Chapter 4 - THE MYSTERIOUS SAVIOURS

Juniper and Jeremy fell straight to the ground with a loud thud, blood spilling from Jeremy's head as the shooters gradually lowered their guns and walked closer to the bodies. Jeremy's blood flowed, creating a small pool on the ground, but nothing was coming out of Juniper's body. It was as though the blood refused to come out.

The shooters took off their masks, revealing the faces of two Caucasian males with brown hair ans blonde hair. But then they reached out again for a device on their neck, and pulled it off, revealing their true faces. Alienic faces. One had oxblood skin and white hair, with a flat nose that had three layers. He was the one who pulled out the holographic screen rod. The other had blue skin and black hair. His eyes were completely white and his nose was so small it looked like he did a nose job.

The white haired alien kicked Jeremy's body aside as the other looked around at the damage they had caused.

"These dumbass humans," he said, taking off his handgloves. "So arrogant and yet so weak and fragile."

"Stay focused Negun, let's get the target and leave this planet before you know who finds out we're here," his companion replied, fixing something on his face distortion device.

Negun scoffed. "The Avinths don't know about the lifting of the ban on this blackwater planet…no one does!"

"Yeah, not yet," his friend replied, finally done with what he was fixing. "Just get the girl."

"On it," Negun exhaled, reaching out to grab Juniper.

But before his hand could even touch Juniper, a foot collided with his face, launching him back with inhuman force. He flew across the room like a ragdoll, smashing into a wall so hard it cracked.

A new figure now stood between Juniper and the gunmen.

A girl.

She wore a hood and she was masked, dressed in sleek gray. A strange emblem shimmered across the back of her cloak like silver starlight. Her presence was commanding—deadly even.

She turned to look at Juniper's motionless body. Immediately she knelt by her, quickly scanning her body for injuries. Her eyes glowed blue with fury under the mask, when she noticed the bullet holes on Juniper's chest.

"Her heart has stopped beating," she called out, looking towards the cafeteria doors. Footsteps echoed across the cafeteria. Four more cloaked figures appeared at the doors of the cafeteria, all dressed like her.

"They shot her with something," the blue eyed girl explained futher. "Four bullet wounds. She's not moving."

"Vilomites!" growled Negun, crawling to his feet.

"Ah shit," the second shooter said, shaking his head.

They moved in sync, like a strike team in a movie—flawless, efficient, and terrifying. One of them—the tallest—stepped forward, closer to the blue eyed girl. He stared down at Juniper's body for a moment. Then, another stood next to him, giving a sharp whistle.

"The commander is NOT going to like that," he said, folding his arms.

"Secure the Princess," the tallest ordered the blue eyed girl. Then he turned to Negun and his white haired friend and growled, "We'll handle these clowns."

The blue-eyed girl nodded and picking Juniper up gently. But before she could even move an inch, Juniper's closed eyes swung open, startling her to the point of gasping and dropping Juniper. Her companions immediately snapped their heads at her as Juniper's body slammed the floor.

"Did you just drop the Princess?!" One of them shouted.

"I'm sorry!" She replied. "She freaked me out!"

"Freaked you out?!" The tallest shouted, "that's enough reason to DROP THE PRINCESS?!"

"Well I said I WAS SORRY!"

"SORRY?! WHAT'S SORRY GON—"

In the heat of their argument, Negun and his companion tried to slip away and make their escape, but two of the Vilomites stopped them. And then, it happened. Juniper's eyes began sparking, blue electricity danced above her cornea and streaked through her hair, which was now dancing to the sudden wind that had come out of nowhere as Juniper's body elevated up gradually.

"Uh…guys," one of the Vilomites called to the blue eyed girl and the tallest. But they didn't answer, they were still arguing. So he exclaimed, "GUYS!"

"WHAT?!" They replied angrily.

"We have a problem," he replied, pointing at Juniper's levitating body. They looked up to see Juniper's body upside up, her hands were close together, forming what appeared to be an energy ball, like a plasma ball, but completely made of purple electricity. Her eyes glowed purple with fury and her hair whipped violently to the wind circling around her.

"Holy shi—"

"Don't just stand there!" the blue eyed girl exclaimed, interrupting the tallest. "Call the Commander!"

"What?"

"Call the Commander you dimwit!" She repeated, "before she blows up the whole town!"

Just then, the cafeteria began to come apart. The walls began to crumble under the pressure of the wind. Broken window glass and the dead bodies of the students started swirling around Juniper's chaotic body. One of the Vilomites immediately took off her helmet, revealing her face. It was Sarafina, one of the Zargos twins!

"Rafa!" She exclaimed with urgency. The wind making her green hair dance as she and the others struggled to stay on their feet.

"I'm on it!" The tallest immediately replied her, taking off a strange looking whistle tied to a small black rope like a necklace, from his neck. The whistle seemed to have been carved from bone, but it was red in colour.

Without wasting time, Rafa blew the whistle, holding on to his hood as the wind struggled to take his cloak off his body.

Immediately he blew the whistle, they heard thunderclap outside, and with the speed of light, a figure zoomed into the cafeteria, standing before the bunch. She had a sundress and an apron on, and her vivid red braided hair laid calmly on her back, down to her waist as though the wind had no effect on her. Those red braids were absolutely unmistakable…they belonged to Mrs McClain.
