Sunshine remembered the vocoder_ the device that helped translate the bear's complex vocalizations. She approached White, gently massaging the base of his neck to soothe the vibrating tension. "It's okay champ, they won't hurt you."
White responded with a moan and tried to climb up Sunshine's body, seeking to be given the same treat as he had received when he was a cub. But his size was not suitable anymore and this just made him sad, making him burst into tears.
Sunshine sighed. What had she turned a fierce alien bear into? He was spoiled more than a prince of any kingdom! Was it time to make him start battling with the superhumans in the training field?
"What happened to him?" She asked Earl. "Did you pinch him again?"
Earl gasped first. "Boy you pinch a bear once and it brands you forever," he muttered. "White does not like my new friends," He raised his voice slightly and looked down; his eyes were fixed on a small Arcladon perched on his knee.
