The next morning, Lincoln and the other boys were heading to where Angewomon was resting while most of them carried part of a delicious breakfast.
"I hope Angewomon likes the pancakes I prepared for her." Lincoln says with a blush.
"No way, she'll love my muffins more." Clyde says in response.
"Nah, she'll like my fresh milk more." said Liam.
"Not as much as my golden brown toast." said Zach.
"She'll like what I'm bringing." said Rusty.
"You don't have anything." said Clyde.
"Of course I do." said Rusty. "The pleasure of my company."
"Why would she want that?" asked Liam.
"Better than milk with dirt in it." Rusty replied.
"There's no dirt in my milk." Liam says in response.
"Oh, really?" Rusty replied before he scoops a little bit of dirt out of a nearby garden and sprinkles it into the beverage.
"That was mighty dastardly, Rusty!" said Liam before he pours the ruined milk onto his friend/rival's head.
"My hair!" shouts Rusty before he takes Lincoln's pancakes and smushes them in Liam's face.
"Hey!" shouted Lincoln before he grabs Clyde's muffins and begins throwing them at Rusty.
"My muffins!" shouted Clyde before he grabs Zach's toast and throws it at Lincoln.
"Hey!" shouts Zach before he and the other boys got into a fight cloud.
Just then, the girls and Jijimon were walking down the road the boys were on and sees the brawl going on.
"What are they doing?" asked Lori.
"Fighting without me!" shouts Lynn Jr before she goes into the fight cloud and joins the rumble; a few seconds later, the boys were exhausted and piled on one another with Lynn standing on them.
"Why are you fighting?" Lori asked the boys.
"Does this have anything to do with Angewomon?" asked Lola.
"Maybe." the boys say in unison.
"You can stop now; she headed back to Seraphimon's sanctuary about an hour ago." said Luan.
"WHAT?!" the boys replied.
"Yeah, she had to report to Seraphimon." said Luna. "And she said to tell you boys that she appreciated what you did for her."
"She appreciated us." Clyde said with a goofy smile on his face.
"So what are we gonna do now?" asked Lana.
"I got some news from our field scouts." said Jijimon.
"What?" asked Lincoln.
"They located the final pillar." said Jijimon.
"Where is it?" asked Clyde.
"In the ruins of Faulty Ex Machina." said Jijimon.
"Let's take that thing down!" said Luna.
"One other thing." said Jijimon. "Scouts also reported that VolcanicDramon is there with what could be the last of his group's forces."
"So we'll all go there." said Lori.
"And put an end to this once and for all." said Lincoln.
"Wait a minute." said Clyde. "Once we destroy the pillar, how do we get home when it starts closing?"
"What about that rift in Seraphimon's place?" asked Liam.
"You're not gonna go there just to see Angewomon are you?" asked Lola; getting eyerolls from the boys in response.
"Let's just focus on getting to the last pillar." said Lincoln.
"Grab some supplies for the journey." said Lori.
"Okay." everyone else says in response.
As they all head for the business district to grab some stuff for the trip, Lincoln looks around at everything.
"Floatia sure has changed a lot since our first time here." said Lincoln.
"It's definitely a lot bigger that's for sure." said Zach.
"And with more buildings." said Clyde.
"Yeah, before there was just Jijimon's house, the training facility, and an outhouse." said Stella.
"The garden's way bigger now." said Liam.
"We should stop by there and get some fruit and vegetables also." suggested Gaomon.
"Good idea." said Agumon.
"Still can't believe that meat grows out of the ground here." said Lynn. "Not that I'm complaining about that."
"I'm still astounded that an entire world exists in cyberspace." said Lisa.
"And we have that processor you invented to thank for bringing me and my friends here." said Lincoln.
"Good thing it did." said Stella. "Otherwise, we wouldn't have stood a chance when Titamon came to our world."
After everyone got food and water for the trip, they all meet at the front gate.
"Ready, everyone?" Lori asked the rest of the group and their Digimon partners.
"You bet, Lori." said Pteromon.
