Zach, Liam, Leni, Luan, and their partner Digimon are walking through the Ohguino Wastelands on their way to the Bony Resort where the source of one of the streams of energy that is keeping the opening between the human world and the Digital World from closing is located.
"How do you think the others are doing?" asked Leni.
"You think they made it to Cape MOD?" asked Luan.
"Not sure; I hope they took care of whatever is making that energy stream that's keeping that huge hole leading to our world from closing." replied Zach.
"You think Floatia's doing okay, too?" asked Liam.
"Eight of us are still there, so it is defended in case of another attack." replied Zach.
"I hope so." replied Luan.
"I'm sure they're fine, Luan." said Palmon.
"We must believe they can keep Floatia safe by the time we return." said Luxmon.
"You're, like, so right, Luxmon." said Leni.
"I just hope some ornery Digimon don't show around here." said Liam.
"Unfortunately for you, humans, you've got some ornery Digimon up here!" the group hears someone shout from above. They look up to see a red, humanoid Digimon with horns sticking out of its forehead, bat wings sticking out of its back, dressed in black while holding a red trident; the Digimon had several Devidramons hovering around it.
"That Digimon looks more 'hornery' than ornery." said Luan, pointing at the trident wielding Digimon. "Ha, ha, ha; get it?"
"Yes; it wasn't funny." replied the horned Digimon.
"Everyone's a critic, or criticmon; ha, ha, ha." said Luan, making everyone, even the horned Digimon moan.
"Okay, I know those Digimon are Devidramons, but what's that Digimon with them?" asked Luan. Liam holds out his artifact towards the trident wielding Digimon.
"That there's Phelesmon." said Liam. "Ultimate Level, Fallen Angel Type, Virus Attribute; special attack, Black Statue."
"You humans are not going to close the opening to your world!" shouts the Digimon, now identified as Phelesmon.
"What makes you think we can't?" asked Zach.
"Because you won't be around to do so!" replied Phelesmon. "Devidramons, destroy them!" The Devidramons fly towards the group.
"Let's do this!" said Zach as he holds up his artifact, prompting Liam, Leni, and Luan to do the same. They push a button on their artifacts and their partner Digimon begin spinning.
"Kudamon, Digivolve to..." said Kudamon as he kept spinning until he became Reppamon.
"...REPPAMON!" shouts Reppamon.
"Gotsumon, Digivolve to..." said Gotsumon as he continued spinning until he became Golemon.
"...GOLEMON!" shouts Golemon.
"Palmon, Digivolve to..." said Palmon as she kept spinning until she became Togemon.
"...TOGEMON!" shouts Togemon.
"Luxmon, Digivolve to..." said Luxmon as he continued to spin until he became Piddomon.
"...PIDDOMON!" shouts Piddomon. The Champion partner Digimon charged at the oncoming Devidramons.
"Crimson Claw!" shouts a Devidramon as it swings its claws at Reppamon; he jumps up, dodging the attack.
"Lion Claw!" shouts Reppamon. He comes down towards the Devidramon and wildly claws the Devidramon, making it disintegrate.
"Dark Gale!" shouts another Devidramon as it swings its arms, releasing a wave of black wind from them at Reppamon.
"Rolling Tackle!" shouts Reppamon as he does an aerial somersault towards the Devidramon, cutting through its attack, and slashes it, making it disintegrate.
"Hoo-ee; you showed those varmints not to mess with you!" said Liam.
Two more Devidramons flew towards Golemon.
"Dark Gale!" shouts a Devidramon as it swings its arms, releasing a dark wave of wind at Golemon; he shields himself with his arms, blocking the attack.
"Powerful Punch!" shouts Golemon as he charges at the Devidramon while energy surrounded his fist and he punches through Devidramon's chest, making it disintegrate.
"Crimson Claw!" shouts another Devidramon as it swings its claws at Golemon, but he grabs its wrist, stopping the attack.
"Sulfur Plume!" shouts Golemon as he opens his mouth and releases a wave of gas from his mouth onto the Devidramon, making it disintegrate.
"Go, Golemon!" cheered Zach.
Two Devidramon were flying towards Togemon.
