----------------------------------------------------------

The next morning, Asher left Morgan Le Fay's room.

Actually, he felt he didn't need Morgan's protection at all.

Even if he couldn't defeat Vivian, he should still be able to protect himself... of course, provided Vivian wasn't aiming to kill. However, even if Asher told Morgan he wanted his own room, Morgan probably wouldn't agree. Not just Morgan, but Scathach probably wouldn't agree either. So, he didn't bother mentioning it. Anyway, Asher didn't have trouble sleeping in unfamiliar beds. Hmm... if anything, he was a bit unaccustomed at first, but when he slept last night with Morgan's arm wrapped around him and his arm resting on her ample chest, Asher instantly adapted.

After walking down the corridor for a while, Asher was about to head towards a certain room beside him. But just then, a young girl walked past him, her golden hair swaying gently. She also noticed Asher's gaze but simply walked past him in silence.

"Lily," Asher called out to her.

Artoria's steps paused slightly. She said respectfully, "Good morning, King Arthur." Her tone and expression seemed no different from the usual Artoria, but it was precisely this unchanging demeanor and tone that was strange. His relationship with Lily has gone back to square one... Asher muttered helplessly in his heart. If he had followed Lily's intentions that day, their relationship might not be so awkward, perhaps? It would definitely be better to have gone through with it than to stop abruptly halfway.

"If there's nothing else, I'll go get busy." Artoria said, then continued walking in the opposite direction from Asher.

But as she turned, the indifferent expression on her face gradually melted away. One could clearly see the tips of her ears beneath her golden hair were crimson, evidently recalling something embarrassing.

For example, what she had said to Asher before, and what she had done... Asher was right. After the effects of the medicine wore off for Artoria, some of the things she had said indeed became a dark past. Now, just thinking about them made her feel incredibly ashamed.

Asher watched Artoria leave, then sighed helplessly, shaking his head. It seemed he wouldn't be able to get along well with Lily in the short term. He could only hope to find a suitable opportunity to reconcile with her later.

Asher walked to the adjacent room and knocked on the door. Milo had previously made an agreement with Asher that she would hand over her territory to him, on the condition that she would reside in the palace and in the room next to King Arthur's. He initially thought the other party had some ulterior motive, but to Asher's surprise, Milo had been working diligently ever since, doing nothing wrong at all.

"Coming." A moment later, a girl's voice came from the room. Soon after, a young girl pushed open the door. She was wearing an elegant dress, with a graceful figure and fair, delicate skin tinged with a faint pink. When Milo looked up and saw the young man standing at the door, she was stunned.

"Arthur? Why are you coming to see me today?"

"I felt you were working hard managing those towns every day, and I felt a bit bad, so I wanted to come see you," Asher said. "I'm not disturbing you, am I?"

"How could you be? Serving the King has always been my dream," Milo said with a gentle smile, tilting her head slightly, her pink hair swaying gently. "Would you like to come in and sit, Arthur?" she said, opening the door and stepping back two paces, lowering her gaze slightly. Her alluring eyes suddenly gained a hint of darkness.

"No need, I want to talk to you about something. Is it convenient to go somewhere else?" Asher asked. Milo stared at Asher for a while, then suddenly chuckled softly. "Alright."

In the early morning garden, thick mist hung in the air. Asher and Milo, dressed in a black dress, walked through the garden.

"Arthur, I'm so happy! I never thought you'd come to visit me on your own." Milo gently clapped her hands, tilting her head slightly, at a perfectly cute angle that accentuated her profile beautifully.

Asher observed the surroundings as they walked, then subtly asked, "Sir Milo, you usually get up quite early.

Have you been ill these past two days? Or is something bothering you?" "If there's anything you need help with, please feel free to say so. I'll do my best to help."

"No, it's nothing really. I just went to bed late, so I couldn't get up," Milo said with a cute smile. Even though Asher knew it was a deliberately feigned cuteness, he still had to admit that she was indeed very cute.

"Is Arthur here to see me because of this?" Milo asked, looking at the clearly distracted Asher.

"Hmm, just concerned about my subordinates," Asher said, snapping out of it.

"Is that so," Milo gently leaned against Asher's shoulder, saying softly, "I thought Arthur had finally come to his senses."

"I've been waiting for you for so long." Her soft, slender hand quietly clasped Asher's. "Hey, Arthur. Compared to some older women, I'm better, right?" Asher didn't know how to answer Milo for a moment, his gaze somewhat unfixed.

"Arthur, are you perhaps waiting for someone?" Milo's voice pulled Asher back to reality. He immediately shook his head. "How could I be? It's just your imagination."

Milo held one of Asher's hands with both of hers, staring into his eyes for a moment. Her lips suddenly leaned forward, and her soft little tongue licked Asher's face.

