Chapter 47 - Chapter 47

"Amazing! A cloak that grants invisibility?!"

"Genrou, can this cloak be lent to someone else?"

Before Usopp could even speak, Luffy had already turned toward Genrou, eyes shining with excitement.

"If Usopp inherits the Heroic Spirit template of Robin Hood, then yes, Mubou no Ou (Faceless King) can be lent to others for use."

"But—since Faceless King is bound to its user, others using it would still drain the bound user's stamina."

"And if the user and the one wearing the cloak are too far apart, the Noble Phantasm won't function."

Genrou nodded, affirming Luffy's guess.

"Then you have the cloak, right, Genrou? Can you lend it to me?"

"I refuse. If you really want to use it, ask Usopp—if he chooses Robin Hood."

Genrou waved his hand, denying Luffy without hesitation.

Even if he had Robin Hood's power, there was no way he'd just hand over his Noble Phantasm for Luffy to play with. Keeping a Noble Phantasm active was no joke—it was draining.

"It's incredible—being able to obscure even Kenbunshoku Haki (Observation Haki) to some extent. This Noble Phantasm is really dangerous."

"For a sniper, launching invisible attacks is a huge threat to enemies."

"Unfortunately… once you fire an arrow, it leaves the range of Faceless King and becomes visible. That pretty much gives away your location."

"If you're going to attack while using Faceless King, it has to be a one-shot kill!"

Zoro commented solemnly.

"Who says arrows become visible when fired?"

Genrou smirked and shot a glance at Zoro.

"Huh? You mean the arrows stay invisible even after leaving the cloak?"

Usopp couldn't help but ask. After all, this was a power he might inherit—he needed to know.

Genrou didn't reply. Instead, he pointed silently in Robin Hood's direction.

Usopp followed his finger and saw Robin Hood pull the cloak's hood over his head, vanishing instantly into thin air.

A moment later, the sound of wood cracking rang out.

Turning toward the noise, they saw several dents appear on a massive tree nearby.

Seconds later, invisible arrows embedded in the tree began slowly revealing themselves.

"Even the arrows are invisible? That's seriously terrifying..."

Zoro frowned.

He hadn't sensed the attack at all. If that had been aimed at him, he wasn't sure he could have dodged in time.

"Robin Hood is a ranger, adept at using traps and poison."

"If given enough prep time, he can cause massive disruption on the battlefield—poisoning, confusing, and crippling enemies before they can even fight properly."

"On top of that, Robin Hood has another dangerous Noble Phantasm: Inori no Yumi (Prayer Bow), worn on his wrist."

As Genrou explained, a ninja-like enemy materialized across from Robin Hood.

Before their eyes, the ninja whirled around, knocking down several invisible arrows with his kunai.

Even so, one arrow found its mark, piercing his shoulder and drawing a gush of blood.

"Robin Hood specializes in poison. With Inori no Yumi, he can fire arrows laced with venom."

"Though not all his poison is instantly fatal… if he speaks the name Inori no Yumi, he can detonate all the toxins and impurities in the enemy's body."

As Genrou finished, Robin Hood threw off his cloak, revealing himself.

Calling out the name of his Noble Phantasm, Inori no Yumi, a green beam fired from his shortbow, aimed directly at the ninja's chest.

The ninja tried to dodge, but even a graze was enough.

The next second, his body exploded from the inside like an overinflated balloon.

After the blast, where the beam had struck the ground, a massive tree erupted upward—and a strange purple mist began to spread out in all directions.

"H-He exploded? That's horrifying!!"

Usopp's legs gave out again as he stared at the grisly scene.

"Yeah… that's an extremely dangerous power. Just a glancing blow from that green light and—boom."

"Even if I don't know the exact mechanics of the explosion, any Noble Phantasm with a true name activation can't be underestimated."

Zoro looked toward Genrou with a grim expression.

"If either of you took that hit right now, you'd be blown apart instantly," Genrou said flatly.

"Even with your partial demon recovery factor, Zoro. And Luffy—don't think being rubber makes you immune either."

That made both Luffy and Zoro tense.

The combination of Faceless King's stealth and Inori no Yumi's one-hit kill was terrifying enough that even they couldn't brush it off.

"This Robin Hood is terrifying! If someone could master that power… wouldn't they be unbeatable?"

Nami gasped.

"Not exactly invincible," Genrou chuckled, shaking his head.

"A strong enough body can still resist the poison."

"And more importantly—Inori no Yumi and Faceless King can't be used at the same time."

"If you want to activate Inori no Yumi's true name, you have to deactivate Faceless King's invisibility."

"So Robin Hood can't launch that green beam while remaining hidden."

Zoro and Luffy relaxed slightly.

But Genrou's next line made their eyes shoot open again.

"See that giant tree that grew from the impact site?"

"That tree is also a trap. Anyone who touches it will trigger a detonation of the toxins in their body, just like the main blast."

"And the purple mist it emits as it dies? It's laced with deadly poison."

"Get it on you, and you'll experience a different kind of explosion."

Genrou patted Usopp, who was now completely frozen, then pointed toward Robin Hood now perched high in the air.

Usopp looked up just in time to see him fire another arrow into the spreading mist.

BOOM!

The moment it landed, it was like someone had thrown a match into a gas cloud—the entire area of purple fog went up in a massive blast.

Sweat poured from Usopp's face as he realized what Genrou had meant by "detonation."

"Th-This kind of terrifying power… Can I really master it?"
