Medusa thumped Azel's forehead again… and again until his eyelids finally fluttered open.
He had been sleeping on the bed when it was already noon.
'He's very lazy, he didn't even go anywhere yesterday.' She thought as she puffed out her cheeks.
"Come on, hubby… wake up!"
Azel blinked blearily at the sight of her hovering over him.
When his vision finally focused, he smiled softly and leaned up to kiss her lips. "Good morning, sweetheart. How are you feeling?"
Medusa sat back with both hands on her swollen belly.
Her posture looked more mature somehow… she was far more motherly than before.
It was still strange to see her with such a grown stomach, but her bloodline developed children faster than humans.
She was nearing her seventh-month appearance despite it only being almost a month.
"I'm… okay," she said, her cheeks flushing when his hand brushed her stomach.
The baby kicked lightly and Medusa's expression relaxed into a warm smile.
"I'm glad," he murmured.