"Sir Milo?!"

"Ah, I'm sorry. I just really wanted to see if Arthur was lying," Milo licked her lips. "It tastes like a lie, Arthur."

"Let me guess what you're thinking right now..." Milo gently took one of Asher's hands, raising her eyes. "You're thinking about how to test whether I'm Sir Milo... or Vivian, right?"

Almost at the instant these words fell, Asher abruptly pulled his hand away, creating distance between himself and Milo.

"You really are Vivian!"

"You already suspected me. Why are you so surprised now?" Vivian sighed softly. "I thought you preferred a naughty child like Milo over Guinevere, but it turns out you just wanted to confirm my identity. How disappointing." "Tell me, why do you like those older women? Compared to them, aren't younger girls more vibrant? Guinevere, Milo, or even Artoria... they're all quite good, aren't they? Why do you insist on getting tangled up with Scathach and Morgan?"

Asher remained silent, warily staring at Vivian. Milo was Vivian's evil aspect. He guessed that Milo probably didn't mind Vivian using her body. Last night, Vivian had likely used Milo's body to speak with Guinevere. If it was just simply borrowing Milo's body, Asher might not say anything, but she had clearly said something to Guinevere, otherwise Guinevere wouldn't have suddenly wanted to exchange the Sword of the Lake with Vivian last night. In that case, Vivian could not be left unchecked.

Vivian, however, ignored the wary Asher, slowly walking towards him, leisurely saying, "What is it about women like Morgan and Scathach that you like so much? Their bodies?" "If you knew their ages, you probably wouldn't like them~" "I don't know about Scathach, but for Morgan, she's probably this old." Vivian raised a finger and made a gesture indicating a number.

Asher's pupils slowly widened. Sister Morgan is actually that old?!

"Surprised, aren't you?" Vivian smiled triumphantly.

"Your Shishou's age should be about the same as Morgan's." Asher was indeed very surprised. Although he had known for a long time that Morgan and Scathach were old, he hadn't expected them to be so much older than him. No wonder she's so sensitive about her age...

Vivian looked at Asher's surprised expression and nodded with satisfaction. She herself didn't care about age, but a young man like Asher should care, right? The result was as she expected; upon hearing Morgan and Scathach's ages, Asher indeed looked very surprised. In this way, saying a little more should be enough to shake their position in King Arthur's heart. Since Morgan wouldn't give up King Arthur, then they just needed King Arthur to give up on his own.

Vivian's mouth slightly parted, about to continue speaking, but before the words could leave her lips, her voice suddenly paused. She looked up in a certain direction. A barrier seemed to envelop the garden in the air, and a sense of oppression instantly swept over them. And at the same time, a voice filled with rage came from afar.

"Gae Bolg Alternative!"

A red spear streaked like lightning, and a terrifying aura surged towards Vivian. Asher immediately retreated to avoid being caught in the crossfire.

"This again?" Vivian smiled and shook her head, twisting her body and disappearing from her spot. "This kind of move is only good for dealing with small fries. It's not quite enough to deal with me."

"Gate of Skye."

Before the voice faded, a gate that seemed to herald ill omens opened in mid-air. The magical and otherworldly realms cut off from the world, that is the "gate" of the Land of Shadows. The Gate of the Magical Realm brimming with death.

Vivian's expression changed. She looked up and saw a circular, tunnel-like portal emitting a terrifying aura of death and suction. Everything around it was rapidly being pulled towards that gate. Although she resisted the suction with great difficulty, Vivian felt her magic being rapidly absorbed by that gate, as if endlessly.

In the distance, a woman with long, flowing hair walked towards Asher. She wasn't worried about Asher's safety.

Those recognized by the Land of Shadows didn't need to worry about being sucked into that great gate and dying.

However, Scathach's face was clearly not looking good.

In just the short time it took her to set up the barrier, Vivian had said all sorts of nonsensical things to her disciple. By the time the Gate of the Magical Realm closed, Vivian was in a disheveled state. She was gasping heavily, her hair disheveled, and her eyes held an incredulous look as she stared at Scathach. She truly hadn't expected this woman to hide such a deadly move.

There was no choice but to temporarily retreat today.

Vivian's eyes flickered, just as she was about to separate from Milo, but then, footsteps were heard approaching from a distance, one by one. High heels clacked on the ground, making a heart-pounding sound. Soon, Morgan Le Fay's figure appeared before Vivian.

"Morgan..." Vivian subconsciously uttered the name, her pupils reflecting the woman's exquisite features.

"Vivian, I told Ash before that because I felt I owed you, I wouldn't make a move, as that is my personal bottom line." Morgan gave Vivian a gentle smile.

Vivian's eyes widened considerably. Ah... what a truly healing and gentle smile, she thought.

"Die!" Morgan snapped her fingers.
