Laziel was incredibly stunned. He had only said one word to her; she didn't even give him a chance to say something else yet.
"Sister…" he pursed his lips and exhaled.
Zerra, who happened to run onto the scene, froze in shock. Nyra's choice was ruthless, but also reasonable. Seeing it from her perspective, she didn't do that for herself, but also for Laziel.
Eventually, Meira would bring Laziel into ruins if he continued his relationship with her.
"Come to me again if you have made a decision." Nyra's stern glare was unfaltering; her brooding eyes, because of exhaustion, slowly left Laziel's figure. She was unwilling to pay attention to him any longer.
Her decision was final.
"She might not be as bad as you think. Maybe the two of you have a misunderstanding. I will definitely find the culprit who did it." Laziel made a determined vow before he turned around, leaving the room.
