Late in the night, the door creaked as Caesar stepped into her small apartment. Caesar flicked the switch and saw the living room had been cleaned up. Caesar then walked into the kitchen and saw the same thing which made her slightly smile.
"Rai..." Caesar said within.
Caesar walked down the short hallway, towards the room of her younger brothers and as she softly opened the door, she saw them fast asleep.
The youngest born Eyo, had a fair skin and a brown hair while the second oldest Rai had a fair skin and yellow hair.
As the boys were sleeping, Eyo's arms were wrapped around a stuffed plush while Rai was curled toward him.
As Caesar stared down at the two with a warm smile, Raizan's voice replayed in her head.
"You have two younger brothers. Humans, correct? Rai and Eyo."
"Eyo is the youngest, am i right?"
"Go to her house. Sell the youngest."
"At least we will be able to make something from him."
After remembering those words, Caesar's right hand slightly shook. Caesar quietly closed the door and leaned her shoulder against the wall while she tilted her head down.
"They would have come here. They would have broken down this door, taken Eyo and sold him, and there would be nothing Rai, I or anyone else could do about it." Caesar said in her heart.
"What could we do? What can I even do?" Caesar asked in her heart as she left the hallway and walked into the living room, "I'm just one person... One person who is at their mercy."
Caesar walked towards the couch and slumped on it.
"The Mizukais... Everyone knows they are one of the most powerful families in Neo-earth." Caesar continued, "They can do almost anything and get away with it. They are basically above the law."
Caesar raised her head and stared at the ceiling and while she was staring, Akari Mizukai's voice replayed in her head.
"Tell me, Moon. Do you have any knowledge of Elite Battle Wrestling?"
"You will be joining them."
Caesar after recalling those words, remembered Akari's face especially her wicked grin which made Caesar sigh.
"Elite Battle Wrestling... More like Elite Perverts." Caesar softly said, "What they do there isn't wrestling. It's just porn in the ring.
A circus filled with sickos, degenerates and perverts."
"How they can just shamelessly shove people's faces into their private area in front of thousands... How they can just shove their own faces into..."
"Gosh!" Caesar said in irritation as she rubbed her face with one hand, "Disgusting. And that's where I'll be working from tomorrow."
Caesar stood from the couch and walked towards the kitchen and placed her hands on the sink.
"Tomorrow... Just to pay off their debt. A five million yon debt..." Caesar continued , "Five million... Borrowed by the fools who call themselves my parents, just to gamble it all away."
Caesar recalled the faces of her parents. Her father was a bulky beast folk with a pale skin, a long white hair that faded into black tips and white bangs that veiled his forehead. He also had a black wolf-furred ears that protruded from his head, flaming red irises and a black furry tail that faded into white tips.
Caesar's mother was a human with fair skin, long yellow hair with curtain bangs and yellow irises.
After remembering their faces, Caesar scowled.
"They didn't even touch an ounce of it. They just died off, leaving me to clean up for them."
A flashback takes place as little Caesar was cowering in fear and pain against the wall with red welts striped all over her body. During that moment, her father glared down at her while holding a belt in his hand.
Caesar's mother smirked and slowly walked towards her while drinking wine from a glass cup.
After she had finished drinking, Caesar's mother paused and slightly tilted her head to the left side while maintaining her smirk.
"Wretched little thing!" Caesar's mother angrily said as she threw the glass cup at Caesar's skull.
The cup shattered against Caesar's temple which led the little girl to cry out in pain while clutching the side of her head as blood trickled down her face.
"You saved money? Do you think we are stupid?" Caesar's mother asked, "You obviously stole that money."
Caesar's mother then glanced at her husband and extended her hand.
"Darling.... May I?" Caesar's mother asked.
Caesar's father stated at his wife for some seconds before he nodded his head in response and handed her the belt.
Caesar's mother then straighten the belt a little and shifted her gaze back at Caesar with an evil smile before raising the belt above her shoulders.
After the rememberance, Caesar gritted her teeth in anger.
"You bastards...! Damn you...! Damn you all to hell!" Caesar said as she slammed the side of her fist into the sink, "I hope you are burning in hell! No, I hope you are burning in somewhere worse than it!
Abusing us and ruining my life was not enough, you had to dump this mountain of debt on our heads... 'My' head!"
Caesar's breathing became ragged and she gritted her teeth again.
"A thousand yon is no small money, not to talk of a million... Five million and that's how much I'm supposed to pay because of you!" Caesar said, "Because of you!!"
Caesar remembered the face of her mother smirking.
"You! If you were still alive, I'd wipe that smirk out of your face!"
Caesar then recalled her father's face.
"And you! If you were still alive, I'd kick you in the balls so hard you wouldn't be able to walk for the rest of your life!"
Caesar then repeatedly slammed the side of her fist against the sink.
"I hate you! I hate you! I HATE YOU BOTH!!" Caesar said.
Caesar took a strong deep breath and exhaled as she stepped back. She then slumped to her knees, bowed her head down and started breathing heavily while tears welled round the corners of her eyes.
"I hate you so much." Caesar softly said.
Silence filled the atmosphere for a while and Caesar wiped her eyes. Caesar remembered the golden card Akari gave her and decided to reach into her left pocket and pull it out.
Caesar stared at the card for some time and sighed.
"This is my life now." Caesar said, "I've been through a lot of jobs since i was little but if anyone told me that i would ever step foot in that company, i would have assumed the person was either joking or high.
Fate has a twisted sense of humor, doesn't it?"
Caesar placed the card back into her pocket and stood on her feet.
"It does." Caesar said in her heart, "It truly does."
