling slightly, she tapped it open and began reading.

[Fu Xuan: Qingque, I know what's on your mind.]

[Fu Xuan: I am still the Master Diviner of the Divination Commission, merely temporarily serving as the General of the Luofu. Whether you want to obey my orders or not, you will obey them! No disobedience allowed!]

[Fu Xuan: As long as I remain the Master Diviner, I will be your superior! You must carry out my commands!]

[Fu Xuan: Even if I later become the General of the Seat of Divine Foresight, you must still obey my orders!]

Qingque: ...

Reading these messages, the corner of Qingque's mouth twitched slightly.

Seriously, Master Diviner? Are you channeling those overbearing CEOs from those cheesy dramas...?

Qingque silently grumbled to herself, but her fingers moved with undeniable sincerity.

With a soft tap on the screen, she sent two words back:

[Understood.]

[Qingque:Once a leader, always a leader! Master Diviner, you'll always be my leader, regardless of rank or status!]

[Qingque:Don't worry, Master Diviner! I'll complete the task you've entrusted to me perfectly!]

Sigh... After sending those messages, Qingque put away her phone, sighed softly, and turned her gaze to Lumina. "Lady Lumina, from now on, I'll be your guide on the Luofu."

Although this mission came directly from the Master Diviner herself, Qingque could also treat it as a paid vacation.

Sure, she'd seen most of the Luofu's scenery before, but there's no harm in seeing it again... right?

The only real concern now was whether the Master Diviner would reimburse all her expenses for this "guide" job.

If this turned out to be a fully paid trip, it would be absolutely fantastic.

"General Fu Xuan will be covering all our expenses for the entire trip, by the way."

Qingque's thoughts were as transparent as glass, and Lumina saw right through her. She smiled and asked, "Really? Even me?"

Qingque's eyes lit up instantly, but she still cautiously asked, "Are you sure? Including me?"

If I'm not included in this 'tab,' and I've already bought so much... I'll be bankrupt and ruined!

Then I'll have no choice but to knock on the Master Diviner's door in the middle of the night and beg for help...

"Whether you're included or not, as long as we don't say anything, can General Fu Xuan really deny the bill?" Lumina smiled at Qingque, hinting subtly.

"Good point, good point," Qingque nodded, a knowing smile spreading across her face. She glanced around before asking Lumina and the others, "There are many scenic spots on the Luofu. Is there anywhere in particular you'd like to visit? I can take you there first."

"Rather than sightseeing, I have a better suggestion right now." Hearing Qingque's offer, Lumina waved her hand, ready to propose an alternative.

"Mhm, go ahead," Qingque nodded, gesturing for Lumina to continue. "As our guide, I'll follow your suggestions."

"Since General Fu Xuan is covering all our expenses for this trip... and we happen to be on the most bustling street in the Luofu, the Central Starskiff Haven..." A cryptic smile crept across Lumina's face.

"Wouldn't it be a little... rude not to buy our friends a 'little' something?"

Lumina glanced at the shops lining the Central Starskiff Haven, then looked meaningfully at the group, dropping a pointed hint.

"Ooh, Sister Lumina, that shop looks so pretty! Should we check it out first?"

Even the usually clueless March 7th instantly grasped the hint. She slapped her forehead, pointed to an obviously expensive shop, and declared, "Sure, let's go take a look and pick up some souvenirs while we're at it!"

Hearing this, Lumina's smile widened. Without hesitation, she led the group straight into the shop...

"Welcome! How may I assist you?"

As the group entered the shop, a polite Foxian lady greeted them respectfully.

"This is a clothing store, right?" March 7th asked, her voice tinged with slight disappointment as she gazed at the dazzling array of colorful garments.

Maybe in March 7th's eyes, it's just clothes. How expensive could they be?

Lumina, noticing March 7th's changing expression, smiled and pointed to a price tag on a garment. "March, look at that price tag."

"Price tag? What price tag?" March 7th asked, confused at first, then followed Lumina's gaze.

"Hmm... Ah?!" March 7th squinted at the tag, studied it carefully, and then gasped in shock.

"Two... two thousand Strale?!"

March 7th was instantly stunned. Is this even a reasonable price for a piece of clothing?

If March 7th's calculations were correct, one Strale was equivalent to two thousand Credit Points...

That meant this single garment cost a staggering four hundred thousand Credit Points?!

"See? Never underestimate anything," Lumina said with a smile, observing March 7th's stunned reaction. "Even an unremarkable stone by the roadside might be worth hundreds of billions of Credit Points."

"Indeed, my lady," a graceful Foxian woman appeared beside them. "Many believe our garments are merely beautiful on the surface, but each piece is crafted from the finest silks."

Sensing their attention, the Foxian woman smiled gently and introduced herself: "Greetings, my lady. I am the shopkeeper. Is there anything I can assist you with?"

"For example, I can explain the materials of the fabrics, the best pairings for each outfit, and so on, to you in detail, Lady Lumina."

"There's no need for explanations." Lumina shook her head, her gaze sweeping over the racks of clothing in the shop.

A faint smile played on her lips as she gestured with a sweeping hand. "These are all excellent garments, made from the finest materials."

"Lady Lumina has truly discerning taste!" The Shopkeeper's eyes lit up instantly, sensing a lucrative sale on the horizon.

"Alas... but these prices seem somewhat unworthy of their quality." Lumina shook her head again, sighing softly as she lowered her gaze, lost in thought.

"If you're genuinely interested, Lady Lumina, I can offer you a 10% discount on one item, 20% off three items, or 30% off ten items. How does that sound?"

"No need for such trouble," Lumina replied, raising an eyebrow and waving her hand dismissively.

"I'll take them all—at full price!"
