Asher returned to his room and lay down on the bed, faintly hearing the soft breaths of a girl beside him.
He turned his head to look. This sister was sleeping soundly, seemingly completely unconcerned about being in a boy's room and facing any misfortune.
"Sister's self-preservation awareness is too low, isn't it?" Asher muttered.
A teenage girl in the prime of her youth was sleeping soundly on his bed. From her deep sleep, it seemed she wouldn't even notice if something were done secretly.
Being trusted so much by Uathach was gratifying, but also quite sad.
It was as if he was being underestimated; Uathach completely believed he wouldn't do anything to her.
Asher looked at Uathach's sleeping face, then quickly forced his gaze away and pulled up the blanket.
The fatigue from a day of training and the mental shock from Morgan and Scathach's successive visits hit him at once. Asher quickly felt a wave of drowsiness, slowly closed his eyes, and soon drifted off to sleep.
And just as Asher fell asleep, the girl who should have been deeply asleep quietly opened her eyes.
"Ash?" she whispered.
Naturally, the deeply sleeping Asher couldn't possibly hear Uathach's voice.
"I didn't expect not only Mother but even Morgan to sneak in," Uathach grumbled, looking at the sleeping Asher. "Mother said not to disturb Ash's rest, but if I hadn't been smart, I probably would have remained oblivious."
"Speaking of which, Ash is too timid, isn't he? I was already asleep, yet he was still so cowardly."
Uathach stared at Asher for a while, then gently pressed her forehead against Asher's chest, her fingers lightly tracing the gradually fading mark on his neck.
"Looks like it's almost gone?" Uathach murmured to herself.
How could she believe stories about a death goddess's mark or an injury from battle?
Did they really think she was stupid? How could she not see something so obvious?
"One was left by Morgan, and the other, according to what Lily said last night, was left by that girl named Milo, but it's gone now..."
Uathach's fingers slowly caressed, like a small cat, gently sniffing as she slowly moved closer to Asher's neck.
"Should I leave one too?"
Darkness enveloped the girl. Uathach looked at the mark on Asher's neck, her eyes flickering slightly as she pondered for a long time.
Ultimately, she decided against it. She felt that rather than leaving such a mark, it would be more practical to write "Uathach's Exclusive" or something similar on Ash's arm or body.
Finally, Uathach lay back down on the bed, embracing one of Asher's arms like a pillow, and soon fell into a deep sleep.
Not long after that, a raven flew to the window. After circling once, it lightly flew into the room and quickly transformed into a graceful figure.
Morgan Le Fay glanced at the girl beside her and chuckled softly.
"What an innocent child."
She held her high-heeled sandals in her hand and tiptoed silently to the bedside, casually placing the sandals down. She leaned over Asher, observing the mark on his neck.
"I noticed earlier that this seems to have faded a lot... Though it's not good to do this, he probably won't mind, right?"
After murmuring to herself, Morgan Le Fay's lips slowly approached.
But her lips stopped before touching Asher's neck.
Hmm... Doing it secretly like this isn't fun. It would be more meaningful if he actively sought me out.
Thinking this, Morgan glanced at the sleeping girl beside her, a faint curve on her lips.
Although this child's thoughts exceeded her imagination, this felt like it would be even more fun.
For now, she would just go back. Teasing Scathach once or twice a day was enough; if she did it too many times, that woman would probably really explode.
If possible, she still didn't want to have real friction with Scathach.
After all, that woman was her future "mother."
Hmm... Come to think of it, won't my "children" have to call Scathach "Grandma" in the future?
Morgan almost burst out laughing at the thought, luckily she covered her mouth in time, but her eyes became even more delighted.
The thought of leading Gawain and the others in the future, pointing to Scathach and saying, "This is your Grandma," and then imagining Scathach's difficult expression, made her feel even more amused.
"Goodnight," Morgan said as she left, her finger tracing Asher's face, then chuckled softly and vanished into the night.
---
The next day.
Asher slowly opened his eyes in a haze, feeling his arm wrapped in something soft. He turned his head and saw Uathach clutching his arm, still deeply asleep.
Perhaps it was her sleeping posture, or something else, but large expanses of her youthful skin were exposed, her developing chest vaguely visible.
Asher glanced, tried to pull his hand free, but Uathach held on too tightly, making it impossible to break free.
There's nothing I can do about my sister... Is she really still asleep?
Asher thought helplessly, then secretly glanced again.
She's probably still asleep, right? As he thought this, his gaze couldn't help but peek at her fair, tender thighs again.
Her nightdress had already shifted up quite a bit during her deep sleep last night. The thin fabric couldn't hide her fair skin, and coupled with her seemingly unblemished pretty face, Asher felt fortunate that he was a relatively proper person; otherwise, he probably would have lost control already.
