----------------------------------------------------------

In the room, warm lamplight enveloped it, illuminating the faces of the two girls. Outside, the wind and rain swayed, and raindrops densely hit the glass window.

Uathach remained silent, simply gazing at Artoria. This alone made Artoria involuntarily lower her gaze, her brilliant golden eyes appearing somewhat dim. This girl, who always maintained a calm demeanor in front of Asher, now looked very embarrassed, consistently avoiding Uathach's gaze. It was understandable, after all, she had done some things to offend Uathach, so feeling guilty was only natural.

Earlier, Asher had given her the antidote. Although it couldn't completely remove the aphrodisiac incense she had initially inhaled, it did restore much of her original personality.

The righteous girl, upon realizing that she had attempted to do that to Asher in that room, and then said some embarrassing things to him afterwards, felt an urge to bury her face in a pillow and sleep for a long time without waking up. Asher's suggestion at the time was right: the more she said and did while "blackened," the more it would become a dark history after she recovered.

"So, Ash kissed you?" Uathach asked calmly. Compared to her usual cheerfulness, the girl now appeared much more composed, yet she exuded an inexplicable sense of pressure. Artoria nodded silently. She had told Uathach most of what happened, or rather, there were many things she had intended to gloss over, but Uathach had caught on to the clues and pressed her for answers.

Uathach rested her chin on her hand, gazing at Artoria for a long time, then suddenly smiled. "Is that so? I thought he'd be having a hard time here. Turns out he's living quite comfortably." Not only Morgan, but he didn't even spare Lily, a girl who was only sixteen.

"Um, I made the first move..." Artoria couldn't help but defend Asher.

"I know," Uathach said with a faint smile.

"Aren't you angry?" Artoria hesitated for a moment, then looked up and asked.

"Of course not" Uathach lightly coughed. "Of course I'm very angry, but you're also my good friend, and you've helped Ash so much. This much is within my acceptable range."

"But as compensation, it would be great if you could describe in detail what happened with Ash in the dressing room at that time." Her eyes seemed to glow as she finished speaking. Artoria was stunned. "K-kissing is also within your acceptable range...?" How wide was this girl's acceptable range? And if she didn't mind what she did to Ash, did that mean she also didn't mind Royal Sister... or even Shishou? It was truly hard to understand what Asher's sister was thinking. Did she truly not mind, as she claimed? Could there be a person with such a broad mind?

"Yes, otherwise I would have been angry the moment I heard you and Ash kissed. How could I be so calm now?"

Uathach stretched out her fair hand and placed it on Artoria's face, smiling sweetly. "But I don't look angry at all right now, do I?" Artoria remained silent. She couldn't quite understand the girl in front of her. Was her current smile a facade of strength, or did she genuinely not care?

"Can I ask you a question?" Uathach's voice pulled Artoria back to reality.

"What?"

"

What did it feel like to kiss Ash?"

"..." Was this girl really doing this to torture her as revenge?! Artoria's heart skipped a beat, feeling a lump in her throat. She wanted to say something, but when she thought of that scene, her mind became a mess.

Thump-thump.

"Lily, I've brought the antidote." Just then, Asher's voice came from outside the door. Then, he pushed the door open.

Artoria's shoulder twitched slightly. When she looked up, she saw Asher placing the antidote by the bed, not forgetting to repeatedly warn her, "Don't knock over the antidote this time." Artoria didn't say anything, silently staring at Asher's lips. Noticing Uathach's playful gaze, the temperature on her small face gradually rose, and she softly "hmm"-ed. Asher looked at Artoria strangely, but didn't press her, only muttering to himself:

Why is Lily suddenly blushing so much? What did Sister talk to her about?

Thinking this, Asher's gaze instinctively fell on Uathach.

"Are you done with your business? If you're done, go out," Uathach sat upright on the bed, her hands on her knees.

She looked up at Asher and reached out to pinch his cheek. "We'll have a good chat after Sister's business here is done!" As she finished speaking, she seemed to have a hint of gnashing anger, yet there was no trace of anger in her eyes. Instead, a certain excited glow flickered in them. Asher secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Good, if she's willing to talk to me, it means Sister isn't truly angry.

