Chapter 201 - Chapter 201: The Blood of the Light and Dark Holy Dragons

In Heaven Dou City, within the Blacksmith Association—

"So you're here to borrow money from me?" Zhen Hua gave Gu You a speechless glance.

"You're a blacksmith. How could you ever be short on money?"

"It's a long story..."

Gu You began recounting his recent experiences.

"You kidnapped two hundred-thousand-year-old soul beasts from the Spirit Pagoda?" Zhen Hua inhaled sharply.

"Exactly. And with the addition of those rare ten-thousand-year soul beasts that got drained in the process, I now owe enough debt to last a few centuries." Gu You lay flat on the sofa, arms sprawled.

"I can't help you pay it all off, but I can lend you some money for now. You're going to the Heaven Dou International Auction, right?"

"That's right! It's a global auction—there has to be plenty of treasures that suit me." Gu You grinned.

"I'm going too. You can come with me," said Zhen Hua.

"Deal. We'll leave tomorrow!"

...

At the International Union in Heaven Dou City—

This was an alliance founded jointly by the last three remaining federal nations of the Douluo Continent. It covered everything from resource trading to commercial exchanges.

Traveling with Zhen Hua were two Soul Douluos. As a Divine Craftsman, his status naturally demanded protection.

From the outside, the auction venue was vast and imposing. It was divided into sixteen auction halls, each capable of accommodating over a hundred people. Altogether, more than 1,600 people could participate.

Those seated inside were all influential figures, hailing from powerful backgrounds and diverse regions. Although the auction had no official entry requirements, one's financial capability was the real test. As long as you had enough wealth, you were welcome to bid.

That said, there were still levels of access. Outsiders watched from external screens, while true guests sat inside the halls.

If Gu You hadn't come with Zhen Hua, he might have ended up just standing outside like a wide-eyed spectator.

They entered a long staircase laid with red carpet, wide enough for five people to walk abreast, descending deep into the earth. There were no guides at the entrance.

Roughly twenty meters down, they reached the registration area. Zhen Hua had already handled all the formalities, handing everyone a numbered token. With these, they were led by a young lady in a flowing blue dress further inside.

Through a carved wooden door, the world transformed in an instant. Before them unfolded a corridor of gold. Its opulence exceeded even that of the first floor of the Spirit Pagoda.

The passage was over ten meters wide, paved with priceless white jade tiles. Every ten meters, twin pillars carved with ornate patterns stood proudly on either side. The walls were adorned with gilded engravings so fine and intricate that even Gu You, with his superior spiritual sense, was astonished. And this was just decoration!

From the vaulted ceiling hung exquisite crystal chandeliers, casting a soft amber glow. The corridor was five meters high, and the interplay of light and golden walls created a dazzling, three-dimensional grandeur that overwhelmed the senses.

Eventually, they passed through another grand door—not yet at the corridor's end—and entered a waiting chamber that opened into a larger space.

"This is Auction Hall Sixteen," the hostess announced respectfully. "It holds up to 108 guests. Please be seated; the auction items will be presented on the soul screen shortly."

The lighting dimmed as they entered, leaving only the wall lamps glowing softly. Everyone was handed a decorative mask upon entry to protect their identity.

Gu You and Zhen Hua each picked one.

The decor here was entirely different—classical and elegant, exuding warmth and nobility. The plush chairs were covered in deep-blue velvet, arranged in an arched formation.

"Sit," Zhen Hua whispered, nodding toward Gu You's seat number.

Looking around, Gu You found his place. The hall was already nearly seventy percent full.

Moments later, the hall dimmed further.

"Welcome to this year's International Auction," came a smooth female voice, echoing from every direction. "Jointly hosted by the Star Luo Federation and the Heaven Dou Empire, today's auction features a variety of rare treasures from across the world."

"The auction will now begin. Please take your seats."

As the lights returned, a graceful woman in a crimson gown walked onto the stage. She appeared around thirty years old, with a poised and elegant presence.

"Ladies and gentlemen, here are today's items. Only today's auction items will be revealed—tomorrow's can be seen only then. Each session ends with a mysterious treasure unveiled last."

Her voice, amplified by a soul-powered sound device, carried smoothly across the hall.

"Anything you're looking for?" Zhen Hua asked, glancing sideways at Gu You.

Gu You was momentarily dazzled. The list of auction items was overwhelming—some were outright legendary.

But his focus quickly locked onto one item. His spiritual sense extended toward the soul screen at the front of the hall, picking out a few key words that caught his eye.

"Special Dual-Dragon Blood."

The image displayed two vials—one filled with golden liquid, the other with black. Each bottle's contents spun in a slow, swirling vortex.

"I want that one!" Gu You pointed decisively at the screen. He already knew what those were—blood from the Light Holy Dragon and Dark Holy Dragon. There were certain soul beasts he intended to refine, and they needed a catalyst. These two blood types were perfect for that purpose. Plus, the light and dark auras could even be partially absorbed by himself.

"Understood," Zhen Hua replied calmly, not prying into what Gu You wanted with dragon blood.

Soon, the preview phase ended. The auction officially began.

"Please bring out the first item!"

Two staff members in purple formal attire entered. Together, they carefully carried a draped item onto the stage.

When they reached the center, they lifted the cloth.

A blinding purple light filled the hall.

"Whoa!"

Gasps erupted from every corner.

"A soul bone!"

The auctioneer smiled. "You guessed right. This is a soul bone—specifically, a head-type bone suitable for spiritual-type soul masters. But let me clarify—the soul bone is only six hundred years old."

"Huh?" Gu You raised a brow. "A six-hundred-year soul beast could drop a soul bone? What kind of drop rate is that? And is the soul master who got that bone even still alive...?"