Should he wake her?
Asher thought, while secretly glancing at his sister again.
Sister seems to have matured quite a bit... Asher mumbled to himself.
"You seem quite troubled. Do you need help?" A calm voice suddenly came from beside him.
"No, thank you—" Asher's voice stopped. He turned his head to look.
Artoria was sitting at the bedside, at some point, calmly looking at Asher.
"...Lily, when did you come in?"
"I came in after I woke up this morning. To avoid waking you, I came through the window," Artoria said. "Did I disturb you?"
Why does it sound like something happened between me and Sister Uathach last night?!
Asher inwardly grumbled fiercely, but his face remained calm. He just shook his head, "It's fine. Sister Uathach also told you yesterday evening that she was coming to find me, right?"
"Mm," Artoria nodded. "But she didn't say she'd stay here all night."
Speaking of which, she paused slightly, "Do you want to continue sleeping? Actually, I think getting up now is perfect. If you sleep longer, your training schedule will be disrupted."
"I'll get up now," Asher said, trying to get up, but felt the hands still tightly clinging to his arm.
Asher turned his head again to look at Uathach, who was still deeply asleep, and sighed helplessly.
Although he wanted to get up, Uathach was holding on too tightly right now. If he pulled his hand away forcefully, she would definitely wake up.
The girl was going home today, and if possible, he wanted his sister to sleep a little longer.
Just as he thought this, the girl sleeping on the soft bed frowned slightly.
"Mmm~" Then, she let out a slight, misleading moan, and then slowly opened her eyes.
Her usually clear purple eyes were now filled with confusion and drowsiness. When she noticed Asher's gaze, she vaguely said, "Good morning."
Good, that saves me from having to consider whether to wake Sister Uathach.
"Good morning," Asher felt a sudden relief and said good morning.
"Lily is here too," Uathach glanced at the girl beside her, then released his hand, sat on the bed, rubbed her sleepy eyes, and then seemed to enter power-saving mode, sitting on the bed in a daze.
"What's wrong with her?" Artoria asked curiously, unable to resist poking Uathach's cheek.
"Hmm... She probably needs a bit of a buffer time after waking up," Asher said, then reminded her, "It's best not to bother her right now. Sister Uathach gets grumpy in the mornings."
"I see," Artoria withdrew her hand and nodded seriously.
A few minutes later, Uathach finally emerged from her previous daze, her pupils regaining their usual brightness. She looked down at her disheveled nightgown and looked at Asher in surprise.
"Ash... last night, you didn't..."
"How could I?! I didn't do anything!" Asher loudly interrupted Uathach.
"Didn't do anything?" Uathach frowned. "Could it be that you're a girl, and that's why you're not interested in me?"
Asher: "..."
"Because think about it, such a beautiful girl is lying by your bed, and you didn't do anything at all. The other person says they want to sleep with you, and you really just slept with them. You're too strange, aren't you?"
Uathach looked at Asher as if he were a monster.
"Sister, if you put it that way, when we used to sleep together, should I have been touching you too?" Asher said helplessly.
They had slept together before, and even bathed together, and Uathach never brought up such things back then. Why was she only bringing it up now?
"Hmm... You have a point there," Uathach nodded gently. "But it's different now. Sister's figure has developed so well now. Don't you really have any thoughts about me?"
"No," Asher said, averting his gaze.
Uathach frowned slightly, about to continue speaking, when Artoria interrupted their conversation,
"If you're talking about Asher having inappropriate thoughts about you, then I think he does. He secretly looked at you several times while you were sleeping just now."
So, sometimes not saying anything means no one will think you're mute, Lily!
Watching Asher glare at Artoria as if enraged, Uathach gently poked Asher's waist,
"If you like it, just say so. Sister isn't petty like that; I won't get angry over such a small matter. Boys, especially during puberty, it's understandable, understandable~"
Asher silently covered his face, "Stop talking."
"He's shy, he's shy, so easily shy," Uathach's eyes became even more amused. She leaned on Asher's back. "As expected, sister's charm is still great."
Feeling the friction from the girl's back, Asher's previous embarrassment faded quite a bit.
Hmm... Sister's touch really is very different from Sister Morgan's.
The difference in appeal!
Knock, knock.
A knock came from outside the room. After Artoria said, "Come in," the girl with white-blonde shoulder-length hair opened the door.
Seeing the siblings playing around, Guinevere paused slightly, then offered an awkward yet elegant smile,
"Perhaps I should come back later?"
"It's fine... We're just messing around with my sister," Asher said, then gently patted Uathach's small hand.