"Let's move out!" said Pulsemon.
"Right behind you." said Bearmon as Lily was riding on his back.
The group soon reaches the Nigh Plains and began to make their way to Faulty Ex Machina; as they walk by a familiar charred spot, Clyde remembers what caused it.
"This is where me, Lincoln, Rusty, Zach, Liam, and Stella, appeared when he first came to the Digital World." said Clyde.
"And where our partners' DigiEggs were made." said Lincoln.
"Come on, enough trips down Memory Lane." said Lynn.
"Fine." said Lincoln.
"Hey, where's Rusty?" asked Clyde; everyone looks around to see the redhead sneaking towards the path to Server Desert.
"What's he doing?" asked Luan.
"He's trying to see Angewomon!" said Zach.
"First one to beat him up and drag him back over to us gets my allowance for a month!" said Lincoln.
"On it!" shouts Lynn as she runs at Rusty and tackles him from behind before another fight cloud ensues.
"That'll teach him." said Zach.
"Like the rest of you boys wouldn't have tried the same thing?" Stella asked the boys.
"Touche." Clyde replied; Lynn drags Rusty back over to them and they all continue on their way.
The group soon arrives in MOD Cape, where Lucy takes in the dark and gloomy atmosphere.
"Not quite the graveyard, but it's almost as nice." said Lucy.
"Remember when I found my artifact here?" asked Clyde.
"Yeah, and MetalTyrannomon tried blowing us away." said Zach.
"We were lucky to escape with our lives." said Rusty.
"Let's just get going." said Lori.
"Can't we stay a little longer?" asked Lucy.
"No!" said Lori.
"Sigh; fine." Lucy replied.
The group continues on until they decide to stop for a lunch break; as they ate, they go over memories of their adventures.
"What's your favorite memory of this place?" Leni asked Lincoln and his friends.
"I'll bet for the boys it's meeting Angewomon." said Luan with a smirk.
"We will not deny that." said Clyde with a goofy smile and blush on his face.
"I remember our partners' first battles against those Goblimon." said Clyde.
"Yeah, showed them not to mess with the Rustman." said Rusty as he flexes his arms.
"Get over yourself, Spokes." Lynn said before she flexes her own arms, showing muscles that made Rusty feel insecure.
"I remember when Agumon first Digivolved into GeoGreymon during our battle with Ogremon." said Lincoln.
"I remember when Gaomon first Digivolved into Gaogamon." said Clyde.
"We all remember our partners' first Digivolutions." said Stella.
"And when we first got our artifacts." said Zach as he looks at the device on his wrist.
"And when Seraphimon gave them the ability to Digivolve our partners to their Mega Levels." said Clyde.
"That was after we met Angewomon." Rusty says as he and his male friends smile goofily at the mention of the angelic Digimon.
"I remember when we first met Titamon." said Lincoln with fear in his voice.
"Blew all our partners away at once just by swinging that huge sword of his." said Liam.
"It was so big it has its own area code." said Stella.
"At least we won't have to deal with him anymore." said Clyde.
"Remember when we got our Digimon partners?" Lori asked her sisters.
"Yeah." said Lana as she looks at Betamon while rubbing his head.
"I remember when Dracmon became Myotismon." Lucy says with a blush.
"Bulkmon was so buff!" said Lynn as she looks at Pulsemon.
"Piddomon was, totes, hot." Leni says with a goofy smile.
"All the girls in Lisa's safe zone felt the same way." said Luna.
"Same way with Leomon." said Lola.
"We should hurry and finish nourishing ourselves so we may proceed to the final pillar." said Lisa.
Once everyone was fed and rested, they all continue on until they finally reach the crater that was one Faulty Ex Machina.
"This place is a dump." said Lynn.
"Was it always like this?" asked Luna.
"No." said Lincoln. "It was full of factories that made a lot of smog."
"At least there's no more pollution here." said Clyde.
"Perhaps, but I would've wanted to examine all the technology here." said Lisa.
