In Ben's original world, the sky poured rain over Bellwood.
Gwen sat inside the mobile lab, staring at a screen filled with unstable data.
For three weeks, they had been searching for Ben, finding only fragmented signals and fading hope.
"Time moves strangely in that other universe…" she murmured, running her hand over a broken energy map that pulsed like it was breathing.
Kevin entered, carrying a small power generator.
"I found a strange energy source in the forest. Maybe we can restart the gate."
Gwen responded with a tired voice:
"If Ben is still alive… he's definitely not the same anymore."
