Caspian stood from his seat and walked towards Lucien, who still had an angry look on his face. Everyone was getting worried and he wasn't saying anything.
"Why isn't he speaking?"
"Is it an attack? Should we deploy the soldiers already?"
They were murmuring among themselves but Lucien was already squeezing the letter in his hand just so the crown prince wouldn't see it.
"Is there an issue?" He asked.
"It's nothing serious." He spoke and they all heaved a breath of relief, except Caspian. "However, I must excuse myself,"
Caspian furrowed his brows. He knew something was up but he couldn't figure it out.
'I'm sure it's about Rin. If not, there's no way he would make such a face,'
"I'll be on my way. I'll return tomorrow," he said and walked towards the door. Cassian's gaze followed him as different thoughts rushed to his head. He wanted to stop Lucien from going, especially if he was leaving to see Rin.