"Then I'll go out now. You two rest early," Asher said, then left the room. As he stepped out, he looked back at the two girls in the room again. "Lily, remember to drink the antidote"

"I know!" Artoria stood up and closed the door. Feeling the young man's footsteps fading outside, she slowly let out a sigh of relief.

However, just then, a figure quietly overshadowed her. When Artoria looked up, she saw Uathach approaching her with a smile. "Let's continue our conversation from just now~"

For some reason, Artoria suddenly felt that this sweet-looking girl in front of her was the true witch. Making her orally recount every single detail of what she did with Asher... Was this really not an execution?!

He really couldn't understand what Sister Uathach was thinking. Asher rubbed his forehead, letting out a slight sigh. He had thought he would be met with Sister Uathach's angry interrogation, but not only was she not angry, it seemed she and Lily were getting along quite well. While this was a good thing, it made him feel increasingly uneasy.

The more he thought about it, the more annoyed he became. Asher gripped the Caliburn in his hand and walked towards the training grounds. At this point, only training could dispel the annoyance in his heart. After all, it was still early, and even if he returned to his room, he would only feel anxious, worrying about Uathach.

Asher quickly arrived at the training grounds, looking at

the somewhat dim surroundings. Faint drizzles of rain floated down, blurring his vision slightly.

"It seems someone's here." Asher suddenly noticed a

figure wielding a long spear in the center of the wide training grounds. Each of that figure's attacks was accompanied by a swift whooshing sound, cutting through the falling raindrops. The red light was particularly conspicuous in the gloom. But even more conspicuous was the woman wielding the long spear.

Even the darkness couldn't conceal her brilliance. She seemed to be unaware of anyone nearby. She raised her long spear, and a faint glow appeared in her hand.

Asher simply sat on a high platform to the side, quietly gazing at Scathach. The faint light at Scathach's fingertips seemed to turn into daylight in the next instant, completely illuminating the gloomy training grounds. At that moment, the clouds dissipated, the rain cleared, and the sky brightened, as if all the light in the world was concentrated on her alone. Scathach's beautiful purple hair gently swayed in the wind.

As if remembering something troublesome, her brows furrowed slightly, her lips parted slightly, and she softly chanted some complex characters. The daylight slowly disappeared.

Asher pursed his lips, instinctively holding his breath. This woman was always so alluring, powerful and aloof, breathtakingly beautiful. Even though she hadn't done anything wrong before, he still felt a vague unease in his heart. His eyes refused to move away from Scathach, afraid that this beautiful scene would disappear with just a blink.

Until the light gradually faded, Scathach seemed to notice. She turned her head and saw the young man sitting on the high platform, then licked her dry lips. The faint light illuminated her alluring cherry lips, which seemed to shimmer with a delicate luster. "Come here," she said, gently beckoning Asher with her finger. Asher, after a brief moment of stunned surprise, didn't hesitate for a moment. He leaped down from the high platform.

Only scattered raindrops remained. He stepped on the shallow puddles on the ground and walked in front of Scathach.

"It seems we have the same idea," Scathach looked at Asher for a few moments, a faint smile on her face. Both wanted to relieve their troubled minds in this way.

"No spear today?" Scathach glanced at the Caliburn in Asher's hand. Asher silently gazed at the woman who had once captivated him, recalling her stance as she wielded the spear and the perfect figure accentuated by her tight clothing. He couldn't help but secretly swallow.

"Sometimes I want to use other weapons too," he said, slightly lowering his head to the ground, answering casually.

Scathach's lips curved into a faint, unintentional arc. Looking down at the young man, she gently touched his hair. "It's good to practice other weapons occasionally.

Take this opportunity, and I'll teach you swordsmanship again."

"Does Shishou also know swordsmanship?" Asher asked softly. Smelling the faint fragrance that wafted as the woman approached him, he felt his cheeks unconsciously flush.

"Who told you I only know spear arts? I know a little bit of everything when it comes to weapons." Scathach raised her cool fingertips, slowly tracing down Asher's hair. When her fingertips touched his face, her movement paused for a moment. "Your face is so hot, do you have a fever?"

"No..." Without giving Asher a chance to speak, her other hand pushed back Asher's bangs. She slightly squatted down, pressing her forehead against the young man's forehead.

"It doesn't seem like a fever. Then what's wrong?"

