----------------------------------------------------------

"Boom!"

On the monster-filled battlefield, Shirou Emiya moved like a storm given form. His spear cut a straight line through the horde as he advanced and retreated, never staying in one place for long.

Each swing followed the last without pause.

Flames wrapped the spearhead, and wherever it passed, monsters were swallowed by fire and reduced to drifting ash. The battlefield burned in fragments, marked by his path.

The monsters did not retreat.

They rushed him in waves, driven by instinct and numbers, trying to overwhelm him through sheer mass. But under Shirou Emiya's spear, none of them could break through. Not a single claw, not a single fang, reached his body.

Compared to his fists and kicks, which had only recently stepped into the divine realm, the spear was different. It had entered that realm earlier. Its reach was wider. Its killing efficiency on an open battlefield was on an entirely different level.

The difference was obvious.

As the minutes passed, the density of monsters around him visibly thinned. The pressure eased. Bodies stopped piling up at the same pace.

Shirou Emiya slowed his steps.

The final phase of the battle had already begun. He was about to turn back toward the city wall and assess the situation from there when a voice suddenly rang out in his ear.

Urgent. Familiar.

"This is-Ritsuka Fujimaru's voice!"

His expression changed instantly.

The next moment, Shirou Emiya vanished from the battlefield as if erased by the wind itself.

...

At the same time, deep within the dense forest, another battlefield was unfolding.

Ritsuka Fujimaru and her group of four stood on the outskirts of the city of Ur, facing an enemy they had never expected to encounter here.

Before them stood a goddess.

Her attire was ridiculous. Her weapon looked like a joke. The way she carried herself felt careless and playful.

Jaguar Man.

Yet every strike she delivered was merciless.

Ana and Mash were already being driven back. They could barely hold their ground, much less counterattack. Each exchange forced them into a worse position, their bodies responding slower with every clash.

They were being crushed.

"I can't believe we actually ran into a goddess..."

Ritsuka Fujimaru stared at the comical figure before her, her thoughts in complete disarray.

After pushing through the dense forest, they had finally reached the city of Ur. To everyone's surprise, the city showed no signs of monster attacks. Its walls were intact. Its streets were clean.

The citizens even told them they didn't need help from Uruk.

At first glance, it seemed like the best outcome they could have hoped for.

But that sense of relief didn't last.

Merlin noticed the inconsistency almost immediately. There were too few men in the city. Far too few.

After gathering the citizens together, he exposed the truth they had been hiding.

Ur had avoided divine punishment through human sacrifice.

One person, every single day.

That was the price.

Naturally, Ritsuka Fujimaru and the others couldn't accept it. Tension flared as arguments broke out, the atmosphere growing heavier by the second.

And then, the comical figure they had encountered on the road appeared again.

This time, she stopped pretending.

Her overwhelming power crushed all doubt.

"This person who calls herself Jaguar Man... she's actually this strong?"

Ritsuka Fujimaru's voice trembled with frustration as she watched Mash and Ana struggle.

"You can't judge a book by its cover," Merlin said calmly, helping Ritsuka back to her feet. "She's a god, after all."

He looked toward the battlefield, his expression composed.

"Without a Servant of equivalent divinity, we simply can't fight her."

"...So this is where it ends?"

The words felt heavy.

Ritsuka Fujimaru clenched her fists. Her gaze never left Mash and Ana, who were barely holding on under Jaguar Man's relentless pressure.

She had seen too much already.

Too many sacrifices. Too many lives lost.

And yet, even now, she still couldn't bring herself to abandon the people of this city.

But reality was cruel.

Mash and Ana were reaching their limit. Their movements were slowing. One mistake would be enough.

Just as Ritsuka made up her mind to order a retreat, Merlin spoke again.

"However, we might have another way."

Her head snapped toward him.

"What way!?"

"To call our assistant."

"...Assistant?"

Merlin smiled faintly.

"It's Mr. Shirou."

The words struck her instantly.

Ritsuka Fujimaru remembered.

She remembered what Shirou Emiya had said before they left Uruk.

When you encounter danger, don't hesitate.

As long as you call out, I will come.

Her hesitation disappeared.

Ritsuka clenched her fist and shouted with everything she had.

"Please help us, Mr. Shirou!"

The response was immediate.

The surrounding air twisted violently as a sudden gale swept through the area. The sky darkened. A massive storm descended from above, swallowing the battlefield in roaring wind.

"What the-!?"

Jaguar Man staggered back, arms raised defensively as the storm disrupted her footing.

She could feel it.

A powerful divine presence saturated the air.

"You actually brought a helper!? How despicable!"

She held her staff horizontally, shouting louder than necessary, though the confidence in her voice was thin.

Mash and Ana had already retreated to Ritsuka's side.

They didn't respond.

They simply waited.

Within the storm, footsteps echoed.

Steady. Unhurried.

A silhouette emerged through the swirling wind.

"See?" the figure said calmly. "I told you you'd run into a goddess."

Shirou Emiya stepped forward, divine spear in hand, rain and wind parting around him as if acknowledging his presence.

"Mr. Emiya."

"Emiya-senpai."

"Shirou!"

He smiled, lifting a hand in response to their voices, then turned his gaze toward Jaguar Man.

The air changed.

"You're the goddess of the dense forest," Shirou Emiya said evenly. "A member of the Three Goddess Alliance."

His voice was calm.

But it carried weight.

Jaguar Man felt it instantly.

"N-no! That's not me! It's Quetzalcoatl!"

She waved her hands frantically.

"The Three Goddess Alliance has nothing to do with me!"

Under the pressure radiating from Shirou Emiya, her earlier bravado vanished completely.

"You're lying!" Mash blurted out. "You clearly said you were the goddess of the dense forest before!"

"No, no, no! I was just making things up!"

Jaguar Man shook her arms wildly, trying to deny everything at once.

Shirou Emiya raised his spear.

"It doesn't matter," he said calmly. "Whether you are the goddess of the dense forest or not..."

His eyes sharpened.

"...since you hurt my friends, you'll pay it back. Double."

The moment the words fell, Shirou Emiya was already gone.

He appeared in front of Jaguar Man in an instant.

The golden divine spear descended like a bolt of judgment, crashing heavily against the weapon in her hands.

Jaguar Man barely managed to block it.

"Good martial arts!"

Shirou Emiya didn't pause.

The spear flowed seamlessly into the next attack, then the next. Each strike aimed at a vital point, precise and merciless.

Jaguar Man was forced entirely onto the defensive.

She could keep up-for now.

In terms of technique alone, she wasn't inferior.

But that was all.

In raw power, Shirou Emiya surpassed her.

In speed, he was faster.

In endurance, he was stronger.

The difference in basic attributes became clearer with every exchange.

Her footing slipped.

Her breathing grew uneven.

One mistimed step was all it took.

The spear tore through her defense.

Blood splashed onto the rain-soaked ground, mixing with the downpour as it flowed away.

Jaguar Man staggered back, wounded and shaken.

Under Shirou Emiya's relentless assault, she could no longer resist.
