My name is Chen Jing, I am a follower of the greatest man in the world, the great Dark Lord. I had been there in the early days to witness the great lord's magnificent conquest of the 1st continent. He was initially entrusted to us from a great master from another continent back when he was just a child, but even then, his brilliance shone brighter than the sun itself. At the young age of seven, when he was still in qi refinement, I watched him slay a nascent soul with nothing but his bare hands. At ten he advanced to the golden core as he conquered his first country, establishing the Dark Empire, he would lead us into an age of prosperity as he continued his conquest across the continent, eventually even reaching other continents as well. As I watched this tiger cub grow into a dragon, I realized it was my life's purpose to serve him as there is no doubt in my mind that he will one day rule the world. I try to spread my wisdom to the ignorant masses, but I pity them for most cannot grasp his majesty without witnessing it in person. It is my belief that it is that kind of ignorance toppled with jealousy of his greatness that is the main drive behind the enemies my lord must face.
I was recently informed of a certain ledger that put the loyalty of a certain commander sent to aid my lord into question. I only hope I am wrong, and Sir Wang is not just another jealous heathen. However, my concerns were confirmed when I found a group of Hollow sect disciples surrounding a barrier containing my lord. As a nascent soul all my senses are enhanced so I can both here and see them even though I am half a mile away. The elderly man seemed to be tempting the young lady protecting my lord to defect to the dark side. As if there is a woman who can resist my lord's charms, I mused to myself.
*Stab*
That lunatic just plunged her hand into my lord's stomach. She is likely attempting to cripple his cultivation. I must hurry to my lord's aid before it's too late and his core completely shatters.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH"
I screamed as I could feel my body tearing from the air pressure. I was just about to launch my attack to break open the barrier, when suddenly.
*BOOM*BOOM*BOOM*
A flurry of different colored lightning came crashing down on the barrier all at once. The shockwaves halted my approach, as my worry grew to fear as I saw the lightning hit my lord. Fortunately, I saw the lord had survived and moved to greet him, but just then a multicolored shockwave hit me right in the face as I was sent flying.
It was only after the smoke had cleared that I realized what had happened, and what a joyful thing it was. My lord in spite of those heretics' interference, had advanced to the nascent soul stage, all on his own. The very sight of his divine figure brings a tear to my eye as I was about to get on my knees and pray in reverence of his majestic figure, when suddenly I noticed the sinful girl who dared lay a hand on his majesty's body was lain next to me. She was barely breathing as her entire body had been mangled from the shockwave. Her every limb twisting the wrong way, her ribcage sunken in as her waist was twisted 180 degrees. Her mask half broken revealing the spotless face of a young girl. I moved to put her out of her misery. Sinful though her actions may have been, she was just a young girl who fell for the evil temptations of the world. However, before I could reach her, his majesty appeared out of thin air and grabbed my hand.
"Your majesty what do I owe this graeeeeeaeAAAAAAAAH"
Shortly after blessing my hand with his, I was flung across the ground in bliss. As I watched his majesty grant that sinner her final right himself. He truly is just as merciful as he can be cruel. But why is he grabbing onto her like that I wonder?

After confirming this was truly not a dream I was stunned. I had somehow gone from being a crippled cultivator to a nascent soul master in the blink of an eye. This ridiculous feeling in my stomach confirmed it. As my cultivation advanced my senses expanded and I caught a glimpse of something truly beautiful giving me a strange feeling throughout my body. As I reached out for it, whatever it was, disappeared. I searched my surroundings using my newly acquired sixth sense and found it. It had moved right next to that fanatic Chen Jing. I could feel him reaching out to grab it before me, that I cannot allow. Whatever that is, belongs to none other than this dark lord and no one else.
I took a step towards his direction as the world twisted around me carrying me through space to reach my destination instantly. It all came so naturally to me, as the very world would bend to my every whim and fancy should I wish it. The power was astounding. I grabbed mister Chen's hand as he was preparing a qi attack to break that thing. How uncharacteristically insolent of him. As my rage began to build, I considered killing him right then and there, but as my senses were drifting towards that thing covered by the dust cloud that just blew by, it was replaced by excitement. I threw the middle-aged guy out of the way as I moved in to take that beautiful thing for myself. As the dust cloud dyed down to reveal the mangled young girl in front of me, my heart skipped a beat.
"I see. So that's what this feeling that's been plaguing me for so long is. *giggle*"
Nox's mangled body was lain across the ground, but unlike usual her body wasn't drawing in the surrounding materials to restore itself, instead.
*Snap*
*Crack*
The mangled bones in her body were just snapping back into place as her body's natural regeneration was closing her cuts and bruises at a visible speed.
Just as I had picked her up and started carrying her like a princess, my senses picked up some movements behind me as I could hear Chen Jing yelling.
"MY LORD! WATCHOUT!"
Just then, I could feel something warm, touch my lower back as an explosion echoed through this newly formed wasteland.
"HAHAHA! YOU LET YOUR GUARD DOWN! TO THINK THE DARK LORD WOULD ADVANCE, ONLY TO BE FELLED BY ME, THE GREAT MASTER LIU-"
*BOOM*
The great master Liu's words were cut short by an explosive kick to the face, sending him flying backwards. When the dust cloud they kicked up cleared, master Liu was shocked to see an unblemished Dark Lord holding an almost un-mangled girl in his arms.
"My little Nox is all tuckered out for today. Hence, I can't afford to waste anymore time with you, lest she wake prematurely."
"WHA-"
And with those words the dark lord shot a white laser beam from his finger as he drew a heart shape on to the old man's torso. Master Liu's final thoughts as his dying body hit the ground was of how he regretted not just killing that troublesome girl while he still had the chance.
"Now then. Mister Chen." The dark lord addressed his fanatical follower.
"Yes. I am at your service, your excellency!"
"Have your men take this traitor to the 'Frozen Palace'." The dark lord said as he gestured at commander Wang who was foaming at the mouth
"It shall be done."
Just as Chen Jing's entourage arrived, the Dark Lord, carrying the still unconscious Nox, vanished into thin air.