"Dark Gale!" shouts a Devidramon as it swings its arms, releasing a wave of black wind towards Togemon; she jumps aside, dodging the attack.
"Needle Spray!" shouts Togemon before firing needles out of her body at the Devidramon; the needles pierce through Devidramon, making it disintegrate.
"Crimson Claw!" shouts another Devidramon as it flew towards Togemon with its claws raised.
"Lightspeed Jabbing!" shouts Togemon before she rapidly punches Devidramon before delivering an uppercut that knocks it to the ground before it disintegrated.
"Way to give that Devidramon the old one, two...hundred; ha, ha, ha." said Luan.
The two remaining Devidramon flew towards Piddomon.
"Red Eye!" shouts one of the Devidramon as its eyes began to glow red.
"Piddo Speed!" shouts Piddomon as he flies at the Devidramon with incredible speed and strikes it with his staff before it can unleash its attack, making it disintegrate.
"Dark Gale!" shouts the last Devidramon as it swings its arms at Piddomon, releasing a wave of black wind from them at Piddomon; he flies up, dodging the attack.
"Apollo Tornado!" shouts Piddomon as his staff becomes surrounded by fire; he spins towards Devidramon and strikes it with his staff, making it disintegrate.
"Yay, Piddomon!" cheered Leni.
"Looks like I'll have to destroy you all myself!" shouts Phelesmon.
"You fellers thinking what I'm thinking?" Liam asked Zach and Luan as he holds up his artifact. Zach and Liam nod before holding up their artifact; they begin to glow brightly and a button on their artifacts glow. Liam, Zach, and Luan push the glowing buttons and their partner Digimon begins to spin.
"Golemon, Digivolve to..." said Golemon. He began spinning faster while glowing; when he stopped, he was now Meteormon.
"...METEORMON!" shouts Meteormon.
"Reppamon, Digivolve to..." said Reppamon as he continued to spin. A cyclone of light surrounds Reppamon; when the cyclone breaks apart, he was now Chirinmon.
"...CHIRINMON!" shouts Chirinmon.
"Togemon, Digivolve to..." said Togemon as she continued to spin. She begins to grow and tree bark forms on her while leaves grow on top of her. When she stopped spinning, she was now Cherrymon.
"...CHERRYMON!" shouts Cherrymon. Phelesmon flies towards the partner Digimon.
"Apollo Tornado!" shouts Piddomon as his staff becomes covered in fire and he spins towards Phelesmon and swings his staff at it. Phelesmon blocks Piddomon's staff with his trident. Phelesmon drives his knee into Piddomon's gut, then strikes him with his trident, making him crash onto the ground.
"Are you okay, Phelesmon?" Leni asked her partner Digimon.
"I'm fine, Leni; thank you for your concern." replied Piddomon as he gets up, making Leni smile in repsonse.
"You can't do that to our pal!" shouts Cherrymon.
"I just did you oversized sapling!" replied Phelesmon.
"Oh yeah?!" replied Cherrymon. "Vine Attack!" Vines come out of Cherrymon at Phelesmon; he knocks the vines aside with his trident. "Cherry Bomb!" Cherrymon shoots cherries out from the top of her at Phelesmon; he bats some of them away with his trident, but some hits him, knocking him back. Phelesmon glares at Cherrymon.
"Phelesmon doesn't seem to have a cherry personality." said Luan. "Ha, ha, ha; get it?" Phelesmon glares at Cherrymon and aims his trident at her.
"Black Statue!" shouts Phelesmon. Black beams shoot out of Phelesmon's trident and they hit Cherrymon; she turns to stone.
"Luna would call Cherrymon a rockin' Digimon; ha, ha, ha." said Luan. "But seriously; Cherrymon!" Chirinmon flies up into the air and looks down at Phelesmon.
"Holy Wave!" shouts Chirinmon as it releases a wave of light from his wings at Phelemon; he flies down, dodging the light wave. "Wind Cutter Sword!" Chirinmon flies at Phelesmon with his horn out towards him. Phelesmon flies to the side to dodge, but Chirinmon grazes the side of him, making him recoil. Phelesmon glares at Chirinmon and flies at him; Phelesmon strikes Chirinmon with his trident, knocking him to the ground.
