This story will have many shocking turns and twists. I will not just stick to Canon; I will try to shake things up. This will be a completely different ninja villages.

Naruto looked at a lake with tears streaming down his face. He spun a kunai in his right hand with engravings on it. It was one of the multiple kunai that he put in the Hirashian seal on for his village to use for emergency purposes. He was seated on a tree with all of the leaves gone. With complete darkness out. The moon was in the sky with very few stars. As Naruto stared at the lake. Naruto could see the blood. He tried his best to not think about it. But the thought of the blood would always come back. Multiple times a week he could not stop thinking about it. His father figure dying with massive amounts of blood everywhere on his body. He could not stop thinking about Kakashi. He could not get that moment out of his thoughts. It was an infection that had no cure. Always spreading, never leaving. The sadness and shock were palpable. The feeling of true fear of what he was seeing was real and not fake. His precious person's death always replayed when he laid his head on his pillow at night. His body was shaking with tears running down his face. He thought about his family, his other precious people. Why did he deserve to be with them? Their father and husband died because of him. He lacked the necessary strength. He was not worthy enough. He did not deserve their love. Naruto looked back and saw the Mist ANBU with blond hair that had been following him for many months. Naruto did not know who the ANBU was, so he just assumed it was an older Mist Ninja he had never met before. The only thing unique about the ninja was that every night he had a box of homemade meals. The smell of the ANBU's food would waft to Naruto. His memories made him long for the joyful life he once had, eating dinner with a family he felt he no longer deserved. He remembered how, after missions and after Kakashi's death, he would always use the Hirashin technique to travel to this place to escape from the village. He deserved none of the love that the village had to offer him. He was worthless, someone who killed his father through his own weakness.
He did that for two months. After one of the missions, while giving his report to his kage, Itachi made eye contact with Naruto, who was under the influence of his active sharingan. Itachi said tsukuyomi. Naruto was brought to a red world. Naruto had his arms tied behind a tree where he could not move. Itachi's body materialized in front of Naruto. "Naruto, this is my world, called the Tsukomi. I am basically god here and this technique lasts for a full day. Your Hiraishin would not even be able to get you out of this." Naruto noticed the worried and caring eyes that Itachi had after every mission following Kakashi's death. He hated them; he was not someone deserving pity and care and worry. He only deserved hatred towards him. "Naruto For the last two months, you have Hiraishined away every day after each mission. Not seeing your family. When Sasuke goes on missions with you, he offers to get ramen with you after, but you always just Hirashian away before even answering. I understand that you may want space from other people right now, but you also have responsibilities. You are a Jinchuriki and Akatsuki is still active. I know the town with that lake you have been going to." Itachi saw Naruto's eyes go wide in surprise at them finding him in such a small town. This was the part that Itachi was worried about. If Itachi pressured Naruto too much, Naruto might use his Hiraishin to travel to different places, making it difficult for them to locate him again. "Since it appears that you enjoy that place, I would like to make you an offer. We will buy an apartment there for you. But we will have one ANBU follow you. If the Akatsuki show up, the ANBU can buy you time to use your hiraishin technique to escape. Furthermore, I need 20 Hirashin Sealed Kunai to give out for emergency purposes." Naruto nodded his head in agreement at Itachi. The Tsukomi world ended and Naruto Hiraishined away. Itachi called Ao to talk about assigning an ANBU to watch Naruto. Naruto felt an abnormal sensation go through his Hirashin-sealed kunai. He closed his eyes and sensed that someone had thrown the Hirashin Kunai into the ground, signaling that they needed help. He tried to sense what direction it was coming from. His eyes went wide when he realized that it was coming from their allied village, the hidden cloud village.
