Chapter 75 - "Battle of the Kryptonians."

-----

-----

Everyone returned to the real world. Though Doomsday was still trapped in the spatial prison, the threat hadn't truly been eliminated.

That's when Batman, who'd been quiet the whole time, finally spoke up in a low voice. "I have a way."

He activated his communicator and said, "Alfred, prep the kryptonite weapons."

Clark instantly turned toward him, a complicated look flashing in his eyes.

Jiro had known about Batman's secret all along—but he didn't say a word.

The next second—

SWOOSH!

He teleported right next to Batman, grabbed his shoulder with one hand—and the two of them vanished on the spot!

Batcave.

Bruce Wayne blinked. One moment he was in the middle of battle, the next, he was suddenly standing in his own lab.

"You..."

His pupils shrank slightly, and behind the mask, his usually unreadable expression wavered just a little.

Jiro looked around, his eyes landing on a display case filled with kryptonite weapons.

A glowing green kryptonite spear, kryptonite bullets, kryptonite daggers.

"You came prepared," Jiro said calmly.

Batman quickly pulled himself together, walked over to the weapons rack, and picked up the eerie green-glowing spear.

"Kryptonite weakens Doomsday's regeneration. If you pierce its heart, you can kill it for good."

Jiro held out his hand. "Give it to me."

Batman frowned. "You sure? Kryptonite's lethal to Kryptonians."

Before he even finished speaking, Jiro was already gripping the kryptonite spear with one hand.

Buzz!

A wave of kryptonite radiation spread out instantly. Jiro's skin turned slightly pale with an unnatural tone.

But just as quickly, his cells adapted to the energy, and the discomfort faded almost immediately.

Batman was stunned. "You're not... affected by kryptonite?!"

Jiro weighed the spear in his hand and said casually, "Doesn't really do much to me."

Back on the battlefield.

Whoosh!

Jiro and Batman reappeared—Jiro holding the kryptonite spear tightly in his hand.

Clark, Kara, and Wanda all stared at him wide-eyed.

"Jiro That's kryptonite!" Clark said, frowning.

Kara looked just as shocked. "How can you touch it directly?"

Wanda's red energy began to flare slightly, ready to attack at a moment's notice.

Jiro stayed calm. "Relax. I'm immune to kryptonite."

He didn't bother to explain further. Instead, he turned and flew straight toward the dimensional cage, swinging one hand.

A spatial rift opened up. Doomsday was still trapped inside, furiously pounding at the invisible barrier.

Jiro's eyes turned cold—and in a blink, he vanished!

The kryptonite spear pierced straight through Doomsday's heart!

Squelch!

The spear tore through flesh and bone. Doomsday let out a blood-curdling scream.

The green kryptonite energy spread through his body like a virus. His muscles shriveled, and his bone spikes cracked and shattered!

ROAR!!

With one last, unwilling roar, Doomsday's huge body crashed to the ground. His energy completely dissipated.

Jiro didn't waste a second. He pressed one hand against Doomsday's corpse—

—and the massive body disappeared instantly, sucked into his system's storage space!

Barry the Flash's jaw dropped. "Did he just make that giant monster vanish?!"

Wonder Woman, Diana, gripped her shield tighter, her eyes wide with surprise. "What kind of power is that?"

Clark frowned, suddenly feeling like his powers were kind of... basic.

Batman stayed quiet for a moment, then slowly spoke: "Who the hell are you?"

Jiro stored the kryptonite spear into his system space, but didn't answer. His gaze had already turned toward Metropolis in the distance.

"That doesn't matter. Our enemy isn't finished yet."

Everyone froze for a second. Following Jiro's gaze, they looked off into the distance—

—and saw a shadowy figure flying through the sky, stopping to hover high above them.

He wore a black battle suit, the "S" symbol on his chest torn and stained dark red. His eyes weren't Clark's usual gentle blue—they were glowing blood red.

A twisted grin tugged at the corners of his lips, and the pressure radiating from his body was suffocating.

Clark's eyes widened. "Who... are you?"

The figure let out a low, cold chuckle—his voice raspy and chilling.

"I'm you, Clark Kent."

"Except... I come from a world that's far more real than this one."

Jiro narrowed his eyes and asked directly, "Doomsday… was that your doing?"

The dark Superman grinned wickedly. "Smart. But it was just a test—to see how strong this universe's so-called heroes really are."

Barry Allen—the Flash—couldn't hold back and shouted, "What the hell do you want?!"

Dark Superman slowly lifted his head, his eyes glowing with scorching heat vision energy.

"To wipe out humanity. To destroy anyone who stands in my way."

Clark glared at him. "Why?"

A flash of madness lit up in Dark Superman's eyes. "Because in my world, Lois died. My father died. Eleven million people in Metropolis were reduced to ashes by a nuclear bomb!"

"And all of it—every bit of it—was because of humanity's stupidity, greed, and betrayal!"

His voice grew more twisted, more furious. "I protected them. And what did they do? They slaughtered each other, used my trust, and destroyed everything I ever loved!"

"So I woke up."

"Humanity doesn't deserve to be saved."

Dark Superman slowly descended to the ground, his blood-red eyes sweeping across everyone in front of him.

"I killed everyone who resisted me. Batman. Wonder Woman. All of them."

"Then I flew out into space and soaked up the sun—just to get stronger."

"Until I found a way to travel across parallel universes."

Suddenly, he looked up, bloodlust boiling over. "And now, this universe's humans will suffer the exact same fate!"

Jiro stayed expressionless. "Just you?"

Dark Superman stared at him, a flicker of unease in his eyes—quickly replaced by madness.

"You're strong, but you're not enough to beat me."

"I've killed too many like you before."

Clark let out a furious roar and charged, "I won't let you hurt anyone!"

BOOM!!

The two Supermen crashed into each other in a violent shockwave. The ground split open beneath them!

Wonder Woman—Diana—drew her sword and stepped forward. "We have to stop him!"

Barry turned into a streak of golden lightning, trying to mess with Dark Superman's movements.

Kara and Wanda exchanged a quick glance—then attacked together!

BOOM!!!

Chaos magic and heat vision clashed, turning the battlefield into a raging storm of pure energy!

Meanwhile, Jiro slowly floated into the air, his golden eyes glowing bright.

"So you've got a death wish."

"Fine. Let me show you… what real power looks like!"

He swept his arms outward. Glowing golden runes lit up around him, burning in the air as the Mirror Dimension unfolded once again.

SWOOSH—!

Everyone was pulled into that twisted dimension, instantly cut off from the outside world.

Nothing left now but pure, raw violence.

BOOM!!!

The first punch landed—space itself trembled!

The shockwave ripped buildings apart like paper and caved the ground into a deep, gaping pit!

Dark Superman grinned maniacally, his crimson eyes blazing. "You're strong—but not strong enough!"

Jiro didn't respond.

The next second—

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

They turned into afterimages, clashing again and again in the Mirror Dimension with terrifying speed and force!

Every punch could crush mountains. Every kick could split the earth.

This was a fight of pure strength—Kryptonian versus Kryptonian, at their absolute peak.