"Black Statue!" shouts Phelesmon as he fires black beams of energy out of his trident and they hit Chirinmon, turning him to stone.
"Chirinmon!" shouts Liam.
"Big Bang Blow!" shouts Meteormon as he leaps at Phelesmon and swings a fist at him, punching him and knocking him back. "Galactic Flare!" Meteormon raises his arms and a portal appears in the air; meteors rain out of the portal at Phelesmon, but he flies around, dodging each meteor. Phelesmon swings his trident at Meteormon, hitting him, and knocking him onto the ground.
"Black Statue!" shouts Phelesmon. He releases black beams of energy from his trident and they hit Meteormon, turning him to stone.
"Man, this is not good." said Zach.
"Now to turn your partner Digimon to rubble!" shouts Phelesmon before he flies towards the petrified partner Digimon.
"Piddo Speed!" shouts Piddomon as he flies at Phelesmon with incredible speed and strikes him with his staff, knocking Phelesmon back.
"How dare you strike me!" shouts Phelesmon.
"I will do as I must to protect my allies." protect Piddomon.
"Worry about protecting yourself!" shouts Phelesmon before he flies at Piddomon and swings his trident at him; Piddomon blocks it with his staff. He swings his staff down at Phelesmon, but he blocks Piddomon's staff with his trident. Phelesmon thrusts his trident at Piddomon, but he blocks it with his staff. Piddomon forces Phelesmon back; he flies at Piddomon and tries to thurst his trident into him, but he flies up into the air, dodging Phelesmon's trident.
"Fire Feather!" shouts Piddomon as he releases fiery feathers from his wings that hits Phelemon, knocking him down towards the ground, but stops in mid-air before hitting the ground.
"Yay, Piddomon." cheered Leni. Piddomon flies down in front of Phelesmon.
"Surrender, Phelesmon, and I may spare you." said Piddomon.
"Here's my response; Demon's Shout!" shouts Phelesmon as he lets out a loud scream, releasing soundwaves onto Piddomon. He drops his staff while covering his head while screaming.
"Piddomon!" shouts Leni. Piddomon drops to the ground; he falls on his knees while Phelesmon continued screaming at him. Phelesmon lands on his feet in front of Piddomon; he looks up to see Phelesmon with his trident back. Phelesmon thrusts its trident at Piddmon; he jumps to the side, but the trident grazed his side, causing Piddomon to fall to the ground while holding his side.
"Don't give up, Piddomon!" shouts Leni.
"Yeah, you're the only one who can still fight." said Zach. Phelesmon thrusts his trident at Piddmon, but he grabs his staff and blocks Phelemon's trident. Phelesmon punches Piddomon with a free hand, knocking him to the ground. Phelesmon walks to Piddomon and puts a foot on his chest, pinning him to the ground. Leni looks with worry as Phelesmon raised his trident up.
"Time to put an end to you, Piddomon." said Phelesmon as he thrusts his trident down towards Piddomon.
"PIDDOMON!" shouts Leni. Her artifact suddenly glowed brightly, causing Phelesmon to stagger back while covering his eyes with an arm. Piddomon gets back up on his feet and he looks at Leni.
"Leni; it's time." said Piddomon. Leni looks at her artifact and saw a button glowing brightly on it. Leni looks at Piddomon who nods at her; Leni nods in response. She pushes the button on her artifact and Piddomon begins to spin.
"Piddomon, Digivolve to..." said Piddomon as he continued to spin; fire consumes Piddomon. When the flames dispersed, Piddomon now had four pairs of wings, he wore a flowing white robe, orange shoulder armor, his helmet had a gold band with long gold blades sticking out of it around his helmet, and his staff had a winged torch with a flame on one of it and a long green ribbon around it.
"...ARKHAIANGEMON!" shouts Piddomon in his new form.
"Whoa; you look, totes, amazing." Leni says to his newly-Digivolved partner.
"What's Piddomon now?" asked Luan. Leni points her artifact at Piddomon's new form.
