Laziel had entered the room in a hurry, and now green leaves and vines were sticking to his head. He resembled a swamp monster.
Zerra jolted, her eyes temporarily widened before she recovered her senses. She was still angry at him. How can she help him?
Clearing her throat, she asked him flatly. "What are you doing here?"
There was a small hill of crystal cores on her table. She now could switch to her fox form temporarily, five minutes at most. When Laziel was knocking on her door, she was in her fox form.
He was interrupting her meal! Thinking of this, she glared at him.
Laziel scratched his head. Zerra was indeed still angry at him. Look at that fierce little face glaring ferociously at him like he owed her money.
Oh, wait, money!
He pointed to the crystal cores on the table. "Zee, what are you going to do with those things?"
Most of those weren't crystal cores with wood attributes. The memory of a certain fox surfaced in his mind. But… that fox wasn't here.
