Writer's POV
Madison woke up very early the next morning. She went to the door and tried unlocking it, only to find that it was still locked from the outside.
"Open the door!" she began to knock. "Open it! Is anyone there? Linnea! Linnea, are you out there? Open the damn door, Linnea!" she shouted, shaking the door.
"Ma'am, you have orders to remain in your room until you're more stable," a male voice called from behind the door. He was one of Beta Benjamin's men.
"I need Linnea. Bring her to me. Bring Linnea to me!" she yelled.
"Ms. Linnea is not in the house either."
"What?" Madison scoffed.
"She left the house a long time ago; she no longer lives with you."
"What? She left?" Madison frowned and went silent.
"Your breakfast will be delivered to your room soon; please hold on."
Linnea left the house? Madison placed her hand on her forehead and fell into deep thought.