"That's ArkhaiAngemon." said Leni. "Ultimate Level, Principality Type, Vaccine Attribute; special attack, Saint Legion." Phelesmon uncovers his eyes and looks at ArkhaiAngemon.
"You may have Digivolved; but it'll take more than that to defeat me!" shouts Phelesmon.
"It is more than enough to vanquish you, Phelesmon." replied ArkhaiAngemon. "You have threatened my allies and have full intention of destroying them; I cannot allow you to exist in this world."
"Only my masters allow me to do things; you don't!" replied Phelesmon. He aims his trident at ArkhaiAngemon.
"Black Statue!" shouts Phelesmon as he fires black beams of energy out of his trident at ArkhaiAngemon.
"Brave Aura!" shouts ArkhaiAngemon. Fire from his staff envelops him and the fire blocks Phelesmon's attack.
"What?!" exclaimed Phelesmon. The fire enveloping ArkhaiAngemon dispersed.
"Heaven's Flame!" shouts ArkhaiAngemon. He releases a large wave of fire from his staff that envelops Phelesmon, sending him flying, and he lands on the ground while his trident falls from his hand; Phelesmon struggles to get up while picking up his trident.
"I'll make you suffer for that!" shouts Phelesmon. "Demon's Shout!" Phelesmon lets out a loud scream and releases soundwaves at ArkhaiAngemon; he floats up, dodging the attack.
"I will not allow you to cause suffering, Phelesmon." said ArkhaiAngemon. "Saint's Legion!" Fiery spirits form around ArkhaiAngemon and he points at Phelesmon; the fiery spirits fly at Phelesmon and they consumed him.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!" shouts Phelesmon as the flames continued to engulf him before he disintegrated.
"Yay, ArkhaiAngemon!" cheered Leni. Chirinmon, Meteormon, and Cherrymon begin to glow and they turned back to normal.
"The effect of Phelesmon's attack must have been neutralized when ArkhaiAngemon destroyed him." said Zach. Chirinmon, Meteormon, and Cherrymon look at ArkhaiAngemon in amazement.
"Wow; Piddomon Digvolved to Ultimate!" said Meteormon.
"And we missed it?!" said Cherrymon.
"There is always next time." replied ArkhaiAngemon.
"You're right." replied Chirinmon. He, Meteormon, and Cherrymon De-Digivolved back to their Rookie Forms while ArkhaiAngemon De-Digivolved back to Yokomon. Leni runs to Yokomon, picks him up, and hugs him while spinning.
"You were, totes, incredible, Yokomon." Leni says to her partner Digimon.
"I'm just glad I was able to keep you and our friends safe, Leni." replied Yokomon. Leni smiles before she nuzzles Yokomon.
"Let's takes a rest before we continue on to the Bony Resort." said Zach.
"Good idea, but first..." said Palmon before she looks up at the Vilemon that was hovering above them; it tries to fly away. "Poison Ivy!" She extends her fingers and they wrap around the Vilemon; Palmon pulls it down and it crashes onto the ground. Palmon walks over to Vilemon. "Root Breaker!" She slashes the Vilemon with her fingers, making the Vilemon disintegrate.
"Good job, Palmon." said Luan. She and the rest of the group sat on large rocks to rest before they continued their journey to the Bony Resort.
With Volcanicdramon, Blastmon, and GranKuwagmon watched a blank monitor.
"We have lost Phelesmon and another Vilemon." said Blastmon.
"Those humans are depleting our forces." said GranKuwagamon.
"GranKuwagamon; go to the Bony Resort and make sure those humans and their partner Digimon don't destroy the crystal pillar." said Volcanicdramon.
"Yes, and I will bring Oboromon with to assist me." replied GranKuwagamon before flying off.
"Regalecusmon better destroy the humans and their Digimon who are journeying to Cape MOD." said Blastmon.
"We must destroy them all; they are an obstabcle on our goal of taking over both worlds." said Volcanicdramon.
Piddomon has Digivolved to ArkhaiAngemon and has defeated Phelesmon. Will Lincoln and his sisters, friends, and partner Digimon stop the evil forces from achieving their goal? Wait and find out.
