"Surround them! Don't let a single one escape!"
With a furious roar, Axe-Hand Morgan stormed onto the scene with a large squad of Marine soldiers.
The moment he saw his son lying unconscious on the ground, Morgan's brow furrowed deeply.
"Was it you who knocked my son down?"
After ordering the soldiers to raise their rifles and aim at Luffy and the others, Morgan strode forward toward Genrou's group.
"Yeah, I knocked them down."
"They were pretty weak, honestly. All I did was summon the Red Oni, and they all collapsed."
Luffy scratched the back of his head and gave Morgan a big, cheerful grin.
To Morgan, that smile was pure provocation.
"Even though my idiot son is trash and only got taken out because he's weak…"
"Still, laying a hand on him without my permission means you're provoking the great Captain Morgan!"
With a bellow, Morgan swung the axe attached to his arm straight at Luffy's head.
Luffy grinned, formed a claw with his right hand, and swung a punch at Morgan.
Gomu Gomu no… Fork!
As Luffy shouted, his arm instantly stretched out, and a silver-white fork formed at his palm, colliding directly with Morgan's axe.
Clang!
Morgan's arm—and the axe with it—was forced backward, making him stagger two steps back.
"That guy… his arm stretched?! Did you teach him that, Genrou?"
Zoro asked in surprise.
"That one's not mine. That's just Luffy's own ability."
Genrou shook his head and replied.
"Captain Morgan, are you alright?!"
"Captain Morgan got pushed back?! No way!"
"Who is that kid? He actually repelled Morgan?"
"Wait… Look at that black-haired guy. Isn't that the infamous Genrou everyone's talking about lately?"
"What?! Genrou?! That pirate with a bounty over 100 million… why is he here?!"
One of the Marines recognized Genrou, and gasps of shock spread throughout the square of the Marine base.
"Shut up, you weaklings!"
"Calm down, all of you! So what if his bounty's high?"
"As long as I'm here, he'll still be arrested!"
Morgan swung his axe and sent the closest trembling Marine flying, his angry voice ringing in every Marine's ear.
Seeing that, the already terrified soldiers trembled even harder.
"Hey, you bastard! You're attacking your own men?!"
Luffy frowned and shouted angrily at Morgan.
"Hmph, just a bunch of weaklings. No way are they my comrades."
"Do you even know who I am? I'm the great Captain Morgan!"
"All of you, raise your guns! If not, don't blame me for punishing you!"
Morgan raised his axe high, seemingly forgetting that he'd just been sent stumbling by Luffy.
Zango's hypnosis really is something…
To make a regular Marine so full of himself like this…
Genrou shook his head slightly, silently admiring the hypnotist Zango of the Black Cat Pirates.
As the trembling Marines raised their rifles toward him, Genrou snapped his fingers.
In the next instant, golden ripples spread out around him, and one by one, cannons sprang forth from the ripples.
"Incredible! Genrou, you can use Captain Drake's ability?!"
"Can you also summon an invincible fleet like her?!"
The golden ripples surrounding Genrou didn't escape Luffy's notice. Seeing the line of cannons appearing, his eyes gleamed golden with excitement.
"What's up with this guy? What kind of weird ability is this?"
Zoro muttered suspiciously.
"Those are the cannons of Captain Drake, a female pirate." Nami frowned slightly. "If this guy can use her powers, he should've just said so earlier."
"Wait a second… don't tell me he can use all Heroic Spirits' powers?"
Genrou didn't respond to Nami's suspicion. Instead, he conjured a flintlock pistol in the style of Drake's weapon, aiming it at Morgan and the others, and smiled.
"I'd suggest putting down your weapons."
"You're aiming rifles at me—but I'm aiming cannons at you."
Hearing that, the already fearful Marines instinctively took a step back.
"Ridiculous. Just some weird Devil Fruit ability. Like that's going to—"
BOOM!
Before Morgan could finish, a deafening cannon blast interrupted him.
A nearby cannon opened fire, its golden flash instantly obliterating the massive statue of Morgan just ahead.
The golden laser blast didn't stop there—it smashed into the Marine base buildings behind the statue, causing part of the structures to collapse.
"Amazing! The cannon… It's Drake's Fruit power!"
"Hey, Genrou! Let's summon those warships too! I want to see the fleet!"
Luffy excitedly ran up to Genrou, completely forgetting about the stunned Marines frozen by the cannon blast.