Scathach pretended to look puzzled, gazing into Asher's eyes, appearing utterly confused.

"Shishou, if Sister Uathach saw us..." Asher's body was slightly stiff, and his expression was a little unnatural. He didn't know what to do.

"Given the environment here, even if you shouted at the top of your lungs, no one would probably hear you. And the visibility on the training ground is very low; even if something happened, it wouldn't be clearly seen."

Scathach said this, then smiled faintly, her fingers tracing Asher's face.

"It seems it's not a fever. That's great. This way, I can confidently teach you swordsmanship." As her fingertips brushed his face, Asher seemed to see a soft expression flash across his Shishou's face. But soon, she became the Queen of the Land of Shadows again, unattainable and daunting.

"You should know the most basic swordsmanship, so I won't go over introductory swordsmanship from scratch.

First, raise your sword. I will demonstrate a new sword technique for you step by step." Asher raised his sword as Scathach instructed, then looked up and asked, "And then?" Scathach came to Asher's side and pressed his shoulder. Asher, following Scathach's movements, naturally followed her actions. Finally, the sword he held remained in a strange posture.

"No, it's still a little too high," Scathach said softly. "This is too low." Looking at the young man who had lowered his sword slightly, she shook her head again.

"This is too difficult, isn't it?" Asher said helplessly.

Sometimes too high, sometimes too low, Shishou's demands were as strict as ever.

"It's just that you haven't Shishoued it yet. As the saying goes, all things are difficult before they are easy." A clear voice, mixed with softness, sounded from behind Asher. Two highly oppressive soft masses also pressed against his back, and a warm aura quietly enveloped Asher. Asher's entire body stiffened instantly. Even without looking back, he could imagine what the scene behind him looked like.

"Relax your body," Scathach's strict voice sounded again. Asher came back to his senses, quickly shook his head, and tried to concentrate.

Focus, focus! Shishou is very strict during training; I absolutely cannot be distracted by such a small thing, or she'll reprimand me!

Scathach held his wrist from behind Asher, her graceful body almost completely pressed against his. Her hand manipulated Asher, making him maintain a sword-holding posture.

Well... how could I possibly concentrate in this

situation?!

Fortunately, although his mind was chaotic, Asher's body naturally relaxed, so Scathach didn't notice how extremely nervous he was at the moment. After a moment, the softness behind him quietly left, and Scathach walked to Asher's side.

"Keep this posture for now. I'll teach you the next step in a moment." This wasn't the first time for such training, so Asher naturally allowed his body to freeze in place, but his heart was still savoring the wonderful sensation of Scathach's body pressed against him earlier.

Perhaps I should have done a little more that night... he couldn't help but think.

"Have you seen your sister?" Scathach's voice came from the side.

"Yes, she and Lily were talking about something, but they seemed to be getting along quite naturally," Asher answered subconsciously.

"Quite naturally?" Scathach was slightly stunned. "You mean, that child already knows what Lily did to you?"

"She knows," Asher replied.

Scathach's expression froze for a moment, and for the

first time, a hint of confusion appeared in her eyes. Her daughter knew what Lily had done to her disciple, yet remained calm? That was truly strange... A cold wind brushed past. Scathach gently pushed back her hair, which was slightly dishevelled by the wind, and looked up, gazing at the young man in front of her again. The more she thought about these things, the more annoying they became. She would just slowly consider them after returning tonight.

As for now... Scathach's fair, hand once again covered Asher's hand. Training her disciple was more important...

"Relax a little, relax. Are you still afraid I'll do something to you?" Feeling the young man's slightly stiff body, Scathach's voice came again. "You showed good talent in swordsmanship before, so why can't you learn the sword technique I want to teach you today?"

Scathach shook her head slightly. "Still too unfocused."

"Sorry." Asher knew his performance tonight had disappointed his Shishou and answered very apologetically. His Shishou was diligently teaching him swordsmanship, yet his mind was filled with other random thoughts. Thinking about it made him truly ashamed.

"It's fine. It's understandable to be in a bad state occasionally. After all, with Uathach's arrival today, your thoughts must be completely jumbled," Scathach withdrew her hand and walked in front of Asher, placing her fingertip on the tip of the Caliburn. "Come to my room tonight. I'll explain it to you thoroughly again."
