Reinsfeld is a rapidly growing city whose economic expansion is largely driven by the vision and iron-fisted control of a single man: the baron. Over the past few years, he has transformed what was once a modest settlement into a thriving industrial hub, with centralized production of soap, ironworks, brickmaking, and large-scale construction materials. These sectors are not merely encouraged—they are dominated by enterprises directly overseen or financed by the baronial house, often supported by private troops and political leverage.

This concentration of economic power has resulted in bustling markets, plentiful goods, and a steady influx of migrants drawn by work and opportunity. Trade routes through Reikland have begun to recognize Reinsfeld as a rising node of regional commerce. Yet beneath the surface of prosperity, tension brews. Independent artisans and small-scale merchants have grown increasingly anxious, fearing that if the baron takes interest in their line of work, he will use his usual methods—financial supremacy, forceful legal pressure, and even military intimidation—to crush competition and absorb control. For now, many prosper in the shadow of the city's growth, but the looming presence of centralized authority threatens to smother the spirit of free craft and local independence.

-------

Reinsfeld presents a complex and evolving landscape. A large portion of the population holds deep admiration for their baron, viewing him as a protector and patron who genuinely cares for the well-being of his people. His efforts to keep the surrounding forests free of beastmen, ensure that roads remain safe and clear, and fund local temples—particularly those of Sigmar and Shallya—have earned him the loyalty and gratitude of many. His generous support of religious institutions has helped the sick, fed the poor, and reinforced a sense of civic pride in a city once forgotten by the Empire.

However, beneath this strong image of unity lies growing social tension. The massive influx of migrants from other Imperial provinces—Talabecland, Ostland, Middenland, Stirland, and beyond—has dramatically altered the city's cultural makeup. Long-time Reikland natives have been forced to adapt to new neighbors, new customs, and, in many cases, the erosion of traditional community boundaries. The baron's vision of a unified Imperial identity—asserting that all citizens of the Empire are one people—has clashed with the lived reality of cultural distinctions. His policy of enforcing multicultural integration has led to the development of neighborhoods where every street corner reflects a different dialect, dress, and tradition. While the result is a vibrant mosaic of Imperial life, it has also created friction, especially among those who feel their way of life is being diluted. In Reinsfeld, coexistence is no longer optional—it is law. Whether this forced unity can hold in the long term remains to be seen.

Sigmarite College

"For the Empire to endure, its people must think, read… and wield the sword." – The Baron of Reinsfeld

Building Type: Civic / Educational Institution Location: Central district of Reinsfeld

funded by the baron, the Sigmarite College is a revolutionary institution within the Empire. Neither a temple nor an arcane academy, it is a massive public school designed to prepare future generations to serve the Empire with body, mind, and faith. The curriculum includes literacy, Imperial history, tactical fundamentals, and basic physical training. Though unpopular among many parents—who view it as an intrusive burden on their children—it has produced a younger generation more disciplined, educated, and devout.

Castle Reinsfeld

Building Type: Fortress / Hidden Arcane AuthorityLocation: Political and military center of Reinsfeld

Castle Reinsfeld is the nerve center of the baron's rule, a formidable bastion that rises over the city both physically and politically. While its walls house elite soldiers and the offices of governance, the true strength of the fortress lies deeper within. Unknown to the public, two seasoned wizards of the Lore of Metal ,These arcane agents can sense the presence of cursed objects and warp-tainted artifacts as naturally as one might feel a change in the wind. Their continued presence makes it nearly impossible for chaos-corrupted items or occult relics to slip into the city undetected.

Workshop of the Overworked Otto

"Otto, I need four new neighborhoods by Hexenstag."

"BY SIGMAR'S BLESSED HAMMER, I HAVEN'T EVEN FINISHED THE LAST TWO!"

Building Type: Infrastructure / Engineering Facility

Location: Industrial quarter of Reinsfeld

Otto, the exhausted and eternally overworked master architect of Reinsfeld, has become something of a city legend. Ever since the population boom began, he's been pushed beyond mortal limits—forced to manage sewers, roads, housing, and fortifications for tens of thousands of new residents. His conversations with the baron usually end in shouting, blueprint tearing, and the faint smell of singed parchment.

To keep the city (and Otto) from collapsing, the baron ordered the construction of this workshop—a vast engineering hall filled with apprentices, builders, and enough tea kettles to keep Otto awake through the night. Thanks to it, infrastructure rises faster, projects are coordinated more effectively… and Otto, sometimes—just sometimes—gets a few hours of sleep.
