Some minutes passed by as Pablo was speaking on the phone… or more like he was just listening to a woman's voice, which seemed like it was more like a privilege to meet her… or a mind game from the beginning as Pablo said it.
"She is waiting, and was really excited, hearing your name, and you want to meet with her… maybe too excited." Pablo said with that worried look in his eyes, and Joseph caught that, because it was just too strange.
Why the fuck would an ex-elite soldier be worried about a whore leader?
"Does she have connections with other mafia?"
"Yeah, she has… and she's not really on our side." He looked out the window. "I thought those who run an information ring are neutral and sell to everybody. "He glanced back at Joseph. "…. but I quickly realized that she has favorites."
It sounded funny… like being worried about a whore who led other whores… but this was the reality, and Joseph knew that it could be dangerous… like how the homeless mafia was.