"Well, blame MetalTyrannomon for that." said Zach. "He left us no choice but to battle it, which caused him to explode and destroy everything."
"That was when Golemon first became Meteormon, right?" Liam asked his friend.
"Yeah." said Zach as he thinks back to his partner's first time Digivolving to Ultimate.
"Hey, guys; look over there!" said Lincoln as he points towards something in front of the group, making everyone else look to see the final pillar letting out an energy stream that was holding the hole between the Digital and human worlds open.
"The last pillar!" said Clyde.
"Yeah, but look what else is there." said Lynn, making everyone notice the large army of Digimon standing in front of it, with Volcanicdramon perched on top of the pillar.
"Is that Volcanicdramon over there?" asked Lincoln; Clyde points his artifact at the evil Digimon.
"Yeah, that's Volanicdramon." said Clyde. "Mega Level, Earth Dragon Type, Virus Attribute; special attack is Volcanic Flare."
"You humans have interfered long enough!" Volcanicdramon says to the kids. "You have destroyed my comrades and their pillars. I shall destroy all of you and take over both worlds myself!"
"Not if we have anything to say about it!" said Lincoln as he holds out his artifact.
"Ready, everybody?" Clyde asked.
"Do you even have to ask?" Rusty replied before he and everyone else held out their artifacts and push buttons on them.
"Agumon... Warp Digivolve to..." Agumon says as he turns to GeoGreymon, then RizeGreymon, and finally...
"VICTORYGREYMON!" shouts VictoryGreymon.
"Gaomon... Warp Digivolve to..." Gaomon says as he turns into Gaogamon, then MachGaogamon, and finally...
"...MIRAGEGAOGAMON!" shouts MirageGaogamon.

"...ARKHAIANGEMON!" shouts ArkhaiAngemon.
"Impmon, Digivolve to..." said Impmon as he kept spinning until he became Punkmon.
"...PUNKMON!" shouts Punkmon. "Punkmon, Digivolve to..." Purple smoke and fire spiraled around Punkmon. They soon dispersed, revealing Loudmon.
"...LOUDMON!" shouts Loudmon.
"Palmon, Digivolve to..." said Palmon as she kept spinning until she became Togemon.
"...TOGEMON!" shouts Togemon. "Togemon, Digivolve to..." She began to grow while bark formed around her; she soon became Cherrymon.

"Pulsemon, Digivolve to..." said Pulsemon as he continued to spin until he became Bulkmon.
"...BULKMON!" shouts Bulkmon. "Bulkmon, Digivolve to..." Electricity consumed Bulkmon; the electricity dispersed, revealing Boutmon.

"...DINOHYUMON!" shouts Dinohyumon. "Dinohyumon, Digivolve to..." A green fiery serpentine dragon circles Dinohyumon; the serpent dispersed, revealing Hisyaryumon.

"Cutemon, Digivolve to..." said Cutemon as she spins around until she became Unimon.
"...UNIMON!" shouts Unimon. "Unimon, Digivolve to..." White flames consumed Unimon; the flames soon dispersed, revealing Hippogriffomon.
"...HIPPOGRIFFOMON!" shouts Hippogriffomon.
"Fanbeemon, Digivolve to..." said Fanbeemon as he continued to spin until he became Forgebeemon.
"...FORGEBEEMON!" shouts Forgebeemon. "Forgebeemon, Digivolve to..." Glowing blue hexagons appeared and formed a spinning pillar around Forgebeemon; the pillar breaks bursts apart, revealing Vespamon.
"...VESPAMON!" shouts Vespamon.
"Bearmon, Digivolve to..." said Bearmon as he continued to spin around until he became Grizzlymon.
"Grizzlymon!" shouts Grizzlymon. "Grizzlymon, Digivolve to..." Long strips of white and black cloth surround Grizzlymon; the clothes burst apart, revealing Pandamon.
"...PANDAMON!" shouts Pandamon.
"This is it, guys." said Lincoln. The groups partner Digimon faced VolcanicDramon and his forces.
