A voice suddenly crackled through the communicator beside Yanagi's ear.
She quickly pressed her hand against the device.
"This is Tsukishiro Yanagi, Deputy Chief of Hollow Special Operations Section 6. Go ahead."
"Why is your signal showing up on Sixth Street?"
Yanagi glanced at Belle and Victor standing before her, then answered carefully. "We're currently on Sixth Street."
"What? How is that possible?"
The voice on the other end sounded shocked and disbelieving.
Hollow Zero was so far from Sixth Street, how had they suddenly appeared there?
Moreover, according to the reports from the troops who'd withdrawn, they'd been fighting enemies right before this!
"We accidentally entered a new type of spatial rift and were teleported to Sixth Street. I'll submit a detailed report after we return."
"Understood. Return as soon as possible. Higher command has issued new combat orders, and your presence is essential."

Despite being tortured, Victor didn't forget to tease her.
"I'm not jealous!"
Belle huffed and headed upstairs.
"I'm tired. I need to rest."
In the hidden room, only Victor and Wise remained, looking at each other.
"Since Victor will be teaching that fox how to cultivate tomorrow, why don't you stay here tonight? I'm sure Belle would like that."
Belle was still too proud. Wise felt it necessary to help her out.
Otherwise, she might actually lose to a vixen who wasn't even part of the chat group.
Victor's eyes lit up at the suggestion. "Brother-in-law, you really know how to speak to my heart!"
"Brother-in-law?" Wise raised an eyebrow.
He did approve of Belle and Victor being together.
But wasn't it a bit early to be calling him that?
Meanwhile, on the other side.
After leaving the video store, the Section 6 members took military helicopter 623 back to the combat command center.
They were greeted by the operation's commander.
"So what you're saying is, you defeated the enemies, and even the enemy commander was killed by Miss Hoshimi Miyabi?"
"Then the enemy commander suddenly exploded upon death. The explosion caused a spatial disturbance near the battlefield, and a new spatial rift appeared."

Yanagi bowed slightly and left the command center with Miyabi and the others.
Only after walking out the door did she let out a long sigh.
It was her first time lying in a mission report, so she'd been inevitably nervous.
But fortunately, her acting skills were decent, at least no flaws had been discovered.
