Lucy stared at her reflection wondering what Jay saw in Carly, it was not possible for anyone to ignore her and she will make sure of it.
She stormed out of the room and made her way to Jays office.
The door was slammed open, and every staff lifted there heads away from the computer.
"Where is Jay Singh?."
Harry heard her voice as he sat in his office and knew trouble was brewing.
He went and locked Jay in his office while he called the mansions landline.
Thankfully Carly answered.
"Really,I am on my way." Carly responded as soon as Harry explained the details.
Melody materialized and got into the car with Carly, she knew that Lucy was a horrible, she had a hand in her death.
"What do you think I should do once I get there?." Carly asked Melody.
"Blackmail her, she has a lot of dirty secrets. She is very cunning I'm sure she is trying to outsmart Jay and make him do as she pleases."
Carly hit the breaks as soon as they got close to Jays company.
The white high walls and tight security gave it a frightening look.
Lucy was still pacing around demanding to see Jay as Harry tried his best to control the situation. Jay soon realized he was locked in his office.
"Thank goodness the madam is here, whatever you want to say to Sir you can say it to her, she is in charge."
Carly stared at Lucy, she was terrified, but she needed to be brave in order to bring Lucy down.
"Ha, she, she is in charge." Lucy spat out loud, her tone laced with mockery.
"She, this woman who is not even qualified to be a sales man, is in charge of this company. You all should be ashamed."
Lucy glared at Carly, whose timidity was now vivid.
Harry knew it was time to get Jay out here.
"After Melody died, I was the queen of Jay's heart and this company, I am beyond qualified to be his second in command and not you!."
Carly lowered her head, all Lucy said was true, she was not qualified at all. Carly still struggled to speak basic English and had no formal education..
"The only qualification she has to be here, is by being Jays wife, a title she stole from her sister."
The staffs murmured in low but heard tones. They heard the news, but we're yet to confirm it but now they had confirmed it.
"She even looks like a villager.." Carly heard the secretary murmur.
Melody became furious, she knew that without her in Carly's body, Carly would be publicly shamed and Jay would be forced to obey Lucy's every whim.
"I am sorry Carly, but I have to do this for your own safety."
Melody entered into Carly's body and took full control.
"That is enough now!." Silence pierced through the halls as Carly raised her hand, Melody speaking through her.
"This is an office and not a market, it does not concern you if I forced my way into this family or not. Now get back to work.
Have you forgotten that It is now my right to fire who ever disrespects me."
Lucy tried to convince the staffs that Carly was merely bluffing, but it was of no use. They were terrified.
Carly turned towards Lucy.
"You may have fifty percent of the Singh mansion, but you have no right to even be in here.
Now get lost before I call security."
Lucy felt extremely embarrassed she lifted her head, and saw Jay upstairs with Harry. Jay averted his gaze.
Lucy finally understood that these two were working together, her obsession turned to hate.
Melody resurfaced leaving Carlys body.
Carly had no memory of what happened, she saw Jay staring at her with love in his eyes.
She turned towards Melody.
"You do not have to worry, I took care of everything. But you do have to be careful we have stepped on the snakes tail, it will surely turn around to attack us."
Jay made Carly stay with him till he was done with all his work.
They both laughed and smiled at each others lame jokes.
Harry could hardly believe it, he leaned on Melody who shrieked.
"Oh forgive me beautiful lady, I mean I have seen you here countless times."
Melody was taken aback, was he talking to her.
"Can you see me?." Melody asked.
Harry could not control his laughter.
"Of course I can see you silly, are you supposed to be a ghost or what?."
Melody ran to Carly's side trying to process the situation.
"First Carly could see me,now this crazy man who seems to be in love.
I'm I loosing my invincibility?."
Carly and Jay left and went back home.
There were already extremely late.
As the butler opened the door Mrs Becky was the first to run towards them.
Carly observed the house, she knew it was Lucy's doing.
The house was divided with a tape and everything was divided.
There was another bed in Jays room.
" What is all this, cant I have peace in my own house because w mad woman came returned?."
Lucy spinned her chair around, a sinister smile decorated her once gloomy face.
"You can have peace Mr Singh, if you do exactly as I say."
It was enough now, Jay had had enough, this was not the only mansion he had.
He would rather pack everyones things and move out.
Melody could not take it anymore, this was the last straw. She would teach her a suitable lesson.
Carly stopped her with a stare, she did not want to give her presence away, no one knew what they were capable of.
" Everyone pack your things we are moving out."
Lucy knew that he was going to do this, and she let him go.
Lucy threatened to hurt Grandma Susan if they dared to leave.
Lucy knew her threat were empty words with Reah around but she was the type to give up.
