Nagashi drove smoothly and soon stopped at the hospital, pulled Mia out of the car and carried her inside.
"Help, the girl felt bad and fainted" he shouted.
The doctors quickly put Mia on a stretcher and took her to the ward.
Nagashi looked at her pale face which seemed to him more beautiful than ever.
He wanted to go into the ward, but the doctors stopped him. Suddenly, Nagashi overheard one of them say:
"Third weeks of pregnancy, bleeding"
"Is something threatening her life?" Nagashi asked after some time of waiting when the doctor left the ward.
"No, we stopped the bleeding, your baby is already safe, so don't worry".
"It's not my..."Nagashi didn't have time to finish before the doctor left.
He just stood under the ward for a while and then went inside. Mia was awake and she called Yuki when someone entered but when she saw Nagashi she frowned.
"Where is Yuki?"
"I left him there" Nagashi said, approaching her.
"And why you are here, get away, i don't want you to see me in this state"
Mia turned away and didn't want to say anything more but Nagashi took her hand and whispered
"I'm with you and we won't tell anyone about this child"
"What child?"
"Yours and Yuki's, you're pregnant"
"No, all this is a lie I just got sick, fainted and that's it and now I want to see Yuki"
Mia pulled her hand away.
"I know the truth so don't make a fool of yourself Mia and also how long will you try to hide this from Yuki?"
"It's none of your business, so shut up and get out of here" Mia clenched the blanket nervously.
"Don't be mad, because in your condition it could be harmful," Nagashi grumbled and left the ward.
'What a fool she is', thought Nagashi. 'I dragged her here for nothing'.
But after a few minutes Nagashi burst into the room again and although Mia protested he stayed anyway.
"I won't tell him anything I promise, it will be our secret just let me stay"
Mia heavily exhaled but nodded.
"Why don't you want him to know?"
"Because I don't want this child, I'm 18 and I'm not ready for this" suddenly Mia started crying wiping her tears with a palm.
"Oh come on, don't cry, it's not that crucial, is it?" Nagashi said and touched her shoulder.
"You won't undersand me"
"Let me try to"
Mia looked at Nagashi with teary eyes.
"I don't want to, I'm not ready for this, I'll have an abortion".
"Don't rush into doing this, you know there are many risks".
"Who the hell you are to tell me what to do, I am an adult so I can decide myself"
"But don't be hasty and decide yourself whether you want to get rid of the unborn child and have a chance of never getting pregnant again, or will we just go to Yuki and you tell him the truth when you're ready?"
Nagashi said this and was surprised by how determined he was.
"What's all this for? Why don't you just leave me here alone?"
"I just worry about you, Mia, and I don't want you to regret about anything"
"What you have to do with..." Mia didn't finish because the doctor came into the room to give her a sleeping pill so she could rest.
"How is she?" Nagashi asked as he left the ward.
"She and the baby are fine, don't worry, but she will remain under observation today. By the way, I'll give this to you because I didn't want to give it to her, you should be the one to take it" the doctor suddenly said and handed Miya's phone. Nagashi took it and turned the phone on, seeing 20 missed calls from Yuki.
Nagashi turned off phone and put it in his pocket but suddenly his phone rang and he took it out of other pocket.
It was Yuki and Nagashi decided to pick up.
"Yeah, she's fine. She probably didn't pick up 'cause she was asleep, and she's still sleeping. No, no need to come here, all good, man"
After saying that, Nagashi hung up, turned it off and shoved the phone back in his pocket.
For a while he just sat and waited for Mia to wake up, he bought some hot food and wanted to feed her but she told him to get out of the room again.
"What did I do wrong again?"
"I don't wanna eat"
"I can feed you"
"Are you out of mind and why are you even still here? You were supposed to go pick up Yuki"
"But i didn't want to leave you alone" Nagashi said and placed the food on the nightstand, and when he turned away for a moment, Mia took a piece of meat from the plate. When Nagashi noticed, she simply looked away.
"I know you're hungry... and not just you," he suddenly said.
"You don't have to remind me of that."
"Alright, I won't. But eat, and after that I'll go pick up Yuki. I'll tell him you'll stay in the hospital until the end of the day, since you need some rest. Okay?"
Mia nodded and started eating.
