It was 2024, New Year's Eve when the 3 orphans gathered after the party.
Ric - (stays silent)
Lucas - Hey Ric, tell me how the party.
Maria - God I am beat.
Ric - Maria, is Miss Lilly and Master still awake?
Maria - No, both of them are sleeping.
Lucas - Ric, tell me something?
Ric - Hmm?
Lucas - Do you feel like something is coming for us? Well at least not for us but for Master and Sister Lilly.
Maria - Shut up Lucas, don't put it in his head.
Ric - Maria don't worry, I am fine, it's ok.
Ric - Lucas.....
Lucas - Yes big bro?
Ric - Just know this, if anything bad happens as long as I am alive or at least I am breathing, you guys along with the Master and Miss Lilly, you all will be safe.
Maria - Ric you should go and sleep.
Ric - Yeah I am beat as well, see you in the morning, bye.
Maria and Lucas sit there and both of them look terrified - not for the upcoming unsure trouble but of Ric.
They both recall a memory in their mind of a church, a person lying and screaming covered in blood, and Rosévet and the priest standing.
It's just another day in the Rosévet family.
Lilly and Maria are gossiping and serving tea to her.
Lucas is busy doing chores.
And Ric? Where is he?
Ric was assigned a job called the "Shadow Exit" in Japan.
Rosévet was sitting in his office and leading the operation, but there were also other soldiers with Ric. At one point Rosévet cut off Ric's walkie and said to the other soldiers: "If he goes berserk retreat immediately, don't shoot at him or he won't think twice before killing."
Soldier - Roger that sir.
The communication was given back to Ric after that.
Ric - Any problems sir?
Rosévet - No it was just a mis-transmission, don't worry, keep moving and find them.
Ric - Roger that sir.
