Laila carefully accepted the handkerchief Uriel gave him and wiped the wine off her body. Thankfully, the wine was transparent and she did not get much of it on her dress.
As she cleaned herself, she scrutinized the man before her, observing every detail from head to toe.
He wore a tailcoat as dark as the night sky, its simplicity belying a refined elegance that bore the unmistakable mark of Madame Jenson’s design. The buttons on his cuffs stood out, blood-red against the black fabric, creating a striking contrast.
Uriel’s silver hair, slicked back, shimmered brilliantly, a characteristic feature that easily distinguished him.
However, his sharp jawline and deep blue eyes were far different from what Laila had imagined him to be. She couldn’t help but wonder,
