This accessory was nearly priceless. In other words, Petra was showing her utmost courtesy.
After some hesitation, the count eventually nodded in agreement. The palace was in the hands of the emperor and the Liepherr family, and following those in power wouldn’t be a bad thing as long as his daughter caused no harm to her master.
On top of that, he was eager for his beloved daughter to marry a young man of noble birth, preferably one who knows martial arts. He wanted to do as much as he could to make it happen.
“Very well, Duchess. I will inform my daughter and you take her at the appropriate time.”
“You have made a wise decision. I will ensure that Bianca meets a husband that will impress you and become a top-class noblewoman.”
Petra bid farewell to the count with a sense of satisfaction.
