Chapter 183 - Chapter 183: Say Hello To My Peter!

Yang Ming's POV:

My name is Yang Ming, the patriarch of a now ruined clan of dragonewts. I was born as the only son of the clan's patriarch and was named as the sole heir to the position of clan leader. However, I was not suited to inherit my father's position. I lacked the talent, the mindset, and the resolve to make a good patriarch, and my father knew as much, which was why he made my youngest son his heir instead.

He was a bright boy, with a righteous heart, but he also possessed great talent and skill. There was no doubt in my mind he would make a much better leader than I could ever be, but then it happened, he fell in love. Under normal circumstances I would have been overjoyed at such an occasion, but that deceitful woman led my son and the entire clan into ruin. And that woman's name was …

"Lunaria Chrystalla!"

*Thud*

"What did you just say?"

Her mask had been partially cracked open, letting me glimpse the face below, that had not aged a day.

*Thud*

"HOW DARE YOU SHOW YOUR FACE TO ME AFTER WHAT YOU DID!" I screamed as I dropped my parasol in favor of lifting her off the ground by her neck.

"How do you know that name?" She said in a serious tone.

"ARE YOU MAKING FUN OF ME?!"

"I asked you a damn question old man!" She said in an angry tone.

"What?!"

I felt an unimaginable sense of dread as I looked up at the black and blue eyes staring down at me.

"How do you know my mother's name?"

*Thud*

I dropped her to the ground as I took a step back. This was not that Chrystalla. That woman gave of a calm, detached and almost cold presence, but this girl with the same face was emanating with something entirely different.

As an indigo cultivator and a dragonewt I have enhanced senses that can pick up on the faintest sounds and movements. Even through the sounds of this pouring rain, I should be able to hear it, the sounds of her footsteps through the muddy ground, the sounds of her every breath, or even the beating of her heart, but I hear nothing. If not for me staring right at her, I wouldn't even know she was here as even my sixth sense can't pick up on her presence anymore. Every nerve in my body is telling me to flee in terror of this girl, but I'm too scared to run as what lies behind those empty round pupils threatens to devour me whole should I make any sudden movements.

It was death. There was no other way to describe this feeling she was giving me. An unknowable and inescapable end to my life. Like an ant before a dragon, it felt like my life could be snuffed out in an instant by an existence too large for me to fully comprehend.

I could feel my heart beating out of my chest as my back was pressed up against a tree, while I watched the thing dawning that woman's skin slowly steps towards me. Just as she was about to reach her hand towards my face, her round pupils suddenly turned to slits, before suddenly looking to her right.

*BANG*

Moments later a man in light armor came flying at her. Punching her through several trees only for groups of men to suddenly appear from the sky to pin her to the ground.

"The bounty said dead or alive right?" A one-eyed man asked as, he descended from the air.

"Yes, boss!"

"Good!"

*BANG*

I clutched my chest as I tried to calm my beating heart, while I watched the group of hooligans beat her savagely. Though, I suppose I should thank them for intervening when they did, as I was not sure if my heart could have taken much more of that.

*Tear*

When I had finally recomposed myself, I looked over to find that they weren't intending to stop at just a beating. They had torn off the girl's clothes and were about to sully her. She may be related to that woman, but even still, this is going a bit too far.

"STOP THAT! WHAT DO YO-?"

"Quiet old man, or do you have a death wish too?" One of the savages said, as he pointed a blade at me.

*Boom*

*Thud*

I released my qi pressure causing the fool to tumble over in fright as he struggled to withstand it. It even seemed to effect the hooligans holding down that girl, allowing her to free one of her legs before kicking the face of the man pulling down his pants.

As an indigo nascent soul cultivator, I am among the top experts on this continent. Only a handful of people would have the power to match me in single combat. Even if I fought all of these youngsters at once, I would likely still win as the highest-ranking cultivator here seems to be the one in the green stage with a missing eye.

"I apologize for my brothers disrespect great expert!" The one-eyed man said, while bowing his head.

"Who are you people?"

"Apologies for the late introduction! We are the Golden Hound mercenaries! We were pursuing this criminal after she ambushed us! She killed some of us, so I beg for your understanding in this matter!"

"Do you have any shame? Even if you are enemies, there are lines that shouldn't be crossed!"

"You missunde-!"

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

Cutting off the man's words, there came a loud shriek from the direction of the young lady. However, to my surprise it was not the sound of the lass being violated, but the agonized screams of the mercenary with his pants down. I could see him tugging on something long and black wriggling between his thighs. I was a little impressed at the size until I realized it wasn't what I thought it was.

"Say hello to my Peter boys!" I heard lass say as the other men snapped out of their astonishment to help their companion remove the thing connected to his lower half.

Ceasing the opening while they were distracted, the lass had escaped the grip of the men pinning her down, knocking them away with surprising strength after freeing her limbs. Meanwhile, the mercenaries had cut through the creature latched on to the man's crotch. I then saw something rather obscene and repulsive as the lass stood up. The thing they had cut off suddenly stopped bleeding before wriggling back to life as the whole in the center grew rows of wriggling white teeth. It had the appearance of a giant black leech, and it appeared to be sticking out of the lass's lower region.

"WHAT IS THAT THING?!"

"Weren't you listening? This is my pet parasite Peter! Say high Peter!"

*ROAR*

As if in response to her words, the leech let out an ear-piercing roar.

"Get her!"

"WAIT! STOP! NO! WHAT ARE YOU! AAAAHHH!"

Just as they were about to gang up on her once more, the man who was grabbing his crotch in pain only moments ago had gotten up and started assaulting his allies. I could see the part of the leech that had been severed start to squirm as he tore of the clothes of the man next to him and started thrusting. By the time they managed to pull him off the poor fellow it seemed whatever had come over him had infected the other man as he too started doing the same. In mere moments two thirds of the mercenaries were either sporting a leech in their lower region or trying to restrain those infected. The rest were trying to grab at the lass as she dodged and weaved past them with nimble movements in spite of the creature dangling between her legs.

"GET RID OF THESE THINGS YOU WITCH!"

"The only way to get rid of em is to cut off their nuts! Now get to choppin!"

"WHAT!?"

"I warned you earlier didn't I! Scram, or your balls are next to go! You didn't 'scram' so blame your faulty ears for not listening!" She said as she hopped next to the man she was dragging earlier.

"WHY YOU LITTLE!"

*Squelch*

Just as the one-eyed leader was about to stab her, the lass had used the unconscious man as a meat shield, causing the green stage nascent soul to run him through by accident. The lass had then kicked the two backwards into the group of mercenaries as the skewered figure of the poor man began to light up in a mix of colors.

*BOOM*

The ensuing rainbow-colored explosion left no survivors as it turned the entire area into a desolate wasteland. From the ones chasing her to the ones dealing with the parasites, even me and the lass herself were caught in the explosion. I was nearly unharmed with only a couple of scratches, but the lass.

*crack*

It seemed that the parasite had wrapped itself around her to shield her from the explosion as I could see its charred remains crumbling into dust around her.

"So, you want to go next old man?" She spoke, her eyes turning dark once more, while her pupils were switching back and forth between a circular and slit shape.

"Who are you?"

"You really don't know do you! HAHAHAHAHA!" She spoke, as she suddenly let out a loud laughter.

"What is so funny?"

"Oh, nothing you need to worry about! Just remember to leave me alone next time you see me!" She said as she tried to walk past me, which is when I caught a whiff of it.

"WAIT!"

I grabbed her by the shoulder as a creeping realization swept over me.

*Thud*