Uathach immediately understood and released her grip.
One must give face to one's younger brother in front of others.
Guinevere then entered the room.
"Actually, I came in earlier, but seeing that you were still sleeping, I felt it inappropriate to disturb you, so I waited outside," Guinevere said, noticing Asher's gaze after entering the room, an apologetic expression on her face.
"I apologize, I'll be more careful next time."
"Shouldn't the door be locked?" Asher was slightly startled.
"I opened the door," Artoria said.
Asher looked at the Aho-King beside him and almost forgot, this fellow had climbed in through the window.
Speaking of which, climbing through windows doesn't really fit a knight, does it?!
"By the way, is something wrong, Princess Guinevere?" Uathach asked.
"It's nothing major... I just felt that you seemed to be sleeping a bit late today, so I wanted to come and check," Guinevere's small face showed a hint of loneliness as she finished speaking.
Asher was puzzled.
She came all this way early in the morning just for this?
"Is it because you didn't have many friends in your previous country?" Uathach attempted to analyze.
"Because yesterday we were in the garden early in the morning, but today you were late for so long and weren't there, and you had nothing to do alone in your room, so you came to find us?"
"Is that it?" Asher asked.
Guinevere nodded gently,
"Is that funny... to come and find you just because I was too bored?"
"Not at all," Artoria shook her head. "If you don't mind, you can come find us whenever you want to chat in the future."
Guinevere's eyes brightened slightly as she looked at Artoria,
"Really?"
Artoria nodded slightly again.
"Can I call you Lily?" Guinevere asked.
Artoria nodded again.
Asher silently watched the two of them converse, and their gazes meeting, feeling a quiet sigh in his heart: Lily is truly good at charming people.
Although it was just a few simple words, seeing Guinevere's expression, it was clear that her favorability towards Artoria had greatly increased, which was evident from her current gaze.
"I wonder if Shishou is sparring with anyone in the courtyard today. Should we go and see?" Asher suggested.
No one had any objections, so they all left the room together. However, shortly after stepping out of the room, they saw Scathach standing at the end of the long corridor.
Scathach was still wearing her usual tight-fitting attire today, her perfect figure eye-catching. Asher's gaze lingered on her for a moment.
Scathach seemed to sense Asher's gaze. She turned her head and happened to meet Asher's eyes, then a faint smile appeared on her face,
"You woke up later today than yesterday."
"I was too tired yesterday, and I went to bed a bit late, I apologize..."
Upon hearing Asher's reply, Scathach seemed to recall last night's events. Noticing her daughter's gaze from the side, she said as if unconcerned,
"It's fine to relax occasionally, but you can't do this every day."
As she spoke, Scathach turned to look at Asher, her gaze casual, but suddenly, her eyes narrowed slightly, staring intently at the mark on Asher's neck.
Still playing this game?
That woman, Morgan...
Scathach's eyes seemed to burn with anger.
Once or twice was enough, but a third time? If it was a provocation, that woman certainly succeeded!
"I'll go back to normal early morning training later," Asher said. He vaguely felt that the atmosphere was off and asked,
"Shishou, is something wrong?"
Uathach also looked at her mother in confusion, not knowing what was happening.
Artoria and Guinevere exchanged glances. The former's eyes remained calm, while the latter's were filled with curiosity, completely unaware of what was going on.
Noticing everyone's gaze fixed on her, Scathach finally regained her composure and gently shook her head,
"It's nothing. You all go about your business."
Asher was somewhat baffled, but seeing the faint dangerous aura emanating from Scathach, he didn't dare to disturb his Shishou now and could only walk towards the hall.
"What's going on? It's so lively here."
Just then, a gentle voice came. As the others turned their heads, Morgan Le Fay arrived before them with unhurried steps.
"Your face doesn't look so good, does it? Did something make you very angry?" Morgan Le Fay noticed the anger in Scathach's eyes as she looked at her and chuckled softly.
"Logically, it shouldn't be, right? I didn't do anything."
"Of course, I just haven't done anything yet~" she added lightly.
"Are you trying to say that has nothing to do with you?" Scathach turned to Asher, specifically to the new mark on his neck, which perfectly covered Morgan's original mark.
"What do you mean?" Morgan looked puzzled. She followed Scathach's gaze, her eyes fixing on the mark on Asher's neck.
A sound like something snapping in the invisible air echoed. Morgan Le Fay's eyes shifted from their original gentleness to chilling coldness in less than a second.
"Who did it?" Morgan Le Fay stared at the mark on Asher's neck, her narrow, beautiful eyes gleaming with a sinister light, like a venomous snake staring at Asher, making Asher, who had been completely bewildered since moments ago, even more confused.
