Seiki introduced actively, "This is the Sage of Six Paths, the origin of both the Senju and Uchiha lineages!"
"The Sage of Six Paths!" Madara's pupils momentarily contracted in surprise, but soon returned to calmness. "Still, you're nothing special! Tell me, what do you want from me?"
Seiki said, "I'd like you to be a mentor for my disciples' trials!"
Madara's expression darkened, "You want me to babysit these brats?"
"Babysitting isn't an incorrect way to put it," Seiki lightly smiled. "However, your main task is to guide them. As for actual combat, you might not even stand a chance against them!"
Madara's face turned icy cold. "They're the final three from that pointless exam three years ago, right? Although they have some strength, how could they possibly compare to me?"
Nagato sighed, "We're all people left behind by the times. It's already fortunate to be remembered!"
"What is time?" Madara scoffed. "Even for decades after Hashirama and I died, it was still our era!"
Obito still remembered how Madara had deceived him before. Armed with his newfound knowledge, he sneered, "Then do you know what the Xu and Gaka organizations are?"
"Do you even know what the Otsutsuki are?"
Madara frowned. "And why would I need to know that?"
"Then let me enlighten you!" Obito smugly flaunted knowledge that had just shocked him moments ago.
Soon enough, Madara joined the ranks of those left speechless!
"Top ten in the shinobi world? Me? Not even close? What?! The Otsutsuki brought chakra into existence? What?! The Otsutsuki are actually deities of creation, yet ordinary Otsutsuki can only serve under two major factions, and Kara, composed of two Otsutsuki, is the weakest organization?"
If it weren't for the Sage of Six Paths himself confirming it, Madara would've thought they were all bullshitting him!
How the hell did the world turn so foreign in just eight damn years?

"Then I'm taking this mission!" Madara's eyes gleamed with menace. "I want to see just how powerful the experts of this era really are!"
Seiki Shimaseki assigned the teams. "Sasuke and Madara will be one team. Naruto and Nagato will be another. Neji and Obito will be the third. Any objections?"
"No objections!"
"Good. Once we've unlocked our hidden potential, we'll prepare to depart."

Meanwhile, inside the Sky Fortress.
Aizen regarded the two figures before him with an ambiguous smile. "You stole the Moon and still dare to show yourselves before me? Do you think I wouldn't dare to kill you?"
Toneri and the remaining Espada stood to the side, their expressions cold and ready for battle at any moment.
Isshiki calmly placed his finger on his right eye. "I've shrunk the Moon and absorbed it into this Divine Eye..."

"You've already set your sights on it, so of course we won't interfere," Isshiki said with a faint smile. "What we want is the souls of the Underworld!"
"The Underworld?" Aizen chuckled. "So you're after the Sage of Six Paths after all!"
Isshiki calmly explained, "The Underworld is not only one of the 'Three Ultimate Realms' you spoke of, but also can supply us with an army. Naturally, it's the best option."
Aizen closed his eyes and fell silent, saying nothing.
Momoshiki quickly added, "You don't need to deal with Six Paths. Just help us stop Seiki Shimaseki if he appears!"
Isshiki continued, "Whether Seiki Shimaseki appears or not, I swear I'll return the Great Tenseigan to you once this is done!"
Aizen gave a noncommittal smile and said, "The Great Tenseigan contains the power of the Otsutsuki. I thought you two would want to devour it yourselves!"
Both Momoshiki and Isshiki couldn't help but twitch at that. If having Sage Chakra hidden in Naruto's Rasengan was like finding crap in your meal, then having an Otsutsuki inside the corrupted Great Tenseigan was like finding a crumb of food in your toilet bowl!
They'd rather die than even consider absorbing that Otsutsuki!
Seeing their grim expressions, Aizen decided not to drag this out and said lazily, "Fine, I agree."
